Highly recommend
We used Mark Lohan kitchens for our new build and had our kitchen, boot room and living room units fitted and we could not be happier with the service, process and end result. Our designer Gordon never rushed us and was so patient. He took on board our ideas and made them into our perfect kitchen.
Without exception the first thing anyone mentions in our house are the units. We are beyond delighted to have used MLK and would recommend them to anyone.

Great experience
We recently had our kitchen designed and installed by MLK, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. The design process was incredibly professional and collaborative. Our designer Sean took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, offered creative ideas, and guided us through every decision with patience and expertise. MLK fitted out our TV unit,office and walk in wardrobe. Nothing was too much trouble with the design phase and what I liked most was their honesty re:installation times. Nothing worse than getting the run around time wise-MLK did not do this. Great experience.

Disappointing aftercare
We had our kitchen designed and fitted by this company in December 2022. At the time, we were happy with the design and overall finish.
Unfortunately, the aftercare has been extremely disappointing. When a minor issue arose with the worktop edging, we contacted them for assistance and found the whole process frustrating and unhelpful.
We were asked to resend information multiple times, received very little guidance, and the interaction over the phone was not particularly helpful. Despite offering to pay a callout fee just to have the issue resolved properly, we were quoted €500 for what is, by any standard, a small repair.
After spending €11,000 on a kitchen, it’s very disappointing to feel that once payment is made, customer support effectively ends.
If you’re considering using this company, just be aware that while the initial installation may be fine, you may struggle to get any support afterwards.

We’re pleased to hear that you were happy with your kitchen design and overall finish following installation in 2022 — that is always our primary objective, and it’s important to acknowledge that your project was successfully delivered to that standard.
In relation to the issue raised, this concerned a section of laminate edging which had broken off, and which was then removed in its entirety.
We did engage with your enquiry and requested additional information to locate your project details and assess the issue correctly. We regret if this process felt repetitive or frustrating, however it was necessary to ensure we could provide an informed and accurate response. In doing so, we offered to arrange for one of our qualified fitters to carry out the repair, should you wish to proceed, and this option remains available.
With regard to the cost indicated, this reflects the requirement to allocate a qualified fitter, along with associated time and travel. While we understand your view that this appears to be a small repair, the logistics involved in carrying out works of this nature are not always proportionate to the size of the issue itself.
We are sorry that this experience has left you feeling disappointed, as it was certainly not our intention. We remain committed to delivering a high standard of service and will take your feedback on board.

I first visited MLK in Roscommon. We received a very warm welcome from the receptionist. On overhearing my mum mentioning how disappointed she was that the local coffee shop was closed. She immediately offered us a coffee and biscuits. This attention to detail and care never waivered throughout our journey with MLK.
Our first interaction with this Irish company and its designers and craftspeople which are graduates trained in the renowned Letterfrack College consolidated my decision to choose them to create our dream kitchen.
As I live in Galway we continued our design meeting in their new showroom.
There is such a wide range of kitchens to chose from. They also designed around your budget.
I really wanted an inframed kitchen and I was shown different designed options.
Breadan our designer was incredibly professional and equally patience with me!
He went above and beyond to see my vision. So enormous thank you to him.
What started off with just wanting a kitchen, we ended up putting in a built in bar and shelving units and a fitted utility room.
MLK and the wonderful Sinèad regularly kept us informed and scheduled us a date for fitting.
The talented kitchen fitter arrived and over a period of three days. He skillfully crafted our new kitchen .
It is an absolute pleasure to review this company. I also have recommended my friends and family. More recently they have completed work for my sister in Co. Meath.

AVOID at all costs
AVOID: Shocking service and constant delays.
We chose this company based on their showroom, but once the deposit was paid, the professional service vanished. We have been left with an unfinished utility room and kitchen with no clear timeline for completion.
Instead of actually doing the work, the company has spent weeks "gaslighting" us with vague excuses and "internal meetings" .
In my opinion, completely understaffed for what they are trying to do. This lack of execution has caused a total mess with our other trades and ongoing project delays.
Poor product also. Flatpack quality at high end prices. They are very quick to sign you up and take your money, but they have zero interest in actually delivering the service promised. Save yourself the stress and the money—please look elsewhere.

We are extremely disappointed to read your review, as it is a significant misrepresentation of the facts of this project and does not reflect the level of service delivered.
Your kitchen was fully completed to specification, on time, and without issue. The only outstanding element relates to your utility room.
From the outset, we worked to accommodate your requirements. Your project was delivered within agreed lead times, and we facilitated a specific delivery date at your request, outside of standard scheduling, to align with your availability.
A site survey of your kitchen and utility space was carried out in advance to verify measurements and identify any constraints, ensuring the design could be finalised and signed off correctly prior to manufacture.
Following the survey, additional elements — specifically an expansion vessel — were introduced, which fundamentally altered the available space and rendered the signed-off design and manufactured cabinetry unworkable, and this change, along with its impact on the space, was not communicated to us at any point prior to installation. This only became apparent at the point of installation.
When our installer moved from fitting your kitchen to the utility, the area was not in a workable condition, with a plumber actively working within the confined space, including accessing the loft via a step ladder positioned centrally in the room. As a result, our fitter was unable to proceed and was required to leave site on March 2nd. This caused disruption to our scheduling.
However, we accommodated this and arranged a return visit one week later to allow for all associated plumbing works to be completed. Upon returning to site, it became clear that additional pipework associated with the air-to-water system had been introduced, which rendered the original design no longer viable and the manufactured cabinetry unable to be installed as intended.
At this stage, the utility cabinetry had already been fully manufactured based on the agreed design. Rather than attempting to adapt this cabinetry, we undertook a full redesign of the utility at our own time and cost to properly accommodate these changes and ensure a solution that is correctly designed for your space.
Since then, progress has been dependent on finalising the updated design. Multiple revised layouts have been issued by our designer; however, ongoing requests for further changes — including after drawings had been agreed — have prevented final sign-off.
Most recently, the revised design was signed off by you with the designer on Friday, March 20th; however, further amendment requests were submitted again the following day, requiring further design refinement and resetting the sign-off process. As is standard with all bespoke projects, manufacturing cannot proceed without confirmed approval.
We have been in a position to proceed for some time, pending final design confirmation, and remain fully committed to completing your utility room once this is in place.
We have gone above and beyond throughout this project and continue to do so to ensure you receive a fully completed utility; however, at this stage, we await your final confirmation in order to proceed, and until this is received, we are unable to move forward.
At Mark Lohan Kitchens, we take full accountability when issues arise and work proactively with our clients to resolve them. With over 23 years of experience designing and delivering bespoke kitchens and cabinetry, this commitment is reflected across the projects we deliver and the standards we uphold for every client. On this occasion, the circumstances were not of our making, and from the outset we have been consistently accommodating in our approach to progressing your project, including absorbing associated costs and disruption. However, your review is a wholly unfair and inaccurate reflection of the situation and is not representative of the facts or the level of service delivered.

We absolutely love our new Kitchen and Utility from Mark Lohan Kitchens! From the design process to the installation, it was a great experience and we knew we were in good hands along the way.
The team were amazing to deal with and were very helpful especially when it came answering any questions and queries we had no matter how big or small. The end result was fantastic and we couldn't be happier.
Would highly recommend!

Super service. Superb Kitchen
I couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen! From the very beginning, the MLK team were professional, attentive, and full of great ideas that really made the most of our space. The customer service was outstanding – every question we had was answered quickly and clearly, and nothing ever felt too much trouble.
The quality of the kitchen, utility, tv unit and walk in wardrobe itself is superb, with every detail finished to the highest standard. The fitting was carried out with precision and care, and the whole process was smooth, tidy, and stress-free. The craftsmanship is top class.
I would highly recommend MLk to anyone looking for a high-quality kitchen and a team you can fully trust from start to finish.
