Comparing to other similar brands with products made in China, they have really good-quality ones. There are lots of selections too. Have been using their organizers for bedrooms and kitchens for a while and there are no issues. Will purchase again!

Probably the most consistently awful customer service I have ever dealt with. My order hadn’t been shipped out for 3 weeks. They only shipped it AFTER I reached out to customer service twice. They clearly forgot to send it. I ordered two shirts, returned both of them because I didn’t like how see through it was. They refunded one and refused to refund the second because they said it was “dirty” despite me never wearing it. Now they are “looking into it” and I’m assuming I’ll never hear back. They have the shirt and my money. Listen to the negative feedback on all these reviews. MUJI US is awful. I’m sure in store it’s fine because they can’t accuse you of damaging merchandise that has never been opened. I will amend the review if they actually get back to me.

Their products are made to the highest quality, always love buying stuff from muji, it's minimalist heaven with a bit of slick on the side. Highly recommend shopping there.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. If I could give them a 0 I would. I never received a package that they said was delivered (I checked my mailroom, neighbors, etc.; no package turned up and the mail carrier couldn't find it). I tried calling their customer service line 10 times and never got a response. I tried emailing them three times and did not get a response until almost two weeks later. My response to that email did not get another response until another two weeks. Will not shop with Muji again.
Abysmal customer service
Abysmal customer service. I returned two items to the store in October 2020 and never received the credit on my account. I have followed up by email multiple times and IF they respond it's a general email sent a week later. I will never purchase from them online ever again, which is a shame because the store can have nice things, albeit sometimes very very very cheaply made and extremely overpriced.
Amazingly bad customer service
Amazingly bad customer service. I placed my order in March, while the checkout page gives me estimated delivery date in 1 week, I haven't even got any tracking info after 7 days. I follow the instructions on Contact Us page, called in with no one answering(sending me to voice mail) so I also submitted a ticket provided my order details, asking where my stuffs are and asking for shipping info, waited another 2 days, no reply. I am not the member(so glad I am not!!! never shop here again) of MUJI so the only way to cancel my order was through, again, submitting a "ticket" or call in. So I added my cancellation request to the ticket due to no responses. The next day(today, which is 10 days after placing the order ) I suddenly got reply from MUJI says my package is delivered by Fedex and provided tracking info. I followed the tracking on Fedex and it is showing "Shipment information sent to FedEx" - meaning they just initiate the shipping THIS MORNING!!! The ETA on Fedex is next Wednesday so is 16 days(comparing to 1 week per their check-out page) after placing the order assuming it arrives on time. So they disregarded my ticket request for days and only initiate shipping after I request for cancellation? Unfortunately due to the crazy lame customer service and lags on shipping I already ordered from another store and the other branded shop shipped my order and provided tracking right at the next day. I called MUJI again today and it's still sending me to voice mail, I left the message about my order. I will keep bugging MUJI until the order is cancelled and get refunded. Don't want to go through return mess if any way possible.

Muji is my aesthetic
Muji is my aesthetic. I love all of their stuff. Minimalist. Easy to the eye. Very functional. This review is for every Muji store I've been to in Asia and in the US. The staff are accommodating and wont bother you while you walk around to check their items out. When you call for help, they would help. Whenever I see a Muji store, even if I don't need anything, I can't resist but take a look. Their products always make my life easier.

I love Muji! I've ordered from their online store a lot and nothing had ever went wrong. Of course, covid delays but I'm patient. Shipping is kind of expensive and I wish they would offer a flat shipping rate or free shipping limit. The ship by weight is kind of outdated and can deter customers from ordering online. Wish they more things on their online store, their stores carry a lot more stock.
Their brick and morter shops are lovely! Love the one in Portland. Such nice staff and there's never a lot of people so it's nice to shop and walk.

Love their brick and mortar shops in the Bay Area. The stock could be better. I haven’t ordered anything online, so I can’t speak for that.
The shops are better in Asia of course. The stock in their stores is very low and their most popular items are the ones that are always in stock which make sense.

Nonexistent customer service. Purchased a humidifier, it broke within ten days. Emailed for a replacement, never received a reply. Do not purchase from this company.
0% customer service
Avoid ordering from this company! Online checkout doesn't send a confirmation, doesn't inform you of shipping company or policies, and you can expect silence from any attempt to contact their 'customer service' department. All around, I ordered a product three weeks ago, they had no problem taking my money, but there has been no communication and no products received. Again, avoid ordering online from this company!
Simple, well-made Japanese products
Muji offers simple, well-made Japanese products for your home. Everything is functional and pricing is reasonable. I've gone to the store on 40th in NYC, so I've only shopped in-store and not online. It's a fairly large store, sometimes not fully stocked. I've purchased housewares from Muji that I'm very happy with. Nice staff.
