I work as an e-learning video content specialist for Geekruiter and I would like to share my insights about the project, that could help people evaluate whether Geekruiter is/isn't worth it:

-> The process of content creation follows design thinking thus producing valuable and relevant training for IT recruiters. At Geekruiter, learning materials reflect both student's needs and industry insights, which help even a novice become a confident recruiter quickly. Simply said, you learn what you need from day #1, there's no redundant content.

-> As I process the learning materials (mostly videos), I am myself becoming aware of the "technical stuff" so I start to understand what IT people speak about. If you don't know what API, data, servers, IT roles, GitLab, WP or similar is, start with the fundamentals. As a person with little IT knowledge, I am starting to understand this field because at Geekruiter they explain in the way I can understand, bite by bite (byte by byte).

-> Quality support, group skype classes, online group conversations and content on demand (Yes, if there's still something missing, we are going to investigate, prepare and create. After all, that's how we've been doing it since the beginning)

-> If you feel like you are already a senior recruiter and you source on a daily basis, then Geekruiter is the next step for you (speaking about sourcing IT people), because the advanced level courses focus on individual technologies (how to hire DevOps engineers, how to hire Java devs, etc) and you can master sourcing of specific technology areas, gaining knowledge and tactics that work in the industry.
Ultimately, you can become a proper partner to any CTO, securing your role as an IT recruiter for a long-term.
How is this even possible? Well, the main source of quality content are CTOs and ex-CTOs who can tell you how you can give them a hand, instead of just spamming their email address. I was really surprised how professional the course from Geekruiter is - IT people finally speak a normal language that everyone can understand! It is very much visible how much work they have invested in order to help recruiters understand technical fundamentals; so essential for our work! I got to learn a lot of new things, made things clear that I thought I knew, but Michal together with his team helped me to understand it in a wider concept. I do recommend you to join Geekruiter - learning is fun with them and they are ready to explain you every single detail that you were afraid to ask before.

Michal is always trying to improve their service, by asking active users for feedback. Great idea, way to go guys!
