Health check up experience
The clinic was very clean, tidy and looked very welcoming. The staff greeted me as I walked towards reception and they were very helpful with my requests. That doctor that conducted my tests was very professional, clear and answered any questions I had. A very pleasant experience - I went in for the gold package health check up.

Really lovely health check-up. The reception team are really friendly and Mike (I think that was his name), the HCA that took my bloods was excellent. He took his time and it was a painless, friendly experience.

Excellent response, when I phoned them on a Saturday morning.
Managed to give Me a slot- at 85 GBP for 15 minutes consultation, within 1 HOUR!! When the NHS needed 2 days or more just to register Me at a local GP! SO, that was great.
Doctor was sooo kind and caring. Very impressed. Prescribed blood pressure reduing tablets and anti-biotics within 15 minutes. Did a thorough job!
Very plesant sugery and staff! Exceedingly and wonderfully-refreshingly polite!
UNfornutely, I am on Universal Credit, so that 85 GBP + taxi+ medicine costs(non NHS prescription) meant £130 cost, that day. SO, prices could be lower, would be My suggestion, esp. for simple issues such as Chest infection or high blood pressure.

Several steps beyond the NHS
After visiting a so called consultant in the NHS for a blocked eardrum I was given the impression that I was wasting his time and should just live with it. I then contacted Midland Health for a private consultation and was impressed by the totality professional and knowledgeable Mr Fussey. He explained everything and suggested a way forward. I highly recommend this organisation.

Excellent clinical services, when you need to see a doctor promptly and timely explain your symptoms and concerns. Great service from Dr. Wright who, not only dealt with my reported symptoms, but who also was attentive and genuinely cared about my health as a whole. ADHD Assessment
Went for an ADHD assessment as I was getting so lost and bogged down by waiting times, then within a day I had an answer and a time slot which was in reach.
Then I met Dr Rostamipour, I was more nervous on this day than my own wedding but Dr Rostamipour was calm in his demeanour and got straight to work. No messing about and straight to the point, as he told me, "You want to get on with life and get the most out of it, I want you to succeed"
Since then I've taken leaps and bounds with the help of medication and the guidance I had. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone at Midland Health.

No results from ordered tests
I attended Midlands Health with my son trying to expedite the blood tests requested by the NHS GP, as he is currently unwell. We were seen on Saturday 05/10/2024, and told results would be back within 1 - 2 working days, and a follow up appointment was booked for Tuesday 08/10/2024. No blood results on Tuesday when I called, so the appointment was rescheduled to Thursday 10/10/2024, but no results on the bloods, or the swabs, taken 5 days ago. There has been no communication as to why results may be delayed, or any concern shown that these were tests ordered for an unwell child. Not only has the service severely fallen short on what was promised - it simply wasn't delivered. I paid for tests, and received no results.

The BEST possible medical service
I could not have had a better service anywhere than we received with Dr Thaker at Midland Health in Edgbaston. My 11-year old son had been extremely ill for 2.5 weeks, with no decisive action by any of the 5 GPs we saw prior to this appointment. Dr Thaker was incredibly kind and extremely thorough. She took so much time to examine our son and her diagnosis and recommended medication has finally helped him feel better. It was a highly anxious time as our son’s illness coincided with starting secondary school. Dr Thaker has resolved this brilliantly: our son is getting back to good health and we have the utmost faith in Midland Health. It was lovely clinic and we will definitely go again if we need to.

My appointment was at the Birmingham clinic.
All I can say is it was ok. Apart from the nice looking premises, everything else is off. Paid a hell of a price for a rushed experience. I got there early to account for any parking issues. As soon as I stepped in, I was literally rushed onto the bed, as if to say ‘you’re here early, great let’s get you out the way’. Like a conveyer-belt. For this type of service at the price I paid, I expect to be made to feel a bit more comfortable. Maybe explain what we are to expect before you slam dunk us onto the bed & get going. Put yourselves in our shoes. You may do this everyday but this may be our 1st experience of a scan. Slow down, help us to understand what to expect, take pride in your work & make us feel comfortable. Or take your prices down to account for the rushed, conveyor-belt-like service. Another thing is, I had to chase for the report which (ironically) took longer than expected to come. All a bit backwards really. Might as well have been in an NHS environment.

We understand you had travelled a considerable distance to attend your appointment, and while a drink was offered upon your arrival, we recognise that you had your own. During the appointment, Tiffany, our sonographer, took a full history to understand your symptoms and aimed to complete the scan as efficiently as possible due to the discomfort you experienced during the procedure.
We are also aware that the length of the appointment was shorter than you anticipated. While we allow up to 30 minutes for ultrasound scans, the duration can vary depending on the findings. In your case, the scan was completed in a shorter timeframe due to the nature of the results.
Please know that we take your feedback seriously and will use it to improve our service. We have asked our sonographers to ensure they take the time to explain the process and share details on how reports will be communicated after being reviewed by GPs.
Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused, and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss your experience further if you'd like. We hope to provide a better experience in the future.

Went with dizzy head and sudden hearing loss
Went to see me amit palmer with a ear problem. Best "ent"doctor ever new his job diagnosed problem which is more than the hospital did. Recommend him strongly would see him again. Mrs Vanessa Underhill visit on the 12 September 2024.
