I am pleased to say that MH have now agreed to refund the advance consultation fee.

Where to start?
After extensive emails and phone calls regarding the service we required we arranged an appointment for consultation.
Using the location link provided in the appointment email we arrived in Edgbaston shortly before the appointed time dropped off my wife and searched for somewhere to park. My wife rang me to say the receptionist had no details and then that we were at the wrong Midland Medical address.
We rushed over to the Ladywood address (with parking) and met the doctor allocated. After so much conversation and correspondence we were surprised to be asked what we were needing his assistance with.
We wanted a medical report about long term injury to support an industrial injury claim. Having been required to pay for the consultation in advance we were shocked to be politely informed by the Doctor that he was unable to provide that unless instructed by a solicitor?
Having wasted half a day travelling to/from the abortive appointment we wrote to request a refund of the fee for the consultation we had requested and failed to receive.
Midland Medical say they are reviewing our 'complaint' and will respond in 14 days!
Perhaps we were just unlucky but we are not overly impressed with Midland Medical so far 🤷‍♂️😕

I had my very first laser eye treatment today, for dry eyes. Emma, the wonderful lady, who did the consultation, and laser treatment for me,I found so professional, as she explained every aspect of the procedure, and also made me feel very calm throughout.

Warm welcome on arrival. All the staff very friendly and professional. Couldn’t fault the service.

We saw Dr Minnie Joseph with my 15yr old daughter who was struggling with server anxiety unable to attend school Dr Joseph was excellent and engaged well 3wks into treatment and I'm seeing a great improvement thankyou

I don’t like blood tests but Verona was lovely and put me at ease and made the experience less stressful .

The Doctor was also very attentive and professional but I cannot remember her name.

We saw Dr Minnie Joesph with my 12 year old daughter who has been struggling for many months with her mental health. Dr Joseph was able to engage my daughter and enabled her to open up and express her main challenges. She was warm, engaging and pointed using the right direction with treatment. We now have a child who is on her way to much improved mental health and cannot thank her and Midland Health enough!

Dr Alina listened to me attentively. She is extremely insightful and very knowledgeable in her field. She reassured me of my concerns; and she made it very clear that although FND can be considered psychologically driven its physical impacts are real therefore it’s also falls under neurological conditions.

In my recent experience I have been made to feel like I am a ‘quack’ by many doctors. Not this time!

I have decided to continue working with Dr Alina to deep dive and search for solutions to my problems. Alongside working with her direction to find support for the physical symptoms associated with this condition.

When my child’s OCD was at its absolute peak, I honestly did not know where to turn. Like most parents, I was very reluctant to medicate my 13-year-old and found the decision incredibly daunting.

From the moment we met Dr Minnie Joseph at Midlands Health, it was clear we were in expert hands. Her 35 years of experience shows immediately in her knowledge, professionalism, and calm, reassuring manner. She took the time to listen carefully, explain the options clearly, and guide us through each step with confidence and care.

Most importantly, she truly understood my child. Thanks to her treatment and ongoing support, my child is now making a real and meaningful recovery, something that once felt out of reach.

I cannot thank Dr Joseph and Midlands Health enough. If you are a parent feeling worried, uncertain, or unsure where to turn, I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Had a private ADHD assessment for my son with Dr Minnie Jospeh.

The booking process and wait times are excellent, the whole process from enquiring to assessment took around 2 weeks. The booking staff are friendly and helpful, without being pushy.

Dr Jospeh was very thorough, kind and empathetic. I would highly recommend her to any parent looking for a private assessment. I will be using her again for an ASD assessment.

I had a fantastic, thorough, understanding and empathetic consultation with Dr Minnie Joseph.

Francis Road clinic was easy to find with good on site parking, Reception were very welcoming. Dr Manfredonia was very reassuring, inspiring confidence right from the start. In around 50 minutes he gave me a very thorough checkup, at all times listening carefully to the symptoms I described. By the time we finished I had a clear understanding of the way forward including the further diagnostic tests he wished to conduct. The referral was by Dr Sarah Wright, who I saw at the Highfield Road clinic on 29/12/2025 (ie only 11 days before). She, too, was very reassuring and spent about 60 minutes with me. The appointment with Dr Manfredonia was set up on the spot, so again the route ahead was clear

Exceptional service provided by Dr Parmar, once again. Very supportive and helpful. Fantastic use of technology as well. The video appointment was perfect!

Saw Jacob Stendall at Midland Health with a foot problem. He was excellent. Very informative and helpful. Prescribed what was needed and made my prescription collection straightforward. Highly recommended

I recently went in for an initial assessment appointment with Dr Alina Vaida. The clinic itself is a lovely environment, modern, clean and chilled. The appointment was made into a fantastic experience - I haven't talked for that long about my past for a long time, but Dr Vaida was calming, considered, relaxed, carefully guiding me through questions whilst building a cehesive picture to allow diagnosis - my experience was everything I wanted it to be and more, can't recommend highly enough.

Some staff genuinely care, but others spend time on their phones and ignore patients. I don’t feel heard or that my needs are met, especially when staff are on break and no one else will help. There also aren’t enough staff due to low pay. Overall, it’s disappointing—lack of communication makes an already difficult situation worse.

While visiting the GP, it was recommended that additional bloodwork would be required. Midland Health Clinic in Edgbaston was able to get my blood work drawn during the same visit, thus saving me an additional trip and reducing the time to get the information back to my GP for evaluation. Great efforts all around with a courteous practitioner to get the blood drawn.

We spent £265 of personal money (not via insurers) to seek an alternative private consultation on my daughters recent PCOS diagnosis. My attempts to illustrate our expectations via email to Dr Parijat De ahead of the appointment were filtered by the receptionist who gave no indication of whether further blood tests could be offered other than those already sought via our GP.

On arrival Dr Parijat De was dismissive, he gave us no option of any further tests (despite being prepared to pay for them), shut our concerns down, told us to refer to a Gyanecologist for greater in-depth knowledge of her root causes, interrupted us on three separate occasions mid-sentence, would not answer specific questions about her condition (his response was "I am not prepared to answer that"), faltered on deeper questioning into root causes or hormone rebalancing, defaulted to our generic GPs response to 'go on the contraceptive pill', would not give us specific advice about different pills and told us to "refer to our GP about that" and showed us the door after 20 minutes of being disregarded. We found Dr Parijat De rude, uninformed, unable to communicate in a medical manner about condition specifics and unable to give any practical solutions or root cause reasons. All in all a large £265 wasted to gain less information that our General Practitioner could give. I would not call this 'specialist' a specialist of any kind in this condition and both myself and my daughter left feeling wholly scammed out of what we had hoped would be a supportive and informative private appointment leaving with no practical onward treatment or testing options for us to decide on the best treatment.
