Woeful delivery time, ordered on 7/10, paid £20.50 for an order of just £45, based on their own website claim of FAST DELIVERY, still not delivered as of 14/10. Told me items dispatched next day but it’s up to the drivers to schedule the deliveries, obviously wont come near me until they get enough orders to fill the van. DHL would have provided 48hr delivery for that price. How can a tradesman work with his customers with delivery times like that. I ordered a set of bifold doors, oak boards and oak risers from 3 other companies on same day, all delivered within 3 days and for less cost. Not really sure why i’ve given it TWO stars, I suppose in the fervent hope that it will turn up one day.

I am still awaiting an order to be delivered that was placed in Early August, I have emailed several times and been fobbed off by excuse after excuse, firstly it was logistics, now its cant source the product. apparently on 1st September it had been escalated to senior management, here we are 11 days later still no further forward. I required the product ordered to continue fitting out a search and rescue vehicle.

Poor quality product. Don’t consider buying unless you are prepared to do a lot of sanding down.
Emailed my opinion to them over a week ago and am still awaiting a response.

I ordered 21 lengths of skirting and 12 lengths of architrave, all at 4.2m in length (Colonial profile).
Once received, I soon realised there was an issue with the architrave, all lengths had a machining defect on each end. This resulted in having to cut off 180mm (90mm each end) from each length and so the amount I had calculated that I'd need was no longer accurate. All they needed to do was supply enough to over the defects and that would have been the end of it, but sadly no.... who is in charge of QC??!
I contacted NS and spoke to Chloe, they were quick to take responsibility and responsive on emails back and forth. They sent out a 3m length to cover the defects.
However once I had thought about it we both agreed that this wasn't going to be anywhere near enough to cover what I had to scrap (once the 4.2m length is cut down you can no longer get 2 legs out of a length). So kindly she agreed to send a further 6 lengths out instead (I said I was happy to pay for a couple of lengths to cover any miss cuts I may have made but the waived this).
I then received the 3m length on its own, this was a different size on the profile so I couldn't use it (it shouldn't have been sent out when I contacted NS).
I then received a further 5 lengths (not 6) and they had more issues than the first 12... Again, they all had machining defects at each end, as well as a machining line all the way down the length... and this is where NS customer care nose dived.
I called them all week, each time I joined a "queue" and when you get to speak to an agent it asks you to leave a message as there is nobody available. I must have spent 3 hours in total, left 2 or 3 messages for someone to call me back and nobody did. I sent Chloe several emails, pictures and explanations of the issues, only to be ignored, no response, no acknowledgment. I tried FB messenger as well, but again, ignored.

NS customer service is absolutely abysmal, which is odd as at the start it was actually good. I totally lost any faith I had in the products they provide and the after sales they offer (non existant). The customer experience is dreadful and products hit and miss.

They had me over a barrel as I needed some more and in the end I was forced to order another 4 lengths of architrave. I recieved this morning and guess what, defects again!! shock. I wont be contacting NS as I have given up on them and value my time.

I won't be using this company in the future as I have wasted so mush time on the end of a phone or writing emails, not to mention the delays on the job (its taken 4 weeks from starting to now)..

This could have all been avoided if aftersales care existed.

Update 1st Oct.

NS sent me 4 lengths out for free a few weeks ago, great, no, all lengths defected, absolute shambles. Trading standards will be getting a phone call! You do not get what you pay for.
Oh and they also deleted my (as above) comments on their Facebook page.

Will definitely be using these again.

No communication, having to chase to then be lied to that I would have my delivery this week - and that didn't transpire...

No customer service, don't believe the "4 - 7 working days" delivery statement - 14 days in and I've cancelled my order.
