MossMania Dog Rescue Anmeldelser 

I have just recently been chosen to adopt a lovely dog from mossmania. Wright from the very start from filling out the adoption form to having a very friendly lady who is part of the mossmania team call me who helps with the foster or adopt process it wasn’t long before I was matched with one of the rescues dogs. I can’t not thank the rescue for allowing me to adopt. If anyone is thinking of adopting from mossmania rescue in Romania I highly praise this rescue who are there to not only offer support or answer any questions before adoption and also once you have adopted your dog. The rescue are there for life?

They do deliver your dog, but the condition my dog arrived in was appalling. She was covered in dried faeces and smelled absolutely horrible. It took two baths and an attempted haircut at home just to remove some of the smell. I then had to take her to a professional groomer to have her shaved completely because some of the faeces were matted into her coat close to the skin.

I have had rescue dogs delivered before by other organisations, including Daisy, my previous dog and Bobby and Betty- fosters, and none of them arrived filthy or smelling like this. Daisy in particular had also travelled a long distance as a rescue, yet she arrived clean and without this problem. So I do not accept that this was simply an inevitable part of transporting a rescue dog.

To charge £600 while handing over a dog in this condition is preposterous, particularly given the considerably lower veterinary and associated costs in Romania. (Yeah, I know the costs because my own cousin rescues dogs and she told me the money is peanuts to prepare a dog for adoption but they make profit cause the Westerners are gullible). Whatever that £600 was supposed to cover, I would expect basic hygiene and appropriate care before and during transport to be included.

I am very happy to have my dog and none of this reflects on her. My complaint is entirely about the organisation and the condition in which they handed her over. Based on my experience with other rescue organisations, this fell well below what I would consider an acceptable standard.

Plus I am now inundated with donation requests. Well, I think the donation was included in the £600 charged as prepping the dog is under £100.

The team are amazing! They did not turn me away because I have children like a lot of other rescues. I was ready to give up when someone mentioned MM to me and they gave me such an amazing an experience. Answered all of my questions no matter what tie of day I sent them. Was very quick to reply and kept me updated. They matched me with an amazing dog and after 8 months are still checking to see how things are going. I have been recommending them since and will use them again.

Fabulous rescue. Had videos & photos sent to me prior to adoption. They were very thorough with filling out application & video of my home & garden. Communication was second to none about transport. I would highly recommend Mossmania.

Very thorough preparations for adoption. Plenty of information and advice. Excellent communication.

Mossmania were different from the start. They spent a lot of time talking to me about myself and finding the right dog for me. The application process was very thorough. 3 years after I adopted the love of my life I am still in touch with them, fundraising and helping them in their work. They are always available if I need help and they put the dogs first.

I have fostered 13 dogs for Mossmania Dog Rescue in the last 3 years, two of which I have adopted. All such incredible dogs with lovely nature's. The adoption process is smooth and painless. The communication and aftercare is fantastic. There is also a wonderful private adopters group which is supportive, friendly and informative. Mossmania are always looking for foster homes for their gorgeous dogs and I urge everyone to offer help and give a dog a chance at life. 🥰🐕

We have adopted 6 gorgeous dogs from Mossmania and have always been happy with the experience. As other people have said, all communication is very clear, the transport over from Romania well organised (we were kept fully informed as to where they were and when they were arriving). There is also a great deal of support once you have your dog - there is always someone to help with any queries you may have. The Facebook group for owners is also full of lovely people sharing support and pride in their gorgeous pups!

I have had 5 rescue dogs from this rescue in the past few years
We started with our beautiful Kokoni Amber and our baby Bella who is a Westie impersonator , 2 years ago just before my 2 elderly dogs passed away.
We then got a call to foster a beautiful male shitzu called Ricky .we fell in love with him and quickly adopted him .we then agreed to emergency foster a little stressed abandoned boy who was 11 years old called him Alfie.he had massive guarding issues and is even now very insecure if he can’t find us in the house he panics
Just before Christmas last year we were heartbroken to lose little Ricky 🌈 and he left a big hole in our hearts .❤️
We then discussed with the rescue about who could fill the empty bed .we then agreed to foster Zena (originally Sweetie)she is a little ray of sunshine and keeps us entertained with her crazy antics
We adopted her within 2 weeks.
This rescue works so hard and tirelessly to provide 100% care and support for the dogs in their care

Feels like joining a family community with other adopters with loads of hints and valuable tips available either on line or just a phone call away .they fundraiser tirelessly to provide medical attention and a safe place and shelter for those poor unfortunate dogs who look death in the face every day out in the streets and kill shelters

We rescued rolo from romania 2yrs ago & never regretted it. Mossmania are so helpful kept you informed at all stages of the journey. Rolo was delivered to our door by a lovely driver with paperwork. Mossmania help doesnt stop there. They give full backup service for help & advice which is run by volunteers who are constantly trying to raise funds . Theres a mossmania adoption group for help & advice too. Cant rate them enough great from start till now long may they continue

I have fostered for Mossmania four times and adopted two of their lovely dogs. The volunteer team work reallt hard and make themselves very available, so communication is clear and easy, and paperwork all in order. They provide rescue back up and do their best for the dogs long after they arrive in the UK. Most importantly they are a team of volunteers who always put the dogs first.

Mossmania rescue is highly recommended by myself. My experience has been very positive throughout from first contact throughout.
I have a rescue dog obtained via Moss mania .I was very impressed with the whole process from the start, to when my dog was delivered to my home address.Also ongoing support and information very good communication throughout. A very caring and well run rescue organization from my experience with them .

We’ve had Tizzy for two years now and are so pleased we adopted her. The process was clearly explained and carried out professionally with excellent communication to keep us informed. The transport from Romania was spotlessly clean and the drivers were so gentle with her. We are so pleased that we adopted her and couldn’t recommend MossMania more highly.

We adopted Zeno in April 2023, the support we recieved from mossmania was fantastic he was already in a foster home and used to the uk. We then fostered Lyra (now Laney) in September 2023, she arrived straight from Romania and with lots of hard work and time she's adjusted to UK life we ended up adopting her too! Our experience was brilliant with plenty of support. The team at mossmania work so hard to give the dogs the best opportunities and save them from the streets. I would highly reccomend adopting or fostering through mossmania.
