My dealings with My Mobility were… first class
My dealings with My Mobility were excellent from the initial visit and the subsequent quote right through until the installation of the reconditioned Stannah stairlift. "Aaron", the installer, was most competent and very pleasant to deal with. He gave me and my wife a very professional demonstration of how to operate it and ensured that we were fully competent and satisfied before he left. Highly commended all round.

This isn't a proper company. Look them on Companies House. Seem to be a finance company. Siobhan, whose business card says Affordable Stairlifts and gives her job title as Technical Surveyor, was very nice but basically was pushing the reconditioned stairlifts. I guess these are the ones they make the most money on. The engineer that came to fit the stairlifts was fine, but charged my parents an extra £100 so that the lift would swivel at the top of the stairs automatically. This was not discussed during the meeting with Siobhan. There was no paperwork left after installation, so no copy of the invoice/payment, no instruction manual or number to phone in case of any problems. Siobhan had said the stairlift would be in mint condition but it definitely was not.
Unfortunately my father passed away less than a week after installation. We asked if there was the possibility of buy back and was told yes of course but then we were only offered £300 after paying £1900. And we had still not had the £100 over charge which Mitch said would be refunded. Communication was appalling. Stay well clear and find a real company.

The stairlift provided is excellent
The stairlift provided is excellent, the installation was also quick and very efficient and we were given excellent instructions for its use. Our only problem was communication with the company at the beginning was very poor.

A knowledgeable Surveyor explained all options, not a hint of pressure sales. Installation was done to a very high standard and a little problem sorted by a top class Customer Service team.
All in all a very good experience.
