We knew little about Stop Start batteries apart from our car needing one as a replacement. Noticed their professional looking advert and “Home” fit at a specified time to be agreed on their web site. Pre-payment sorted, the battery was replaced within an hour with all paperwork and guarantee sorted. We would have no hesitation in recommending Auto Hero to anyone as their professionalism shone through.

Had a lovely young man to replace my dead battery this morning. Great experience from beginning to end. Gave me a price to replace my battery which was very good. Gave me a 1 hour time slot, rang me nearer the time to let me know what time he would arrive and was very punctual. Because the battery had been changed he then put the code in for the radio for me and found my preferred radio station. I am more than happy with the service I received. Thank you for getting me back on the road quickly and efficiently, amazing service 😊. I would highly recommend this company.

Fast service and very friendly and professional

Needed a replacement car battery for my Mini and due to various reasons wasn't able to get it to a garage. Looked online and found Auto Hero and was glad I did. Quick and easy order confirmation where I got to choose a time and date that was convenient for me.
On the day of fitting the mechanic was on on time, polite and courteous. Fitting was completed in quick time and all checked over before leaving. Great service and great price for the home visit. Highly recommended. A+

Great local service. I found them online but needed call them as I was not sure which battery to order for my car. They were reassuring and helpful. More importantly, they were quick both in terms of getting the battery to me and fitting. I would highly recommend them.

The Auto Hero mechanic arrived at the appointed time specified. He installed the new car battery without any problems and offered to dispose of the old battery. This was a very efficient service and I would highly reommend Auto Hero again.

Absolutely unparalleled customer service and care, came out to car for work and car wouldn’t start nothing at all, didnt initially think it was a battery issue as had a Varta EFB battery fitted by auto hero about two and half years ago, gave them a call as previous experience was very positive on service and price, within a couple of hours arrived at my house, several checks on existing battery and new one needed, new battery fitted and was told that the previous battery had a 3 year warranty and the new one would be fitted under the manufacturers warranty, WOW, didn't expect that unbelievable customer service and care, Off I went to work contacted them again due to a small issue with climate control not coming on, spoke with the fitter and he arranged to drop in at my work and address the issue, some Ford’s need to have a certain fuse pulled and refitted after a battery change and reprogramming, I was in a meeting and keys left with works reception I then had a message saying all sorted, another WOW, I’ve never experienced such impressive service (unheard of these days) so would I recommend Auto Hero…. ABSOLUTELY YES without any hesitation or doubt, thank you Auto Hero.

J’ai commandé la voiture en juin, divers retards dans la livraison, à un moment ils ont annulé ma commande parce que le virement bancaire n’est arrivé que la veille de la livraison (erreur informatique de la banque - ils étaient au courant), ils ont rétabli la commande mais avec 14 jours de retard, On m’a alors dit qu’ils l’avaient livré au mauvais endroit, deux semaines de plus avant qu’ils ne puissent livrer mais il était à 150 km de chez moi. J’ai accepté cela et récupéré la voiture le 22 juillet-tout avait l’air bien MAIS après 100 km, divers avertissements sont apparus de graves problèmes mécaniques. Je suis rentré chez moi en boitant et j’ai emmené la voiture à mon agent local principal Citroen. J’ai été horrifié d’apprendre que la voiture était dangereuse à conduire - une grande partie de la suspension avait été mal installée, ce qui a causé d’autres dommages - - J’ai eu la chance de rentrer chez moi sans accident, Citroen a pris contact avec eux et a effectué un diagnostic ainsi qu’un devis pour les travaux. Une semaine plus tard, je suis toujours avec ma voiture et aucune nouvelle d’AUTOHERO. Je ne pense pas que quiconque là-bas s’en soucie.

Contacted as battery had become unreliable. Given time slot for 9-12am next day. Chap arrived just after nine. Was pleasant and efficient. Installed new battery. Took old battery away as well as rubbish. Gave me receipt with guarantee on back and left. Just what you want from a company

Really efficient and prompt service.

I would definitely recommend this service. I booked online the night before as my car battery was dead and the next day they arrived at my house and fitted the new battery for me. All sorted. They even took the old battery away. A great service at a reasonable price.
