Impressive Process
Very efficient process - both in the booking arrangement and the person who did the replacement. It was my back window that was smashed so most of the glass ended up in the boot. He emptied my boot neatly and hoovered up all the glass. Impressive. He was a great combination of friendliness and professional efficiency.

Excellent professional service, kept me informed every step of the way. Due to foul weather mobile replacement had to be rescheduled concluding in visit to their premises for completion. Everyone friendly and helpful and work carried out efficiently and satisfactorily.

Excellent windscreen replacement
National Windscreens Derby branch provided excellent service from start to finish when replacing my windscreen. Could not tell it was a new windscreen and as a courtesy they reattached the dash cam. Recalibration (ASDS) of the cameras was also carried out within the 3 hour replacement.

The young man who came out to assess if he could fix it was ver apologetic as e said due to 2 points of impact a new screen would be needed and that he'd call his manager to see if it could be sorted for the following day.

Good Service from Start to Finish.
I had a really good experience overall. I asked for genuine manufacturer glass and paid the difference (you have to call them after the booking is made and wait for them to confirm it with your insurer. In my case, the insurer authorised up to a certain amount and I had to pay the difference). There was a bit of confusion between the branch and customer service about the status of the glass order, but it was sorted out within a day or two. Booking was easy, and both customer service and the branch were easy to get in touch with.
I could track the order status and book the appointment easily once the glass was in stock. I dropped the car off around 9am and it was ready by about 1pm. The car was left clean and tidy, with no damage or anything else I could notice.
The windscreen installation seems solid. I don’t really have a way to check it other than seeing how it holds up, and I took it through a car wash four days later with no issues. I think they use Michelin wiper blades if you choose to replace them as well, which seems like good value. Even if you buy them yourself, you’re not saving much.
