Poor customer service!!!
I ordered a tire changing machine from National Auto Tools which was shipped using YRC freight. It took a few days for National to call me to confirm my address and that I needed a lift gate service to drop it at my residence. It then was passed off to YRC (Yellow Freight) which had it for the next week and a half. When the machine got to the destination hub (about 50 miles from my home) YRC called and told me I had to pick up the machine as they would not deliver it to my address. They said my street wasn't accessible as it was on a cul-de-sac. I have had semi truck deliveries with 53' trailers in my front driveway so I knew they just didn't want to deliver the "last mile" leg of the trip. I called National Auto to see if they could help me and talked to several people including "John" and "Jordan". I was told they would call YRC and help me and I was never called back. Left messages for "Jordan" and nothing.... They simply didn't want to deal with it and hoped I would solve my own problem. Well, I had to rent a trailer and drive 100 mile round trip to pick up my machine after paying for lift gate service. Cost me hundreds of dollars extra to get my machine. Great job guys!!!
