I ordered two books from Made in Japan - “One Hundred Famous Views of Edo” and “The Sixty-Nine Stations along the Kisokaidō”. I didn’t ask for next-day delivery, but the items came the next day anyway... Se mere
Ordered a replacement for a plate I had inexplicably chipped. MIJ crockery is so durable, I never thought it possible! My new plate arrived so quickly, excellent service as ever.

Exceptional product and delivery speed.
Exceptional delivery speed.
Order on the 29th June 2026. The item, (a 28cm Carbon Steel Wok) had arrived by the morning of the 30th June 2026.
The packaged was well wrapped with plenty of packaging. Nice touch with the Japanese newspaper. Clear instructions on care coukd be found via a QR code set out in a very easy to understand way.
Now the product itself was well made and clearly shown as being made in Japan, unlike other companies which will use cheaper Chinese version of this style of wok.
As an ex chef, quality is everything, so I will put a review on after I have actually seasoned and used the wok. I am sure it will be postive.
Also I am happy that I am supporting a small British company which have contact details if there are any problems, which is always reassuring.
In conclusion the products sold by Made in Japan are not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive I have seen. But as yhe saying goes pay for what you get. I personally would rather pay a bit more to get a product that will last.

Hori Hori
I received a Hori Hori for a present and initially I was not too sure about it. Having used it I now would not want to be without it. Brilliant gardening tool. I recently bought one for a family member and found the staff at Made in Japan extremely helpful and they responded quickly to messages and emails.

Iron Egg Roll Pan 9.5 x 15cm
Arrived in a timely fashion, well packaged with nice personalised and characteristic additions. The pan is sturdy and well crafted, and cooks really nicely. I'm super happy I got this and not a cheap coated one. Now, I just have to master the art of tamagyoki.
