DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! My order has not been fulfilled for weeks. When i emailed the site they responded saying the order had shipped but they could not provide a tracking number. its almost like this site is a front for a guy in his moms basement drop shipping from overseas. or worse, its a total scam. Only time will tell as i was quoted 5 to 8 day shipping and it had been much longer. btw the city they claim the business address is located only a 3 hour drive from me.

Just the item I was looking for, hard to find! Great service and fast delivery!

I ordered a meter from them. When the meter arrived it was not the one I ordered but the version below it. The I ordered was for $126 and had 2 extra features on it it was selling everywhere else for $189. The meter I received was for $109. When contacted they said they made a mistake but were not able to correct it because they were now out of stock for the meter I ordered and since it could be over a month or more before they received new stock I should just send it back for a refund. The next night I went on their site and the original meter was up for sale but now it was $189. I tried to set up an order to see if it said it was on back order and their was no problem all I had to do was pay. I contacted them and they said yes they were getting more in and yes they would now be $60 higher, but they made a mistake and were supposed to pull the ad until the stock was replenished. This was clearly a bait and switch so they could get more money.

Communication is not this outfits strong suit. I ordered a fan motor and after 6 days of not recieving anything from them, I sent an email requesting some sort of confirmation. At that point they tell me "they don't ship to Alaska" I wonder how long it would have taken them to tell me this had I not ask them first.

I recently ordered an Allied Brass shelf from Mechanic Surplus around the holidays, and when I received it, the outer box was totally wrecked and opened, in very rough shape from UPS/FedEx (Can’t remember which one). I immediately emailed their customer service to let them know when I fully opened the box, the corner of the shelf was shattered. They sent me a paid shipping label for a return and refunded my account very quickly. Unfortunately I loved the shelf but there wasn’t one available for exchange. The customer service experience however was top notch. I feel extremely confident buying from them again. I appreciate their ethics and was impressed with the ease of the return and politeness. This is my first Trustpilot review. Not really a review type, but they deserve the credit. I think more people are motivated to leave reviews when they’re angry about something rather than happy which can skew ratings, and I want to use my very positive experience to help this obviously smaller company instead of just keeping it to myself.

I had ordered an item online and was notified it was on backorder. I asked if they had another similar item. They responded with a link to a competitor who did have the item in stock. That is amazing customer service. I was so impressed I felt compelled to share my experience. I will use Mechanic Surplus any chance I get.

I do not know what these customers are talking about because I requested a call back and I received a call back within 10 minutes regarding my order.
I received a tracking number and an approximate date as to when my shipment will arrive.

Do not use this company . After they take your money ... radio silence. They Don’t answer phone , no reply not even auto reply, to your email inquiry .. paid for rush shipping over week later not a word. Run away from this company . The Arizona address may benothing more than a mailing address. Expecting never to hear from them.

my part shipped to fortwayne Indiana there it sets never have I received it 6days there and counting don't think I will never again order anything that is shipped from china, Arizona that is called drop ship and it sucks did that at Christmas still have not received them....….. be very leary of people who drop ship from china

I was scammed by this fake e-Commerce site. There were definitely signs I should have been concerned with, but I purchased during the Thanksgiving holiday and it wasn't top of mind.

The price was far lower than the competition, which should have definitely tipped me. Then I received no receipt email after the transaction. I wrote to the seller and received no reply.

Then the tracking # provided was a package sent to my ZIP CODE but NOT MY ADDRESS. This is apparently a classic scam where it tricks Paypal and eBay, so that the duped buyer is decided against when a claim is made.

I am now forced to go to the USPS to get written proof that the package was sent to another address in order to be considered for a refund of my money.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!!!!!!!!! Also, something to note is that the site says it's based in Arizona, but the shipment was sent from New York. That alone wouldn't be enough to call scam, but living the whole situation, but I'll leave it to you.

This online company is no good. They don't give you a order number or have a way to view the order you made. This company will send you the worng part and say that you ordered the worng part, and that you will not get a full refund. Shady way of doing business. I will never recommend this company to anyone, ever!. Mechanic surplus is bad business.
