Horrible service
If I could give this company 0 stars then I would. Never in my life have I dealt with such an awful company. I had the glass replaced on my Mercedes GLC and since then the automatic wipers haven’t been working. I took it back into the garage, they tested the sensors and couldn’t find anything wrong with it so they told me to take it to Mercedes, so I did. Mercedes then said that all the sensors are working fine, the issue is that they fitted aftermarket glass which isn’t compatible. National Windscreens then decide that because they have apparently “never had this issue with any other Mercedes” that it’s not their fault, and that they won’t replace my windscreen with an OEM one. Thanks to them, a safety feature that I paid for is now gone and they refuse to do anything. Don’t waste your time with this scam company.

The engineer communicated well with a possible time slot.
The only problem was that it took 1 week to replace the window, so my car was at risk throughout that week as i only had black plastic covering the broken window.

Great service & expertise
I received an appointment with National Windscreens within 48 hours of contacting my insurer. National Windscreens kept me updated about my appointment and the expected delivery time for the windscreen to be fitted to my car. This was a specialist job because my BMW car has heads up display. The windscreen was fitted and tested within 4 hours and the quality is high.

My replacement screen required ADAS…
My replacement screen required ADAS recalibration which was agreed at the time the appointment was made. The appointment time that came through to me would not have left sufficient time to carry out the recalibration before the depot closed for the day, a phone call the day before asked if I could bring the car in earlier to ensure all the work could be carried out. The actual work was exemplary, the organisation needs looking at.
