Really friendly and a great unique experience.

Absolutely love this place! Packed full with oddity’s, curiosity’s and wonders from all over! No matter how many times I visit, I always find things I missed my last time there. Fab little shop at the back stocked with all things magical, witchy and spooky. I’ve been to many amazing witchy workshops here from Scrying circles to Kitchen Witchin’. Always the best welcome from Dave and I always look forward to my next visit!!

The saying goes that the best things often come in small packages and this is true of Morbitorium. An absolute treasure trove of the uniquely weird and wonderful. Dave is the perfect host, generous with his knowledge and stories. I'm usually not a fan of 'exit through giftshop' but our purchases are just the best. Go see, it's brilliant.

This was such a fabulous find.
So many weird and wonderful things to look at. We’re a home educating family and the owner was so friendly and helpful, letting the children pick the items up for closer looks and explaining how certain processes were done.
We came away with a resin encased spider and scorpion and a fascination with taxidermy!

I definetely recommand this shop. My order ( nice "Overlook Hotel" bookmarks :) ) was sent safely and quickly to my place in France.

I've always been fascinated by taxidermy, so was so excited when my sister got me a voucher for a taxidermy day for my birthday last year. Just been on the course today, and it was excellent! Dave is a really great teacher, very patient and explains everything really well. He really put me at ease trying such a unique, new skill, and I would feel confident having a go on my own now. I'm so pleased with the rat I made, and just all round had a brilliant day. The museum is fantastic too, so many incredible, interesting things to look at! Whether you just want to pop in for a look or book a course, I couldn't recommend the Morbitorium more.

I had a brilliant day learning how to do taxidermy with Dave. You get to learn the whole process from skinning and removing the insides to curing and finishing off with the end product. I have enough confidence now to try it out in my own and hopefully come up with a few fun ideas. We will definitely be back if you decide to go ahead with the Jackalope course!! Thanks again!

I brought a mummified heart from the Morbitorium Etsy page which I'm very happy with. I'd definitely recommend the products on their page to anyone with an interest in the macabre. The number 1 shop for curiosities.

Dave offers the perfect introduction to Taxidermy with his beginner classes. You learn everything from the frozen animal to the finished product, which you get to keep and take home. I had a great time and it's reassuring that I now know the process if I want to do it myself in the future too. Definitely recommend; either if you're interested in starting taxidermy as a hobby or you want the one-off experience. Also his shop and general oddities everywhere is fascinating, so it's worth the visit just for that - never thought I'd hold a mummified cat! Thanks

Such a great day out on the taxidermy course at Morbitorium. I was excited and a little apprehensive before I went but it totally lived up to my expectations. I chose a rabbit but we had a mix of animals in our group which was nice as it gave us an insight into preparing other animals should we wish in the future.
Dave was a spectacularly patient teacher and a great host.
I’d love to try a rat/mouse in the future and thanks to Dave’s down to Earth advice, I’d feel confident to do so.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a taster of a slightly different sort of craft course!

Somewhat to my surprise, I really enjoyed the day-long taxidermy basics course. Dave is a great tutor and coped brilliantly with our eccentric and extremely chatty group. He conveyed all the basics of taxidermy so that I would feel confident having a go at a solo project at home. Thank you!
