I have purchase numerous cars from Motorpoint along with my children and grand children and have always received 1st class service.We went to the new store in Leeds on opening day and we were greeted by a young salesman Simon Hudson it was his first day and we found him extremely pleasant and helpful ,he answered all our questions and if he was unsure he found out what we needed to know .We purchased a vehicle but as we were away for a week ,picked it up on our return.Simon greeted us and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process .We had been his first customer and if he continues in the manner in which he treat us you will have a first class employee who will benefit to your company .a big well done to him and all the best for his future with you .10/10

We don't have on line banking so it was very difficult to pay as you don't have card reader otherwise everything went OK.

Caitlyn and Rania were super helpful, went above and beyond. Even though I wasn’t buying a car today the manager Caitlyn came outside to have a chat and gave as much advice/knowledge possible. Had an amazing experience would definitely recommend!

Edited to reflect the response: The manager did reach out to me and quickly offered to put the situation right. They offered to pay for a valet or for me to take it back store and do it there. I can’t fault them on the promptness to rectify the situation. Thanks

I recently purchased a car from the Leeds branch and was very disappointed with the condition it was in when I collected it.

The interior was extremely dirty, covered in what looked like red dust, and there was an unpleasant odour. While I understand this is a used vehicle, I expected it to be properly cleaned and prepared before handover, especially given the £30,000 price tag. I’ve since had to pay for a full valet myself, which shouldn’t have been necessary.

I raised this with staff at the time, and the car was taken away for what was described as a “clean”. Unfortunately, the condition after this was still poor, and I ended up driving away with it in that state.

There were also several scratches on both the paintwork and the leather interior. Some wear is expected with a used car, but these issues should either have been addressed or clearly pointed out beforehand.

Overall, the level of preparation fell well below expectations and took away from what should have been an exciting purchase. This is particularly disappointing given that the Leeds store has only recently opened, and I expected a much higher standard of presentation and customer service.

However, I will say that the guy who dealt with me was great. No issues there. He was polite and friendly and the buying side of things was easy. Shame the car was such a state. I’ve forwarded photos to the person I was dealing with in Derby.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously and improvements are made going forward.

Motorpoint offer a simple sales process. The Staff were friendly, helpful and fair in the discussions about the vehicle. My final valuation was reduced slightly but this was explained well and was an acceptable deduction.

We had a great experience at Motorpoint Leeds thanks to Alex. He was polite, and very knowledgeable throughout the whole process. He took the time to listen to what we needed, answered all of our questions clearly.

What really stood out was that he didn’t try push unnecessary extras, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and honest. We’d happily recommend Alex to anyone looking to buy a car. Thanks again for making everything so straightforward.
