The process took a lot longer than I've ever experienced. It was a Saturday so maybe they were low on staff but the after sales care (or lack of) is the reason for my rating. I attempted to call several times and sent emails as I'd left my house keys in the px. Did not get any help. Also sold me "premium" car mats but the quality is the same like £25 generic mats. Feel ripped off by my experience and this will probably be my last time buying from them.

Fairly quick to collect car once purchased, test drove when arrived and they sorted tax quickly

Had the make, model and colour car we wanted at a good price. The part exchange offer was also good. The whole process was simple and pleasant with knowledgeable and happy staff who communicated well.

This was my first time buying a car on my own so I wasn't really sure on how to go about things like this. But the staff at this branch have been exceptional. They answered all my questions, kept me in the loop with everything that was going on, and most of all helped me to get my dream car which was in immaculate condition. Excellent customer service and help with my car purchase during reservation period, on the day of checking the car and test drive, and collection. I’m very pleased with the car I bought, and my part exchange was also straightforward. All very smooth and clear, including the information for afterwards should I have any questions. My friend had recommended MOTORPOINT after using them to buy a nearly new car, I would also recommend having now had a great purchase experience.

I visited Motorpoint in Maidstone last weekend to look at a car I had seen on their website. When I arrived, a few cars caught my eye, and there was one in particular that I really liked. However, it didn’t quite have everything I was looking for.
That’s when Tina Southgate stepped in and looked after us incredibly well. She immediately understood exactly what I was looking for in a car and took the time to listen carefully. Tina quickly found another vehicle at a different Motorpoint site that ticked every single box for me. Her friendly, honest, and completely no-pressure approach made the whole experience feel relaxed and reassuring. It was clear that she genuinely listened and wanted to help us find the right car rather than just make a sale.
We reserved the car and returned this week to view it and take it for a test drive. Throughout the process, Tina kept us fully updated with excellent communication via emails and updates, which made everything smooth and stress-free.
When we arrived this week, the car we had reserved was waiting for us with a huge red bow on it, which was a lovely touch and made the moment feel really special. The car was exactly as described in the photos and absolutely immaculate both inside and out.
Tina was incredibly helpful, professional, and efficient throughout the entire process. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better car-buying experience. Thank you so much, Tina, for making everything so easy and enjoyable!

Not the best place to buy a car from. I was sent an email from TINA! Saying that my car was ready and if i collected it on that day i'd get my £149 deposit money back. Come to find out this goes towards the car. However, the main thing is that i added the PPF to my order, baring in mind this is £799, also i was told after signing the contract that the car needs a service. If your a sales person your trained and have been given this role in order to cater to customer needs and satisfaction, apart of this is knowing what your selling. When the receptionist asked TINA if the PPF had been applied to the car, she simply looked her colleague in the eye and said if its on the list then its been done, knowing that there should be a sticker placed in the vehicle showing that the work has been done. This info i found out from another Motorpoint more local to me. I took 2 trains a bus and a taxi, travelled over 1hr and 30mins, when i got there the lady at the counter did not know i was making my way and TINA is sitting across the room from her, to then be sold a car thats done 22k+ miles with no service history "in which i could of done my own research and questioned". But to be told this after signing my contract feels like "shady business" and to have someone "TINA" know that the PPF has not been fitted and to look her colleague in the eye and lie is terrible service, these are the type of employees that bring a whole company down because they are more happy to sell and hit a target then to actually do their job properly. Something like this is not a mistake, having read the reviews its not the first time this has been done to a customer, what if this was someones first car purchase? I do not think it would be a nice memory for them. Do not trust everything the staff in Maidstone tell you, bring someone that knows about cars or have a list of things to ask or look out for.

I purchased a new van from Motorpoint at a fantastic price a had to travel but it was definitely worth it. The young sales guy l dealt with was very polite I would definitely buy again from this company.

Got seen promptly, no hassle,staff made buying and part exchanging my car easy and wou!d like to thank everyone involved.

I was talked into things I did not want (dash camera) or need (high-interest loan). I accepted the warranty but was given to understand that the dash camera and floor mats were part of the "package". However, they were additional. They are keen to make a sale but the aftercare service is inadequate. Customer service is difficult to contact (approx 30 mins wait on the phone) and claims there is no complaint procedure and they have the final word. I would appreciate hearing from someone in a position of responsibility who is genuinely interested in dealing with customer complaints and issues and has the ability to deal with them.
An email is inadequate, as this will simply be another "brush-off". I want to speak to someone.
10 days have passed and I have still not heard from Motorpoint!!

I bought a vehicle from Motorpoint in June 2025, a Kia Niro, collected from Maidstone branch. My car now has a problem with the engine, l took my car to Kia for repairs. The years 2023&2024 became an issue as there is no stamping in vehicle service history book. Invoices, were provided, but since the service was carried out at a non Kia dealership, Kia wanted detailed invoices. I contacted the dealership that did the services for the required detailed invoices, which I received. The service between year 2023 and 2024, exceeded 10000 miles by 729 miles, thereby invalidating the Kia warranty. I contacted Motorpoint Maidstone, regarding this, they said they cannot help. I believe, the sale from Motorpoint, was not done in good faith. They should have informed me that the Kia warranty is invalidated, they l would have made an informed decision. Now, I have to get the car repaired, at my expense, which is really unfair and unfortunate in so many levels.
