We all introduced ourselves and immediately started talking. The normal conversation at first and than it just became effortless, the conversation easily flowed from topic to topic among the entire group.

The experience in general was very positive. I felt a bit anxious before attending since I’m not really into talking to strangers, but once you get there and start meeting people, you forget about what was worrying you and start having a good time and join the conversation like everyone else. Definitely a good way to meet people!!!

The guests were all polite and there was a wonderful give and take among the group. I felt very comfortable around everyone and appreciate how they shared their stories.

The website is well organized. I didn't like some things about it, though. The restaurants were always in the same general part of town instead of throughout the city. They were always high end. And you had to commit to date without knowing where in the city it was or what kind of food it was. It would make a lot more sense to list say 3 restaurants for a certain date in different parts of the city and then you could chose based on convenience and preference. Also, after the dinner you have to rate each person who you dined with. There are three choices, something like "didn't like", "neutral", and "liked". If both you and the other person don't put "liked", you won't get each other's contact information. There is no point in differentiating between "don't like" and "neutral". The should just have "want to share contact information" or "don't want to share contact information".

That’s the second time I go on a group dinner with 70 year olds. Im 28. They’re in their 60s-70s.

Good company, great conversations, good interactions with a diverse group of people.

The group as a whole meshed well, evening conversing with everyone else. The food was good, the service not bad. Did not like being forced to share a bill with another person.

The group was very well matched to my lifestyle and interests. The guys were interested in me but not nosy. There was no stressful need to perform. The venue was great for a quiet get-together, with nice ambience and food. I plan to do this a lot.

Well, I was anxious before the meeting, not knowing what to expect since this was my first time. I kept an open mind and initially met two individuals when I came into the restaurant. These first two individuals I felt a good connection. A third man came in and I felt negativity. The fourth man was slightly late and a fifth man came in 45 minutes late, stating he ran into traffic. Conversation was light but steady. Most of the group stay in excess of two hours. Loved the atmosphere, food and service. Kudos to Mingleo. Great first experience.

I have been running a gay/bi men's meetup.com group for 4 years- Sacramento Gay Men's Events. We usually have 20+ events. I have lived in Sacramento since 1967. I thought no I don't need to sign up with mingleo because I already know the gay/bi men in Sacramento worth knowing. I was WRONG. Not only have I recruited some great guys into my meetup group I'm getting to know men in my age group I've never yet to cross paths. I see now about 8 or 10 guys now members that I told about the mingleo dinners.

Last night was my first Mingleo event. The location was great, perfect for conversation. The people at my table were of different life backgrounds, ethnicities, and careers all in similar places in their lives looking for friendship and conversation. The conversation was engaging and the entire experience was low-stress. It's nice to have a place where the gay community can engage outside of 'apps', where we might engage with people in similar places in their lives looking for connection. I had a great evening, and I'll be doing it again.

Last night was only my second meeting. The first one the restaurant was way too loud, but last night was great. Good food and we were able to sit where we could have easy conversation. It worked out great because only two of us showed up. We were able to sit and just talk about a variety of topics.

It’s enjoyable meeting new people for dinner. It’s fun going to places I would not normally go to by myself. Occasionally they have a last minute change of venue because lat minute cancels from guests but in Montreal everything is close soneasuntonget to other venue.

To start the venue was absolutely beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious. The group that was collated was such a beautiful arrangement of different ethnicities, backgrounds, careers, ages and interests. This is my first time and I really would recommend anyone to give this go and open your eyes to a brand new experience.

The conversations flowed, the laughter was plenty and the company was eclectic. I will definitely be booking another experience in the near future as this was such a welcome escape/relief from the routine of my life as it currently stands.
