Terrible customer service who refuse to respond to concerns. They will also ignore the state department and all consumer laws. Save your money, go somewhere else.

The packaging is poorly designed
The packaging is poorly designed, causing the product to fall out easily—what a complete waste of money! To make matters worse, the customer service at Merit is an absolute joke. It’s baffling that a company charges this much and then fails to stand behind their product.
In a saturated market, you’d think customer loyalty would matter, but clearly, it doesn’t here. I was once a loyal customer, but I’ve moved on to better products with superior customer service. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

I was a little dubious at first but I’ve got to say, customer service is fantastic! I ordered the wrong colour for the minimalist stick and blush, I wasn’t really sure what colour to order as it was all online but I spoke to a lovely sales assistant, Grace, through email and sent her a photo and she recommended the perfect shade and sorted all of the order out for me and I didn’t need to send the other products back.
1000/10, Grace was fantastic from the start. I’d highly recommend Merit products and Grace!

Products arrived well packaged and so far seem really good quality :)
Not sure if I just got lucky (based off the bad reviews here) or if Merit have started to make some positive changes for their customers 🤞🏼

I ordered the intro set in November 2024 and received the goods approximately one week later. I was so pleased with the products that I bought another intro set for my daughter who was celebrating her birthday early in January, it arrived within 3 days. I made another purchase for myself at the end of January, it was again delivered within 3 days. I absolutely love using the items I purchased and have recommended them to family members and friends.
Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. Got a free merit mirror with my order of over $150 and the mirror came as if it’s already been used. The inside of the mirror had scratches all over it. I reached out to Merit to see if I could get a replacement and they simply said that they cannot issue a replacement because they cannot guarantee that it will come in perfect condition. What does that even mean?
I asked them twice if they can resolve this issue and they simply said they can’t.
At that point, I was at a loss of words. This company doesn’t deserve my money or anybody else’s. I would say stay away from this company. There are so many other make up brands that have amazing customer service
that will never think twice to reach their goal of providing good service even at the expense of the company.

Terrible customer service. Order was weeks late to be confirmed and I was promised a refund, but after almost a month still have not received it. Scammy business, should not be trusted.

I got some luck
I got some luck, I didn’t check here before purchased, i ordered my lipsticks on 23th December, all three lipsticks delivered on 27thDec including a free gift make up bag. They all beautiful and I just put it on my lip, the colour name is Fashion. It’s a beautiful raspberry wine sharp. I am quite happy my experience. Finger cross

Completely incompetent company. Like so many other poor people they’ve taken money from and not delivered. Customer care is very low on their agenda, taking money with false hopes is obviously much higher. Avoid.

I’ve sent 3 emails requesting to return a portion of my order following all of the processes on their return policy within the recommended timeframe with absolutely no response. Would not recommend doing business with this company they don’t stand behind their return policy
Waiting Over Three Weeks and No Order
I ordered over three weeks ago and there is no shipping information and no reply from Merit. Do not order from Australia.
PARCEL HAS NOT ARRIVED A MONTH LATER
If you are based in Australia, do not order. I ordered from Merit website on 19 November and still no parcel has arrived. Each day the shipping arrival estimate gets pushed out a few days. Both Passport Shipping and Merit Beauty customer service have been extremely unhelpful and I am unsure if the parcel will ever get to me. Do not order from here.
3 weeks and counting
Like many others, I made recent orders from Merit which have not arrived. They appear to have contracted the poorest rated courier services available. Over 3 weeks and my orders have not arrived, have been sitting at depots in my state not moving. You can’t contact the courier company, I’ve tried their ‘passport’ delivery people with no success. I’ve emailed Merit twice with no response other than a generic we will get back to you. I love their products, my first order early November arrived within a week. Very disappointed that they have launched and hard marketed only to not be able to meet consumer demand and display very poor customer service. Do not recommend their online purchasing experience.
Waiting forever and products still haven't arrived
I ordered products on the 25 of November. The original estimated arrival date was the 6th of December. It's now the 17th of December and it still hasn't arrived. Emailed Merit directly, emailed the shipping carrier directly, no answer. Really disappointed.
Not worth if for the terrible shipping experience
Wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered. I was so excited for Merit to start shipping to Australia, but unfortunately don't think I'll be ordering again as their shipping experience has really let them down - and it looks like I'm not alone.
I made an order on the 24th of Nov and my parcel is still yet to come. The Merit website claims 10-12 business days shipping, and my original ETA was 5th - 9th Dec. It's now three weeks later, my parcel has been delayed 4 times, and I have no faith that it's actually going to arrive.
I've emailed their shipping carrier Passport multiple times, and all they've been able to tell me is that it's on it's way. The local carrier they use, Parcel Freight Logistics, has terrible reviews online and has only provided two updates in 2 weeks. My parcel arrive in Australia 2 weeks ago, and I live in Sydney, so don't know in what world it could take this long.
I've ordered many things from the US, and they've always come via DHL or FedEx, who manage to deliver to me within the week. Don't think I'll be ordering from Merit again until they find a more reliable shipping partner.
UPDATE: order ended up arriving after 4 weeks, however both the complexion stick and the eyeshadow were bone dry and unusable. I emailed customer service with photos and they refunded me for both products immediately.
Estimated delivery date uncertain
Placed an order on November 23. The delivery date gets pushed back by two or three days every time I check the tracking number. It has happened three times now. It is now scheduled for delivery on December 17. I wonder if this will keep going on forever. I understand it is a busy time of the year but almost four weeks fore delivery is ridiculous. Customer service is unhelpful.
An expensive brand like this should have better logistics in place. They advertise clean products and market themselves as a “minimalist” brand. I would have thought they would care as much for the environment. Shipping packages from overseas as opposed to having a local warehouse would solve the logistics issues, reduce their carbon footprint and keep customers happy.

Sent email .. response was ‘we’re busy. Sorry .. no changes or cancellations once order has been placed’. Not promising tbh.

I ordered their intro set a year ago after a friend recommended their products for an everyday natural look. Since then, I've reordered some of the products in the kit. The brush, foundation stick, bronzer, blush & brow are everyday staples for me, and they're great for traveling. The lineup is pretty expensive overall and I'm not a fan of the mascara, but I got a lot of life out of the staples and never grew tired of them!
I've been using this brand consistently for about a year. The customer service team has always been responsive, and the products are good with clean ingredients.
If you're looking for a low-maintenance everyday routine, I'd definitely recommend checking them out.
