Great product and excellent service.
Communication from Montrose Rope and Sail was excellent, they were so easy to deal with. Before the cover was made, they asked me to send images of the furniture to ensure a perfect fit. I received the cover in good time and was well packaged.
The measurements are exact, and the cover fitted the furniture perfectly. I am very pleased with the material it looks and feels very strong in fact, far superior to the one that was ripped in several places (despite a non-rip guarantee).
This weekend it as done nothing but rain here on the holiday park and the wind has never let up. The cover is still in place, and I look forward to many years of its use.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company for its products and services.

Super work
Had a sofa cushion that had been ripped and the zip was burst, we couldn’t find anyone to fix it until I had contacted rope and sail. Pete was super helpful and Ritchey fixed it in no time and made it look good as new! Will definitely use them again.

Custom fit trailer cover
I made an enquiry to get a custom made trailer cover and Pete guided me through the process and advised on dimensions and when the cover arrived it fits the trailer like a glove and a good quality cover it is too, I would highly recommend Montrose rope and sail to anyone looking to use them.

First class service, price & products
Easy from start to finish. Ordered a unique product by email. Sales rep was straight on the phone clarifying finer details. I had it on my doorstep less than a week later. It’s perfect in every way, quality is superb, and all for a brilliant price. I thought I was going to be double. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone or order again.

Trailer Cover
Recently purchased a new piece of plant equipment and wanted to keep it as dry and clean as possible when towing behind the van. Sent over the measurements to Pete and the team designed it along with clear material over the trailer lights, and number plate so it can still be seen clearly in transit. Exceptional material quality and manufactured to the best standard. Very happy and will definitely use them again in the future.

Summerhouse tarpaulin
Excellent service from the team at Montrose Rope and sail. Ordered tarpaulin for summerhouse on Monday 8th January 2024. Was advised on Thursday 18th January 2024 that tarpaulin was ready to collect. Collected tarpaulin on Friday 19th January 2024 and fitted it the same day.

Excellent service and quality.
I have just received my second custom made trailer cover and it cant be faulted. Pete did a fantastic job ensuring that their team knew what I was needing and suggested options for the cover I hadn't considered. The size, fit, quality are all excellent and the delivery time was fantastic. I will definitely use their services again and highly recommend them.

Perfect service from start to finish
From start to finish Pete was great in helping me measure three items, Wooden/metal bench, wicker sofa and BBQ cover (that was a bit of a challenge with the measure but the fit is perfect, the quality is excellent and will last a long time, far better than buying off the shelf covers that the quality is not half as good.
Items were made within in a week and ready for my collection, and Graham very kindly stitched a strap on my husband travel bag

Tarp for Trailer
Needed a replacement tarp for my single axle trailer- old one made by Montrose Rope and Sail was still functional (13 years old) but just a little faded so got a replacement- great quality service, product and staff couldn’t be more helpful- very reasonable charge- quality firm with quality products
