Today was my last visit to Natural Grocers in Lubbock. WARNING! Check your receipt before you leave! I have been ripped off just about every time I go there. Today, as usual, I pointed out pricing errors from the shelf to checkout. Yes, I am on their rewards program so I know the screen at the checkout isn't the same as on the receipt where the discounts should show up.
The manager grudgingly fixed a pricing error, or so I thought. When I got home I discovered she didn't!
If you decide to shop here, check your receipt before you leave. You've been warned.

I have been going here for years. Why would the check out person slam my olive oil bottles together and shoved our groceries to the side and yelled Next! I understand understaffed but rude No!! If the Olive oil bottles are cracked you are paying for them. Thank you

I have been a customer of Natural Grocers for almost 10 years and it's my main store for buying groceries. Why? Organic grass fed dairy (you can taste the difference) and the chicken is much more tender than conventional ones.

But the main reason I shop here is because it's cheaper, yes cheaper than even a lot of conventional grocery stores. The dairy and chicken no, but their eggs are a permanent loss leader. I am also a baker and their organic flours and baking items are often cheaper (ie coconut flour and spices) than conventional stores.

Then there are the sales on items like Braggs vinegar and staples making them organic and a good value. All organic produce means I only have to shop price to buy things when they are in season.

You have to be insane to buy non organic these days as the pesticides, preservatives and overprocessed food is poison. I'm so grateful to Natural Grocers for sifting out most of the garbage so I can shop in less time with confidence that my food is healthier.

I have been a customer of Natural Grocers since they opened in Denton Tx. However, I know refuse to shop that store. I have taken my business elsewhere.
Back in January my husband and I were sick. I decided to go get us some Eucalypts and Lavender oils for our defuser in our bedroom. I made the purchase the day they were giving out free olives and bags. I got home and realized I purchased the tester of lavender which was almost empty. I returned it to the store a couple days later just to get a full one. I was told by the Manager that they had not sold that brand in over 6 weeks. I did not have my receipt but told her I was just looking to return their tester and get a full bottle of what I paid for. I was told NO and called a liar. No business from me anymore, period. Bad customer service.

I bought a bag of dried goods for $30. I returned it to the store with the receipt. It was unopened and in resellable condition. They would not take it back. They would not give me credit. No customer service. Period.
I walked out and have not and will not return. I shop at other local health food stores now.

In ending I want to say that four of your Staff members name Sarah,Amy, Crystal and Rebecca were so very very very very Professional Helpful and very very Caring when I stopped into their very very nice Natural Grocers Store located at the address 7220 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson,AZ 85710.Last of all I say that all four Employees mention above have very very Excellent Communication Skills and yes all know and love their job so very much and I told them for my service that they gave me JOB WELL DONE ok smile. Praise the Lord and God is Good Amen and to all four of yous and all the very very very very
very wonderful Natural Grocers Store Employees that work at the store mention above all of yous are always very very very Positive Representatives for store mention above day in and day out ok take care God Bless.

Incredibly rude and disrespectful staff at the Pueblo outlet. Wow! Customer service at its worst. Pity, as my wife and I have been patronising this store for many years. We will take our money elsewhere.

Excellent shopping experience! They sell the very very best bacon on the market, in my opinion. I have recently started shopping here after several negative experiences with Kroger, my former primary grocery store. I'm blown away by prices on food not contaminated with poison. Very nice to shop at this store!

I live between the Independence and Liberty, MO stores. They both treat customers well. Liberty store is more willing to do special orders than Independence location. I know sometimes, there is alot of maintenance on special orders. But Liberty is willing to go the extra mile. Everyone is nice and helpful, I have never been told I am too busy to help. And if you do on the rare occasion can't find someone the person in the vestibul will radio for help.

Natural Grocers has a really great selection of healthy foods, and healthier foods are naturally pricier than their cheap-production (i.e. non-organic and mass produced with inferior ingredients) counterparts. So with that in mind I'm giving them 4 stars, because they really are a little too pricey for the average family. I'm not arguing for or against the justification, just stating the fact. We still shop here but limit our purchases to items that we really can't get cheaper, elsewhere, like fresh ground Almond Butter and White Mountain yogurt.
