I could not recommend Melling Motor Homes enough! This was our first time ever hiring a motorhome and they couldn’t have made the experience any smoother for us. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, Kelly was great at advising us as to where we could stop locally and the recommendation of the area did not disappoint. The Motorhomes are gorgeous and so well maintained we loved the autoroller 747 even though there was only the two of us. Overall great experience and will be looking to book again for next year.

Fab week away in Feb, the motor home was more than we could have asked for .. Great Company Mellings Motorhome and the Staff were very friendly and helpful. Already booked another week, now we just have to decide where to go ….

From our initial enquiry at the moto home show to having a special week away the whole process was very simple and straightforward. We live in the south of UK and it made perfect sense to hire locally to where we wished to spend a week travelling around the Yorkshire dales and Lake District. We arrived at our destination Kirby Lonsdale which is very easy to find just off the M6. Handover is very easy and very well organised and explained. Secure Free parking for our car too. First stop was the local farm shop Booths, they literally have everything to make your experience special food wise. We spent the week staying in some spectacular sites with views to die for. The Motor home was very clean and well maintained and laid out. Regardless of being a seasoned traveler or new to this, it’s such a brilliant thing to do.
We've historically owned a number of motor homes and it’s very expensive. Hiring from Melling motor homes this way is much more cost effective and convenient.

John and Kelly where soo easy to deal with from pick up to drop off.

The van was in superb condition, loved every minute of our trip.

We had a fantastic experience with Melling Motorhomes from start to finish. The initial booking process was straightforward and well explained, with Clare and Mel taking the time to answer all our questions and make sure we chose the right motorhome for our trip. Communication was excellent throughout, and the document requests were clear and straightforward, which made the whole process stress-free.

Collection day was smooth and well organised. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, and they gave us a thorough handover of the motorhome, explaining everything clearly and patiently. It was obvious they take pride in both their vehicles and their customer service.

The motorhome itself was in excellent condition and spotlessly clean inside and out. Everything worked perfectly, and it felt well maintained and cared for, which gave us real confidence as we set off on our holiday.

Drop-off was just as easy as collection, and we got to meet Kelly and John, who were just as warm and welcoming, taking time to chat with us about our trip and helping us fill up the LPG.

Overall, Melling Motorhomes provided outstanding service at every stage. Friendly, professional, and reliable – we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future. The memories from the trip we took in one of their motorhomes will stay with us for a very long time!

This is the 5th time using Melling & again did not let us down in the quality of the motor home hired.
We decided to go for the 590 this time which allowed us to park up but also use the motorhome to visit different places diring the day due to its smaller size.
Kelly , Mel & John are very professional & make hiring very easy.

I thought the service provided by Melling was superb. We hadn't used a motorhome before and they gave good advice on which one suited us best and clear instructions on how to use it. The motorhome was spotless and the staff very friendly and quick to answer any questions, we will definitely be using them again.

I'd never even touched a motorhome in my life, so hiring one for our family of five, as a surprise, made me rather nervous and excited.

The booking process was nice and simple, a few details, proof of ID for insurance and a payment over the phone and we were all set.

We arrived to pick up the motorhome and Mel was brilliant at answering all of my rookie questions and talking us through how everything worked.
I was prepared for a basic trip, but in reality, the motorhome had everything we needed right down to the wi-fi! And anything we couldn't remember how to do there were video guides to help us!

We had a great time travelling up to Edinburgh and back down the east coast before heading back to the lake district, we had a night off grid.... well, about 20 feet from the Tan Hill Inn on a stormy night, which was "exciting" enough! Their customer service was excellent throughout, a lovely friendly team!

I would definitely use Melling Motorhomes again and would highly recommended them.

Absolutely loved it! We picked the Motorhomes up and it was lovely, spotless, we where shown around and how to use things, we had a lovely time stopping at different sites on the nc500, sadly due to a family issue we had to come home a few days earlier than planned, the team at Melling Motorhomes are fab, we will be hiring again

We hired a motor home to explore the West Coast of Scotland in October this year.
Excellent communication throughout the booking process and handover of the motor home. Arranged a late drop off as we were travelling back from Loch Lomond on the Saturday. The vehicle itself was perfect.

From the moment I bought the gift vouchers for my husband’s birthday I knew we were in safe hands.
When we went along to book our weekend away Mel couldn’t have been more accommodating. Everyone is warm, welcoming & this is reflected in the congruent service they all offer.
It is very comforting to know John is at the end of a phone call for any queries whilst out in the van.
We loved our time away visiting the Black Country living museum & Surrounding area.
Things have significantly moved along in terms of comfort & technology in the campervan world. There is everything you could possibly need included. Only had to take our bedding & towels, food & trusty air fryer.

We had a fantastic week in our camper van from Melling motorhomes.
The weather looked terrible in September so we chased the sun and ended up in Norfolk and had a fantastic time.
