I started taking the MyOva - Myoplus back in June of this year after a confirmed PCOS diagnosis. I've put off giving a review (and normally don't give reviews full stop!) until now because I wanted to wait and give these a tablets a chance to do their thing (which is recommended by My Ova). What I will stress to anyone thinking about taking these or not sure if they are working PLEASE WAIT THE 6 MONTHS RECOMMENDED!!! Since June, my periods seemed to not change much - I was looking at my 'normal' 60 day cycles on average but carried on taking the tablets as the small changes I noticed i.e. less painful periods & more stable moods seemed worth it. However, the last two months (October and November) my cycles have been 30 and 31 days respectively!!! Unheard of for me in the last two years! I'm so happy I found these - knowing when I am due on and it actually being on time is such a weight off my shoulders. I can understand some may be hesitant to purchase as they are on the pricier side but if you can afford them then I would say they are 100% worth the money.

I would give the tablets zero if I could but customer service 5*. To break it down I have been taking pure inositol in powder form for months and within 2 weeks my cycle, month by month was starting to become regular again. But I was fed up with the powder and having to take 4 scoops twice a day. So when I found myova tablet form of the inositol I was happy to give it a try especially given the reviews. What a mistake that would be. 1 month taking it periods completely stopped. 6 weeks gone by and still nothing. So I stopped and now 3months and my period has not come. But I contacted myova as I was so frustrated and massively disappointed and they were nothing short of lovely and understanding. Especially that I had ordered 3 bottles, 1 was unopened and they accepted it back and refunded me for that bottle swiftly. If this works for you I'm so glad but please proceed with caution as it doesn't work for everyone. Moral of the story don't fix what's broken as it can truly end up far worse.

Recently bought this currently in the process of my 1st month havnt see any affect yet but does say unto to 3 month 🥰 I’m excited to see what can happen heard really good story’s

I have only used this for 2 months but have noticed a massive difference in my cycle and other symptoms of pcos. My cycle improved within the 1st month and waiting to see what month 2 is like!

If I could I would give 10* - This product is absolutely amazing, never in my life have I had a tablet that works so well. The doctors couldn't give me anything for my PCOS and my periods have came back 3 months in a row from having a period every 6 months!! What a life saver - I can't thank the OVA team enough for creating a tablet that actually helps women with lifelong conditions. If anyone is debating buying these tablets for PCOS, best decision I've made.

Since coming off the pill last year I have been experiencing irregular periods, going 3-4 months without a period, getting bad acne and bodily hair. My testosterone levels were higher than they should be when I went to the GP and was told to wait it out as it could be post pill PCOS and they would book a scan in 2 months time to check for PCOS. I found MyOva and started taking them, 4 a day as instructed by the tub. I am 10 days in and have had my first period in 4 months, I have clear skin!!!!! And my bodily hair has reduced massively. I am shocked at how quickly I have seen results and Would honestly recommend MyOva to everyone!! It’s incredible.

I have PCOS and my period stopped coming for months. First month I took myovacare my period came back and it’s now stably coming every month. I’m beyond grateful.

Only 2 weeks in taking this. Noticed a differance to less sugar cravings. Hopeful good things more will continue.

I have only been using these tablets for 2 months, so it might too early to tell. However, I can say that it seems to be helping my PCOs symptoms like mood swings and hormonal imbalance. My first period on it wasn’t overly painful which is amazing! But was very short like only 2 days which is the first time that’s happened but my body might just be adjusting to the tablets. I will definitely continue to use them!

Quick delivery and well packed. Yet to see a change in my blood tests after 2 months of use...will keep using! Just bought 3 months' worth of tablets.

I have so much more energy, my skin is better, my chin hair is growing so much slower..i used to have to shave daily and now its every three to four days. My periods are easier to cope with and regular. I don’t crave sweet stuff all the time now so I have dropped a stone. The are honestly amazing.

Also, I am confused why one of the pills in my myoplus is a different color, I asked customer service and no one answered me.

EDIT:

Editing to say that the cycle after the one mentioned in the original review I actually conceived! It could be a coincidence but maybe doubling the dosage of Myo-Inositol from 2000mg to 4000mg did actually regulate my cycles and allowed me to conceive. Currently, just over 17 weeks pregnant with a girl and fingers crossed everything goes well

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

I've only started taking MyOva MyoPlus halfway through my last cycle as I used up a previous company's supplement which I had tried for four months without positive results so I cannot give a fully comprehensive view just yet but I will update in the future.

(Background: I have lean PCOS (5ft 4in - 9st 3lbs), eat 80-85% unprocessed food, and go for 3 brisk walks a day)

Positives:

I managed to get to cycle day 27! My cycles are usually 22-24 days long but have been shorter.

Negatives:

My menstrual bleeding has become so much heavier - I have had to empty my cup six times due to it being so full it leaks. Previously I have been able to leave it for 12 hours and it still has been under half-full. I hope this means that I won't be bleeding for the usual 7-9 days and the follicular phase will be longer.

I had intermenstrual bleeding from 2DPO (according to BBT tracking). I've experienced intermenstrual bleeding quite a lot in my other cycles but this kept getting heavier and lighter but never fully going away. Not sure if this was just a bad cycle for bleeding or the supplements caused this. I will track this cycle to see if this continues.

After two months of using MyOva MyoPlus consistently I can see a slight decrease in unwanted hair growth that I have been experiencing. But the product has not helped with regulating my periods, boosting energy levels or reducing acne.
