Clearly some leadership issues judging by the poor customer service offered in York. Disinterested staff telling me what I wanted rather than listening to what I needed. Ended up ordering a shirt which I was told would arrive within a few days. A few days later I received an email telling me the order could not be fulfilled! Won’t use again.

I booked a Hire Sizing appointment for one person at Moss Bros. Canary Wharf. I was greeted by Nabia who was very friendly, helpful and professional. She walked me through the styles of tuxedos and the hire packages, took some measurements and left me to try everything on. It was all a great fit so she finalised the hire order with the measurements, took the payment and I was out the door. The whole process was efficient and comfortable, and the cost of the hire was reasonable. Overall I had a great experience at Moss Bros Canary Wharf thanks to Nabia.

I wanted to share some positive feedback. Blerina from your Westfield White City store is amazing. She was incredibly helpful and professional, even while the store was very busy.

I really hope she receives recognition for her hard work. Not only her, but everyone working so tirelessly on the front line deserves to be recognised.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Moss Bros.

I ordered a tie and paid extra for next-day delivery because I needed it urgently for my daughter’s funeral. This was not a casual purchase — it was something I needed at an incredibly painful and difficult time.

The delivery failed, and the tracking information was unclear, with the tracking number in the email even appearing to have a digit missing. I contacted DPD and was told the driver had difficulty reaching the house because of roadworks. I explained the diversion route and was told the driver would be sent back the same day, but this did not happen.

We have full CCTV at the property, not just a doorbell camera, and it clearly shows that no delivery was made. I had also not left the house for days due to the funeral getting closer, so I know the delivery was not missed in the way suggested.

What made the situation even worse was the lack of care and understanding from Moss Bros. At a time when I was grieving the loss of my daughter and preparing for her funeral, I was advised to knock on my neighbours’ doors to ask whether they had received my order. I found this completely inappropriate and deeply upsetting. I should not have been expected to go door to door asking neighbours about a failed delivery, especially during such a personal and painful time.

Rather than taking responsibility or resolving the issue quickly, the advice given was for me to travel into Oxford to collect a tie myself. This would have meant dealing with travel, congestion charges and expensive parking — all for an item I had already ordered and paid extra to receive by next-day delivery.

In the end, I had to order from NEXT instead, who were far more helpful and accommodating.

At a time when I was grieving the loss of my child and simply needed a tie for her funeral, Moss Bros added unnecessary stress and failed to provide the level of service, compassion or basic customer care I would expect from a company of their size.

Very poor delivery handling, poor communication, and a deeply disappointing lack of care from customer service.

Moss Bros was chosen as they had the colour and style of suit my son in law wanted for his wedding. The bridal party (some from overseas) came to be measured bur they did not have many suits to try on for fit. They did agree to hire. The price of each suit hire was more expensive than the bridesmaids dresses to buy! My husband asked if they could get a suit in his size to try, they said this was fine, he checked, we went back to the shop after confirming but when we arrived they didn’t have the suit at all! The shop is about a 45 minute trip from where we live, so we cannot just pop in. The week before the wedding, a phone call to say the suits were ready for collection so my husband goes back to the shop. The suit is actually a perfect fit but he can’t actually collect it until a couple of days before the wedding without paying an additional rental charge! Honestly, what do they think he is going to do with this suit? Are they going to an extra hire to someone else before the wedding?…

Poor customer service - no interest in dealing with a recent store issue.

Absolutely price gouging for rental of Ascot morning suit. I had to rent a suit for my son who was lucky enough to be invited by a fried to Ascot. Honestly thought they had given me the price to buy the suit. £269 for one days rental. I just paid not knowing if this was just the market price. Subsequently spoke to a friend who pointed me at other local shops who are renting exactly the same outfit for £120 all in. Moss Bros wouldn’t let me cancel my order or price match. They are a rip off. You have been warned.

I visited the Bromley store this morning to look for suits for my twin boys to attend my sisters wedding. Kerry was very helpful, let them choose the styles they were interested in and proceeded to have them try on items. She was very informative in sharing the possibilities of not getting the suits on time due to it being a very busy season.
Very good service, I will recommend this to family and friends.

My wife and I recently visited Moss Bros at Affinity Outlet, Fleetwood, to find outfits for several special occasions this summer, including my 70th birthday celebrations, our anniversary, and my wife's birthday.
The service we received was absolutely outstanding. We were looked after by a member of staff who spent well over two hours with us, offering advice, bringing different options to try, and helping me put together complete outfits. Nothing was too much trouble.
From chinos and shirts to jackets, T-shirts and shoes, he took the time to understand what I was looking for and helped me find clothes that not only fit well but looked great too. His knowledge, patience and attention to detail made the whole experience enjoyable and completely stress-free.
In an age when good customer service can be hard to find, this was a refreshing reminder of how shopping should be. I left with several outfits and a great deal of confidence for the celebrations ahead.
A huge thank you to the team at Moss Bros Fleetwood, and especially to the gentleman who looked after us so professionally. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for quality clothing and exceptional customer service.

We visited the Trafford Centre store on Tuesday 2nd June.
It was in the evening yet still super busy. Aradas (apologies if not spelt correct) was absolutely amazing.

His service was another level, super knowledgeable and pieced together a full tux for my partner, which looked amazing.
Although it was busy, we weren’t rushed and he took his time, collecting different items and sizes until the oulfit was perfect.
What a credit to Moss bros.

Reasonably priced and great quality too.
Highly recommend.

Do not be fooled, Moss Bros is not a suit hire shop! It is an overpriced suit shop that lures you in with the promise of suit hire..
I arrived at my 5pm appointment Colchester town centre branch 1st June 2026 15 minutes early. The counter assistant asked my name and then stated rudely that my appointment was for 3pm. Showing him my confirmation email with time clearly shown did not change his his opinion or attitude.
I was asked what I needed and I explained I had booked for a hire of black tie attire. “We definitely won’t have anything instant hire in your size sir” I am the most averaged size male in England 5’8” and 170lb.
What they could offer me was the shiniest cheap looking polyester jacket I have ever seen. A steal at a mere £180. I didn’t hang around to find out how much the trousers and shirt were going to cost. I promptly left and got jacket, trousers, shirt, belt and shoes at M&S for slightly more than the nasty jacket.
Moral of the story is Moss Bros makes its money from selling you overpriced tat when they definitely won’t have anything instant hire your size to hire sir

NO SUITS THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING.

After being incompetently measured by a member of staff, when the suits turned up only 2 out of 5 fitted. The contract we signed stated that, if suits didn’t fit, we’d get the replacements with next day delivery. What they DON’T tell you is that the warehouse that sends them is only open Monday to Friday. So no next day delivery for us and they told us that the suits would arrive the day before the wedding.
When that day arrived, we received an email at 11:30am from customer service (we were about to leave to go collect the suits) telling us that there had been a problem with shipping and the suits wouldn’t be there until the following day. OUR WEDDING DAY. No call. Nothing. And no answer from the Colchester store either when we, in a panic, tried to get in touch with them.
When we finally managed to speak with someone from customer service, one of their top solutions was for my fiancé to go pick them up from another store in the morning. As if that is an acceptable offer to ask the groom to drive to another city on the morning of the wedding doing their job for them when the ceremony starts at 12:30pm.
The situation was just about saved by a member of staff who had been pulling bits and bobs from other orders to find the items they needed for us. However, they still preferred to leave us in the dark instead of contacting us to say they were working on it.
Aside from all the issues we had with the Colchester store, Moss’ customer service is a joke. We got in touch with the customer service team after the wedding to ask for some kind of compensation. They said they’d look into it (almost implying that the problem wasn’t theirs all along) and that they’d be in touch within 72 hours. 11 DAYS it took them to actually grant us a reply.

Abysmal service, from start to finish. You’d think that paying all that money would help get the stress off of you rather than adding more on.

Bought my first tux today in Miss Bros Cheltenham, and was absolutely delighted with the experience. Sahil in particular worked incredibly hard with every aspect whilst being an entirely lovely person to speak to. He was very knowledgable and passionate and completely made the experience. Will definitely recommend the store to others because of him and the suits quality, he is an absolute credit to Moss Bros.

I'm a black male, I was wearing gym clothes. On entering Moss bro on Bromley high street, I was greeted with suspicion and funny looks, when I asked for help it's like the assistant didn't really want to help me, in fact they were quite rude. Quite Racist.

Moss Bros Croydon is possibly the worst shop I have been in to.

Staff have been rude and unhelpful on three seperate occasions now.

This is not the overall experience of Moss generally by the way, just this store!

Received our items was under the impression both kids suits would match as my partner brought his instore, but this wasn't the case. I believe I should of been inform this could of happen when buying the items. Was told Id have to look for the item myself at other stores and collect from them myself. DISGUSTING! No store within 50 miles have any.... Have been calling different store and nobody answering phone! as don't want to travel and waste my time if none available. Customer services no help, said If I send products back they believe the same would come again as they mentioned this was old store and cannot determine what stock would leave their warehouses. Also when asked "don't you provide store transfers" the reply was NO so have been left to sort this issue myself. Very disappointed!! Still no matching suits :(

Staff were helpful when I visited the store, but...
The website is hopeless; no ability to go back and amend once you're told your item(s) are unavailable.
To 'set up a hire' requires an(other) in-store visit, because there is no ability to take payment remotely. How ridiculous and archaic is that?
Staff member was quite rude when I asked about alternatives (of which there are none)
