Hi Ian,
Thank you for your order and for taking the time to get in touch. We’re sorry to hear that your package took longer than expected to reach you. While we do our best to dispatch orders promptly (same day if placed before 3pm), delivery times are managed by Royal Mail once the parcel leaves us, and occasionally delays can occur that are unfortunately outside of our control.
We also want to apologise if you felt your earlier email was not acknowledged. We have do not have a record of receiving an email from you, but we always aim to respond quickly to customer enquiries and regret any frustration this may have caused.
We appreciate your patience and your order. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Kind regards,
McGill Motorsport
Misleading shipping options & poor customer service
I asked for express shipping because it didn’t show on the website. I paid £30 for shipping, assuming it would be express, and even emailed the company before paying to confirm. They only replied after the item was sent, saying I hadn’t paid for express — even though there’s no option for it on their site.
I feel the shipping options are unclear and the customer service unhelpful. I ended up paying for expensive shipping but only got regular delivery, with no resolution offered.

Hi Bar
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your experience with our shipping options and communication did not meet expectations.
To clarify, the option you selected was for standard shipping up to 2kg, as stated during checkout. Unfortunately, we did not have an express shipping service available on our website, and we regret any confusion this may have caused.
Regarding your email, our team prioritise dispatching orders as quickly as possible, which meant we were unable to respond before your parcel was shipped. We understand how this may have been frustrating, and we apologies for not being able to address your query in advance.
For future orders, please feel free to contact us before completing checkout, and we’ll be more than happy to assist with any questions to ensure everything is clear.
We truly value your feedback, as it helps us improve both our communication and the clarity of our shipping information.
Kind regards,
McGill Motorsport

Everything was great
Everything was great. I had made a small error and they called me to see if that's what I meant to do and fixed the order before shipping. The parts got here quick as well. Everything fit nicely and I've got the assembly I made with them on the car and ready to race.

Dubious business practices.
Dubious business practices.
Mcgill Motorsport sell kit which is near their expiry date, which is bad enough however yet they then remove negative reviews (from a known shopping site and search engine) when consumers rightly expose them.
I sincerely advise not to shop with Mcgill motorsport.
To add, mysterious since my and a few other negative reviews, Mcgill has been flooded with loads of 'happy' customers boosting their trustpilot score.
If consumers choose to ignore my warning, up to them, personally I'll never shop with such a dubious and frankly dishonest (it is to remove negative feedback off websites) company again.
