Arrived today (18/05/2026) to test drive 2 cars and we had an appointment booked. On arrival our Salesman was busy dealing with another customer and we were asked to wait.

We went outside and spent approximately 10 minutes looking at the cars. We could see our car was still blocked in the courtyard and was dirty both inside and outside. I then went to see what was going on but our Salesman was still busy. Again we were asked to wait but this time I asked for a different Salesperson,

A lady started to take our details and I asked if they would repair any scratches or dints. The Lady said she could put a request in but that this would probably be rejected depending on age and mileage. When we commented that that may make a difference to whether or not we buy the car she suddenly stopped typing and looked at us. There was a pregnant pause after which I asked ” we could still test drive though?” and she agreed. She continued to take our details and we were asked to wait at the front of the showroom for the first car to be brought around.

Again, we waited 10 minutes and as there was no sign of the car I went to see what was going on. I walked into the courtyard to see the bonnet up on one of the cars we had chosen. The bonnet was quickly closed and the Salesman said that he couldn’t start either car and that there was a fault on one of them.

I expressed my dissatisfaction at the standard of service and his unprofessionalism. He was unapologetic saying that “it just happens like that sometimes”

I went to see the Manager who was little better and when I relayed the chronological events, he had no apology either. When asked for his thoughts he simply said he would speak to the Salesman.

I would strongly recommend anyone to avoid buying a buy a car from Motorpoint

Easy, straightforward process, car bought and driven off with within two hours.

I saw the car on Motorpoint online site. Went there an hour later and spoke to Ibrahim. He quickly sorted out my sitting in that car & offered a test drive. It had 1 mile on the clock and £8K off list price. Thrilled!!
I could have picked it up next day but chose 2 days later. They gave me a good price on my old car to part exchange and a check list of everything I would need to complete the deal. 2 days later I saw Lucas and everything was completed within an hour of walking back in there.
Kind, honest, efficient, respectful and friendly service from all concerned. Thank you Motorpoint, what's not to like.

Staff leave you alone and don't pressure you, helpful if you need anything, clean. Kurt who I dealt with explained everything clearly was very helpful. I don't think there is anything you could do to improve the service, keep doing what you do.

The 2 salemen,Harrison and Shaun were extremely polite ,knowledgeable and helpful.Theydid not pressurise us and gave us time to make our decision.The workplace is very relaxed but professional..

On arrival there was no pressure from staff whatsoever whilst we viewed the stock on the forecourts. Staff were only too happy to help and assist you with any cars you wished to view. Part exchange was a very good price. On collection of my car, Kurt was very helpful and made our experience of buying a new car stress free!

sell team was helpfull and was knowledgeable, answering all my questions and giving me time to think about my choices.
The only disapointment was the standard of the valet inside the car even though they was given 3 days between purchase and me picking it up

The complete experience was a pleasure having only ever purchased a vehicle from a main dealer. Ashton who dealt with us was a star.

Relaxed atmosphere without sales reps harassing you but always on hand to help. Plenty of choice.

I am very dissapointed with the quality of the vehicle matts i feel ripped off.

After my first car being refunded after less than two months of ownership due to £7000 of faults, I was offered a refund or an exchange. After accepting an exchange vehicle, a fault occurred on the dashboard after 23 hours stating an error with my hill assist. After 9 days my new car broke down and had to be recovered by Motorpoint's recovery service. After supplying photographic evidence of the fault as they occurred, They are refusing to refund me although the car has intermittent faults and has broken down. I am disabled and after 4 months of problems, I would not recommend Motorpoint.
The staff have always been helpful but their procedures for returning a car aren't legal as I am entitled to a refund on a faulty car within the first 30 days. They are now trying to get me to collect my faulty car and return their courtesy car.
I am currently still awaiting contact from Motorpoint on a resolution regarding the vehicle which has now shown 35 electric faults after a diagnostics test and the battery needs replacing.
This totally contradicts Motorpoint diagnostics and I'm still left with a vehicle that is dangerous to drive.

No fuss, very straightforward.
Cameron was extremely helpful.
I would recommend waiting until cars have been valeted before allowing customers to inspect them. Stale cigarette smells are not a great selling ooint for me.
