Paid £60 last may didn’t get anything at all !!! Each time I called, no answer. I had to apply to my doctor myself in the end. Thanks Medcert I hope you enjoyed my hard earned £60. Take my advice do not bother with medcert!!!!

Had an issue gaining full medical records a the firearm office kept refusing the application. Medcert not only helped but went the extra mile to collate evidence that the missing small amount of records that were missing were not available anywhere. They worked tirelessly to gain approval from firearm office. They kept us abreast of what they were doing and how far along the whole time.

Excellent service.... after a phone call to explain it would be very helpful if I had my proforma back by the month end as I would get an extension on my current licence, I was told mine would be bumped up the list yo make sure this happened and 36 hours later it was in my email inbox! Very satisfied customer here!

Thorough and very professional in their research and reporting

I mean where do I start? From the very start this process was quite daunting as I didn't even know where to start. However, after being directed to Medcert by my shooting club I have nothing but nice things to say about them!!
They have been nothing but helpful throughout the entire process even when my doctors requested I changed doctors due to me moving house (this caused a lot of issues).
Anyway, after an amount of time, because neither of my doctor surgeries being helpful in anyway at all, I was contacted by Medcert to be told they were going straight to the main database to get the info they required. I was advised this could take a while but within a few weeks it has come back been signed and all is well!
I had a few questions after Darryn had sent my medical form over and I emailed him back to which I received a phone call back within 10 mins to answer all the questions I had!
Definitely would recommend and definitely will use again!
That said the one star reviews I've been advised are other local firms trying to give Medcert a bad name.
I don't normally leave reviews so for me to be leaving a review is quite a thing.

All good, after my GP's refusal to have anything to do with firearms medicals, panicked and medcert was my next choice (I'd heard the name somewhere) easy to apply, for a bit thought it was too easy. 4 week later I'm looking at me proforma. Did start to wonder after reading some other reviews, thought I'd check up the situation via an email, recieved a very prompt helpful reply. Thank you for the service!

I started the process at the end of April/ beginning of May 2023 my licence was due for renewal in October 2023. I’ve had to hand in my guns for storage. I’ve called from October 2023 ever month till February 2024 just get fobbed off with it’s waiting to be signed. What a joke, and no help from shooting organisations 💩

MedCert are super helpful and super efficient!

My local police service (D&C) have been perfect. They have been ready to go with my renewal 6 months ago and are just awaiting the med report. Almost every time I call I get a recorded message, even in office hours! When I have had contact, answers have not been forthcoming!
They have lost me my syndicate place (which I had paid for and may not get money back!) and £600 plus in RFD storage. I am at least £1500 out of pocket.
I a so angry.

Iv had an excellent service from medcert, delays from the GP on my end, excellent communication from the team. As soon as they received my documents the turnaround was 6/7working days to me receiving my proforma completed thank you Team

Ignore the five star reviews they probably wrote them theirselves!Total scam I’m reporting them to trading standards it’s a total waste of £60 which is non refundable surprise surprise.just avoid this scam as use a proper company

The last 2 reviews are FAKE the company are frauds scammers this has be reported to trading standards doctors do not work with this man he’s scam them too

Well, rather a slow process but we got there in the end; but to be fair, probably out of MedCerts control.

Very very slow to get the certificate processed. My certificate could not be simpler with no meds being taken and no medical issues.
I applied and paid in Sept and I received it on Dec 22nd even after emailing to chase on a couple of occasions, just get automated message saying it was one of there Doctors.

Lesson learnt, should have read reviews first, save your Money and go somewhere else. Ended up paying £60 for this rubbish service and then another £30 to my GP only didn't go to GP first as they said it would take 6 weeks.

How the hell is this company allowed to operate?!!!!it’s been 4 months and still nothing and they’re impossible to contact!
Save your money and go elsewhere.

Hopeless service, slow in applying to GP, eventually got some garbled message that the reply wasn’t satisfactory, meanwhile The GP was kind enough to do the form for me. I was promised a refund 5 weeks ago, in writing, nothing, not reliable company waste of £60

Very hard to contact anyone on the phone.
It takes a very long time to get your medical certificate.
