Melodica Music Academy is a wonderful place to work and grow professionally. The management team is well-organized, supportive, and genuinely cares about both staff and students. Communication is clear, and everything is handled in a professional manner.
The colleagues are friendly, cooperative, and passionate about music education, which creates a positive and motivating work environment. It truly feels like a team where everyone supports each other.

I’m writing this review as a deeply concerned parent after a shocking and unacceptable experience at Melodica Music & Dance School – Meadows Town Centre.

During my child’s last class, my 5-year-old was left completely unattended and allowed to leave the center unsupervised. This is not just a minor oversight—it’s a serious breach of child safety that could have had devastating consequences.

When I raised these concerns, I was met with a generic response citing their “terms and conditions.” Let me be clear: no terms and conditions can justify putting a child’s life at risk.

Also they proposed another solution by Transfer of classes to a friend or family member (a registration fee of AED 150 + VAT applies if the recipient is not an existing Melodica student).
I’m also sharing this experience publicly to raise awareness and help other parents make informed decisions.

I am happy to be a part of Melodica Music Academy. Working here for past three years. Management demonstrates excellent communication and organization, with clear and consistent policies that make working here smooth and predictable for me. I feel well-supported, and any questions or concerns are addressed promptly and respectfully by the HR. My students also experience a welcoming and helpful environment, and I can guide themm with approachable and professional leadership. Overall, the management fosters stability, transparency, and a positive atmosphere for both staff and students.

Each company has there own policy's and this policy may not applicable to each and everyone of us. Thank you Melodica for your service.

My son enjoys piano and has learned this beautiful skill while attending classes at Melodica. However, the way they run this as a business, with unhelpful reception staff, very inflexible timings which makes it difficult to arrange or rearrange classes, and deadlines after which classes you have paid for cannot be used, is shocking.
It resembles a low cost provider with punitive charges, when in reality it is anything but and has far higher costs than other providers in Dubai.
They push us and him to do an exam, which we pay for, then say we cannot use our unused classes because of a deadline (which was not advised at the time of booking), and there has been little flexibility from their side to book additional classes before the deadline. Now the tutor says he won't be successful in the exam and it has left my son feeling like a failure.
The experience dealing with Melodica as a business leaves a bitter taste, and unfortunately criticism of my son's progress risks impacting his enjoyment of piano, potentially for life. We won't take these risks with our child so will find a different provider where he (and we as parents) can get much more out of it.

Money oriented company rather than customers. No flexibility, front desk at Jumeirah brach nor customer friendly. They ae having lack of communication and common sense. Think three times and register if you have to.

The institute will chase you to renew 1.5 months before the lessons end and give notice of just few hours before a promotion is ending. Why!? I will renew when the time comes OR give me an advance notice for upcoming promotion. The operations staff are bound by strict rules. And there is no way you can reach to the so called management. As a parent you are signing up for complex rules and regulations around changing classes or missed lessons. It is EXHAUSTING working with their rules as you very quickly realize that the rules are not logical and only designed to benefit them. There is no communication about change of teacher and since you have to buy a package with them, there is no choice!

The worst experience. As an adult one would think that making time from a busy schedule to learn a skill would prove to be a rewarding experience. But Melodica has shattered that dream and killed all the passion I had to learn a musical instrument. Very very unprofessional staff, unaccommodating as an institute, they say working professionals can register as an irregular student, but never ever give you the flexibility to choose (apparently the teachers are always busy or off).

I’ve found this center to be quite inflexible with cancellations, especially considering that kids have school and weekend commitments. If you need to cancel on the same day, even with prior notice, they still charge you. Other centers are more accommodating, allowing rescheduling without penalties.

I wanted to make a trial class and they did mistake in timing. When I came I realized that my timing is 15 minutes shifted. But I could wait 25 minutes till they make my class, because I came 10 minutes earlier. Very unprofessional and they don’t even know their schedule

I have been attending guitar lessons for over 2 years with melodica. Over the past 2 years I have had SIX different teachers, they keep quitting. I never understood why, until one of my teachers told me that they mistreat and ‘punish’ the teachers. I have always suspected something was wrong with this business, yet I have continued to attend lessons as the location is convenient. After these 2 years I have decided never to return to melodica for numerous reasons: the constant change of staff being my number one. My experience with the teachers have not been great, my newest ‘guitar teacher’ does not even play guitar. He plays YouTube videos of guitar lessons and leaves the lessons constantly to take calls, and is often on his phone. Not to mention the room absolutely reeks of smoke, as does he, which makes the lessons further unenjoyable I have not made progression with guitar due to the lack of help I have received in my ‘lessons’. Not to mention the absolute stupid extortionate prices. They resell instruments and equipment for 50% above retail. The management is a disgrace, and I’m sure the teachers are not being treated fairly as they keep quitting as soon as they start the job. NEVER take lessons or purchase from melodica, complete scam, they don’t care about you or your lessons, they just want your money

Melodica is a very good company happy to be the part of this team. Very good management and co workers. The teachers are amazing. Best place to career growth.

Thanks to Melodica's dedicated teachers, my daughter’s violin skills have improved significantly. She always looks forward to her lessons.

I had an exceptional experience with the team at Melodica Music Academy for my guitar classes. Initially, I inquired about the curriculum and suitability of the classes for my skill level, and I promptly received confirmation that they would be a perfect fit. Throughout my enrollment, Mis Rebecca provided consistent communication, keeping me informed about class schedules and any updates. To my delight, the classes exceeded my expectations, and I made significant progress in a short amount of time. Many thanks to the entire team for their dedication and outstanding instruction.

Very bad service we can give - * review

Worst service we have ever received. We purchased a piano and it came without bench, after constant lies, coming from their side, false promises we are still after 6 months without bench! They should be closed, management doesn’t understand how to manage the company

They put up an Eid sale on Social Media early April 2004. I placed an order for a guitar that showed 2 in stock, after about 7 - 10 days I get an email saying sorry the guitar that you paid for is damaged and we can't sell it to you. I asked for pics of the damage so I could decide if I wanted to have it or not. No reply to my query, but all I got was we're looking for an alternative, but they are more expensive, so they were trying to upsell after failing to fulfill an order.
I politely requested to have my money refunded in the wat I paid for it, which they refused to do and asked for my bank details to process the request.
Shared it with them and asked when will I have it back, 7 - 14 working days was the answer. I can't imagine a company in this day and age doing transfers that take this long.
Followed up after 5 days to see if the transfer was initiated, I get the same answer wait for 7 - 14 days.
They used to be good people to deal with many years ago, not sure what happened after.
One very disappointing customer experience and I'll never use them again.
