You sell overpriced stuff that’s not worth the money. 2021 type 1, 1/10oz gold American eagles FDI ms 70 signed.$1500 for 3 coins, 2 yrs ago. NOT Worth it. Gold was $2000oz, now it’s $2930. Can’t sell it for what I paid for it. Overpriced from the gecko.

I purchased 5 gold coins from MCM on Ebay they accepted and processed my order and charged my card. The next day I found that they had unilaterally cancelled my order and refunded me. The problem was I wanted them to honor the order. When I contacted them they said the order was cancelled due to an "internal error" and said that the item was "out of stock." However, the same item was for sale the next day however the price had gone up $53/coin for a total increase on the order of $265. When I said they needed to honor the price at which they sold the coins to me, they told me they have the right to cancel any order. I told them that any retail store that advertised and sold something to you under that advertised price would have to sell it at that price. They said not us.
I asked to talk to a Manager and talked with Melissa who initially said that she would give me $10 off the new order (and increase of $265). I said no and that they needed to honor the price. I then asked to talk to her manager and she would not let forward me. She did promise to talk with them and call me back the next day at 2PM. 2PM came and went so I called her and she gave me a half hearted sorry about missing the scheduled call back and then offered me a whopping $25 off the increased price (again a $265 increase). I told he that wasn't going to cut it and was going to let her know that I was going to let everyone know this company has no ethics.
I warn you not to purchase from this company, they are slimy at best and certainly unethical in their business practices. I will never purchase from them again.

THE COINS ARE FAKE!!! I had them tested (weight, etc) and they are just coated in silver, they are not solid silver.
I have tried to return merchandize for months now, (email, smail, telephone...) and no one will answer or offer an actual return address after getting my PayPal money. CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!

Modern Coin Mart has some pretty cool coins. I bought a couple and am very pleased with them. I saw a coin advertised on their Instagram page and could not find it on the website so I posted a comment regarding that. Instead of being directed to the item on the website or being told it's not available the only response I received to my comment post was a "like". Would have been better to get a reply since I was interested in buying that particular coin. I found it for sale on a competitor website when I didn't get a response. Overall I like their selection.

I am not sure about the people who were complaining, but personally, I have never had any issues with modern coin. I buy from all the major retail companies, and I can honestly say that I never have any issues with any of them. I find it nice to be able to buy from them all since each company has a different variety of bullion and coins to choose from. Every company delivers the product purchased on time and help track the items purchased while in transit. I will continue to purchase select items from Modern Coin.

Placed order by phone on July 25 and had check in the mail the same day. Today, Aug 15 they tell me they just received the check and when I complained, the person hung up on me. No raised voice or profanity. I can only hope they honor their commitment and ship the item I ordered.

Made a 600 plus dollar order on july 27 2022 and have not heard nothing by august 12 2022 but excuses about new web site bla bla bla. I cannot even access my account anymore and they are not even answering the phone now...FN PO

Would not use this service. Plenty of fakes from here have been sent out. Will NEVER buy anything from here again. I bet all the "good reviews" are just them trying to make themselves look good.

I just wanted to tell people about the wonderful customer service I had got from a fantastic company. You can tell this company puts customer care as the highest priority. This is so refreshing.

I placed an order on their website for two coins. These had the best prices I had seen and are very well established and trusted company.

Sadly, I had an issue with the courier losing the parcel. This was frustrating for me especially as I had paid $39 for ups expedited worldwide shipping.

UPS were no help to me at all often ignored my emails. Ignored my messages on messenger and hung up my phone call. I was very annoyed. I could not do anything else.

I contacted MCM and explained the situation to them. They were very understanding and sorry that this had happened. Although UPS losing my parcel is not their fault, they sent replacements out and refunded the shipping cost to me. Once again UPS failed to deliver the parcel containing my replacements. I contacted UPS again and they ignored me once more when i reached out for support.

So back to contacting MCM again and they were very sorry that this had happened for a 2nd time. They were determined to see that i got the order I placed. However, they went one step further then just sending new replacements with UPS they did something wonderful. They sent upgraded version of the coins I ordered at no extra cost. They shipped these to me for free using FedEx on a Friday evening (US time) and they arrived in the UK the following Monday morning at 7:50am perfectly.

The customer service I got was the best I have gotten to date. They really went above and beyond to make sure that I had the best possible experience I could have using their services.

Their emails support team worked around the clock trying to contact UPS too to find the missing packages and provide me updates when they could. The social media team also went above and beyond too to ensure the best outcome for me the customer.

Apart from the company having amazing prices and an amazing inventory of coins they also have exceptional people working for them. Not only working hard for the company but also working had for us customers. I can't thank them enough.

I did return one coin for a full refund but otherwise I have experienced outstanding service especially from the Scarce and Unique Division. Personal service above and beyond. The refund happened very fast, I was surprised how fast. I would have rather had a replacement but because of inventory and fluctuating markets I was offered a refund. Because of MCM I now have an outstanding collection that I do enjoy. I'm so excided about where the new minting technology is going. Designs we thought never possible are now possible. Technology is pushing the limits and giving us remarkable new coins. Thank you again for doing a great job.

Ordered some silver pre sale coins on jan 15, 2020 they mentioned that it will be shipped after jan 20 , then after that date passed I contacted them asking if my order got shipped they said there was a delay and then couple of days after they said they have a mistake and they have to cancel most of my order which because of shipping cost it raised the cost of the rest of my order a lot so I canceled the whole order and so far I only got half of my money back waiting for the rest of it , this company make me loose at least 15 dollars for conversion rates plus i lost the spot price opportunity cause it went up after, basically i had a really bad experience with them, be careful when dealing with them they made me loose a good amount of money and my time

Modern Coin Mart deserves too be in the top 5 of PM sites you do business with . One of the very few that advertises free shipping & it's actually free . Most Precious Metal sites that say free shipping have a minimum amount you will have to purchase & that is usually one hundred dollars or more. MCM has no minimums you have to meet before the free shipping kicks in . In most instances when you compare the exact same product MCM will come out the clear winner & be less expensive . I've been ordering from them since 2013 & have placed over forty orders with out a single problem . On top of that you will receive your products quickly & as advertised . If it's stated a coin is BU then that's what you get . Also the site is very user friendly & fast . As I've mentioned before I purchase from over 30 sites & some are so slow it gets frustrating .
