This platform is really deceptive about the expected interest for investors.
Before you click on the button to create a growth vault (sort of portfolio), you see a forecast interest of 9.5 - 11%, and it's only after you have committed the money that you see an expected percentage of only  7.5 - 9.5 ! And in the end, after one year, you don't know what the final return will be, it will be "based on the market" as they say. This is not fair, neither transparent !

Unlawful discrimination based on place of birth for an EU citizen

I am writing this review to raise awareness about the discriminatory KYC/AML verification practices enforced by Modena.

I am an EU citizen with Spanish nationality and official Spanish documentation (DNI). Despite providing my valid government-issued ID, Modena rejected my account application solely because my place of birth is outside the European Union, claiming I did not meet their Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.

When I challenged this decision, their compliance team simply responded that "each platform may have its own eligibility and compliance requirements";

Using compliance as a blanket justification for arbitrary exclusion based on origin is both unacceptable and legally questionable within the EU regulatory framework:

1. Violation of Non-Discrimination Principles: Under Article 21 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and Directive 2006/123/EC, refusing service to an EU national and Spanish resident purely based on place of birth constitutes direct discrimination based on origin.

2. Misapplication of AML/KYC Directives: EU Anti-Money Laundering Directives (AMLD) mandate individualized risk assessments based on objective criteria—such as tax residency, source of funds, or official PEP/sanctions lists—not systematic blockades based on a citizen's birthplace.

Denying financial access to an EU citizen who fully complies with residency and identification laws sets a concerning precedent. I demand a formal review of my file by Modena's Chief Compliance Officer and an immediate correction of this discriminatory policy.
