I erroneously ordered for TV license change of address because they are advertising their site and it came on top.

After contacting customer service, I got full refund.

I believe, they are not scam.

Great idea for those who want to move all suppliers when moving home instead of calling them all, service was as expected needed some help and support chat was prompt and helpful thanks Mark

I completely misunderstood that i wasn't dealing directly with tv licensing and it cost me 16.50. I feel so stupid now

Scam website. Pretends to be the TV licencing site then charges you for a free service.

Obtained a refund via Paypal - so worth kicking up a fuss.

I fell for the scam, so I have requested a refund by e mail and also by chat and also through PaPal and I have reported the website to trading standards, lets see if I get my £16.50 back!!

Nearly got caught out by this site, changed all the details and then asked for £16.50 and transferred me to Paypal, it was then became suspicious and checked the address on my paper licence, thankfully i did not continue. Avoid at all costs please.

Would give zero stars as its what they deserve for taking money and not doing what you asked them to, infact they did nothing and they obv hope you will forget and not request a refund then they have made money. I was charged for the bills i requested movemy cancel a month ago. Now i probably can't get this bill money back. USELESS!!

I have no recollection of using this company but I obviously did. It’s a sly deceitful way of scamming money out of people. There is absolutely no service provided and I am rather ashamed of falling for it. I paid through pp and am going to see whether the are able to do anything.

This site is a scam do not use. Managed to get the payment stopped, if they try to get it again bank said it can be reported as fraud

I am reluctant to call this a scam, as it is providing a service, but it is a service that I can't imagine many people would choose to use and one that I would definitely not have chosen had I had my wits about me after a recent move.
In the company's defence, it did refund my £16.50 straight away when I made contact and quoted the terms and conditions.

I can only relate my personal experience - on 22 Mar 21 I completed a request for Movemy to action a change of address on my TV Licence. I thought I was completing the official TV licencing form but realised after completing the payment that I had made a mistake - actually my wife had already changed the address at no cost on the official TV licencing site. I emailed Movemy explaining the error. The following day Movemy emailed me offering a full refund which I received on 26 Mar 21. I felt I had been treated very fairly and am happy to compliment companies when praise is justified - it is too easy to criticise and forget the other side of the coin

I am ashamed to say that this is the first time I have fallen for a scam like this. Had a rant at my husband saying that they are now charging you to move your TV licence to another address. These people should be shut down!!!

Absolute rip off! Charged me twice -£16.50 😡😡😡

I too fell for this scam, even as I was saying "God,£16.50 to change TV licence address, that's ridiculous." I got refund through Paypal and contacted the bank, but I am anxiously checking my account every day for unusual activity. This website needs to be shut down.

I cannot believe they are allowed to get away with this. This is a free service, they provide no added value, if anything their service is more complex than the official FREE service offered for changing TV licensing. Have opened a PayPal dispute but DO NOT PAY

I can't believe I've been scammed by these thieves!!
Like others, I googled 'TV license change address' and these guys came up top of list. £16.50 paid over to them and nothing happened. I got a 'investigation' letter from TV licensing at my new address, and I dutifully filled in their form and copying them in with confirmation from Movemy. Then I got another letter saying an investigator was on thier way to my property. Then it clicked. I went back and checked my account...yes £16.50 was paid 2 months ago. Then I checked trust pilot. Go online to tvlicensing.co.uk where it's free to change your address.
You would think the genuine website would make sure it's No1 on google paid ads wouldn't you??
