Very unreliable site full of haters and trash people who don't even know how to review dramas. Very untrustworthy site. Don't trust the reviews.
Selvom vi ikke verificerer specifikke påstande, fordi anmeldernes meninger er deres egne, kan vi godt betegne anmeldelser som "Verificerede", når vi kan bekræfte, at der har fundet en forretningsinteraktion sted. Læs mere

Mydramalist don't deserve any stars. The comments section under actors and actresses Profile's should be muted. There are defamatory comments under their Profiles.
It's a pity that MyDramaList is run by such gatekeeping mods and admins, most of whom refuse to either keep actors profiles updated themselves, nor allow anyone else to do so. Sure, you want the information to be accurate. But when you don't include a list of what sources are considered 'official', you are simply gatekeeping.
I have tried, and been rejected, 4 times from updating a page, even though I am the actor listed on that page. Each time I try to update my bio and photo (both of which are three years out-of-date, they reject my changes, asking for 'proof' of these changes. Apparently links to my personal website, and my personal IMDb, are not enough 'proof'.
It's honestly ridiculous. At the end of the day, with the way this site is managed, it probably doesn't have long left to live anyway. IMDb is a much better souce, and much more credible than MDL anyway.
They are extremely picky with what they allow on the website especially if you are trying to help contribute to the forms. They have an extremely high rejection rate. They also haven't updated a lot of features that have been neglected over the years. They will ignore your request to help update these specific features, like if they could add the new streaming platforms, they will not respond whatsoever and it's been very frustrating. They just refuse to add/update the website if it's not just adding a new film or drama most of the time the moderators are the ones who take control of updating that themselves so everyone can see all their contributions..., but if you even think of adding a film/show yourself they will reject the request. I swear the powertrip they almost all have because they can control so much of the website, but again you can almost never contribute anything especially updating where to stream. If it's not already listed in the edit section to update where to stream they won't do add it in. They've completely abandoned that part of the website even though they made a Google doc so people like me can send a request so they can add the new platform, but no changes have been made. I've spoken to a few curators who were nice enough to speak to me about this issue and they've also mentioned they will get ignored as well when they try to deal with how out of date the website has become. They've all told me they don't even know who is actually in charge of that part of the website and they've tried to take it over themselves but no one got back to them, so many of the moderators either don't respond as I already explained or they just lost track on whoever it was that was in charge. Apparently they have a high rate of changing hands on who's responsibility it is so messy. I just wish they would make it a nicer place to be and not be so snobbish on what they will or won't allow & actually update the website not just add new films/dramas. Oh and I almost forgot they also won't update what countries you can add on their website that's another thing that keeps getting neglected. Especially because my drama list is an Asian film/drama form. I've asked if they could please update the website to add more films/dramas that I noticed that weren't added already buy the moderators who basically do that all themselves, just to find out they know other Asain countries are getting more attention internationally but they don't care about including them. They say they would eventually but it's been maybe 4 years since I brought it up. They only seem to care about Korea, Japan, China and recently they added Thailand and The Philippines when I asked if they could add more countries. One of the moderators or curators told me it took them a while before they even added the last two I mentioned. Again their snobbish side was coming out.
