I've been pleased with the night stand that I ordered. It was delivered within 2 weeks, as promised, and it is beautiful. However, I have yet to receive any information on the other two items ( another night stand and a dresser). I have repeatedly tried to contact customer service by email and phone, but have not heard back. The website now says the dresser is back ordered for 4 months, which wasn't stated when I ordered it. Getting an order status shouldn't be this challenging in 2023.

Very poor experience. We have faced inaccurate lead times and shipping delays of up to 6 months on items. Custom service continually lies about restocking and shipping dates and does nothing to remedy the situation. We would advise anyone in the design industry to avoid ordering from them as it will undoubtably lead to a stressful situation with your clients.

Worst company I have ever, EVER, EVER ordered from! I ordered wallpaper with original ship date 9/1 it has been pushed back to 11/17 for the THIRD TIME! I spent $700 on this wallpaper. My interior design team is already done designing the rest of my house just waiting for the wallpaper. When requested a refund no response!!!

So far I would say everything that I’ve ordered has been actually pretty good quality. There was only one item that I was kind of wishy-washy about. But that’s not why I am commenting today. I’m curious if anyone knows about the rewards system to McGee and Co, it says, for every dollar spent you get one reward. However, when I go to check my rewards, it says I don’t have any rewards to use. But from what I gather on the website, if you have 500 points you get $25 off, needless to say I’ve surpassed that since her items are so pricey I’m pending on a little over 2000 points within a certain amount of time. Christmas and holiday stuff. Of course I don’t shop there often. I also noticed that the points expire, so if I’m not able to use them like the website states, I’m just gonna lose them which kind of defeats the purpose of even having a rewards program can someone elaborate for me please, because the help section on the website doesn’t tell me a thing about how many points I need to have for I’m allowed to use rewards.

Ordered a bed with a backorder date a few days away. Within minutes of processing my payment, I got an email notification the date had been pushed back a couple weeks. I was OK with that, but found the timing odd. I also noticed the website continued to advertise the original date. A couple weeks passed and I noticed the website still reflected a date which was now in the past, so I reached out to find out when my order would be shipping since presumably the item was in stock. The replied the back order date was now two months further back. I pointed out twice in emails to customer service that their website then is reflecting a dishonest in-stock status and shipping date. They didn’t acknowledge that. I feel like it is a classic bait and switch. It was going to be months before I received my item that the website implied was in stock. I cancelled my order and will not purchase again due to faulty business practices.

I was really Leary of ordering from McGee and co. but I took a chance and ordered a rug. It arrived about 3 weeks later. It was a beautiful vintage rug. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy to receive it in just 3 weeks after reading all the horrifying reviews. I want to order a sectional but afraid to.
I’m going to hold off until they rectify the shipping timeline and customer service. I don’t want a 10K horror story!

I ordered a light 3 times my budget because I was told it would arrive on time in 3 weeks. I just called after hearing nothing for 4 weeks and was told it would not be shipped before 10/12 and nobody knows why. So instead if 3 weeks now it will be a minimum of 6 weeks and could be longer. Terrible customer service-no communication and certainly not worth spending $750 on a light. Find a reputable lighting company and don’t trust this one.

Made an order for a bed. This company has zero communication. Every time they provided an update on delivery date it was never correct and always delayed. It took 6 months for simple bed to arrive.

I waited almost three months for a bed to arrive. They took my money without telling me that the product was on back order. When it finally arrived, the condition was horrible! I spent a lot of money on this bed and the quality and condition do not reflect the high price. I definitely will not be purchasing anything from them ever again nor will I recommend this company to anyone else. My sister in law had a similar experience and I wish I would have listened to her.

I have purchased thousands of dollars of items from this company and recommended their products to family and friends (even though I have had more than a few issues with orders). But my last experience with them was so awful that I feel compelled to write. McGee is refusing to help me get ONE new replacement slipcover for an incredibly expensive couch that they still sell on their website. It was lost while I was having a zipper repaired and McGee has told me there is absolutely no way they can help me. I of course offered to pay for the replacement product. I cannot believe they are unwilling to help me when the alternative is having the entire couch recovered. I can't stress how strongly you should shop elsewhere - with these prices they should be more willing to help. They have beautiful things - it's so disappointing.

I have not been happy with the customer service at McGee and company. I think return policies need to be different for different types of items often lighting as ordered in anticipation of a install but then of course the building process is delayed and so is the install, but they adhere to the 30 day return policy on a light fixture that hasn’t even come out of the box and did not match the description on the website, I find this abhorrent 09

I purchased a La Messina rug and after a few weeks I received a rug shipment. The rug is made by a completely different company with a different name. I paid $350 for the rug from McGee and co and the same rug is only $179 on Amazon. Be wary it seems like they are just marking up rugs from other suppliers. Makes you wonder what else they are doing as well to make a profit

Terrible experience. Ordered 10 outdoor rugs over a matter of 3-4 months for two homes. Loved them at first. Used half indoors and the other half on multiple covered patios. Any slight exposure to the sun has completely faded and discovered the outdoor rugs in a matter of 2 months. They look dingy and old…. Complete false marketing. Not outdoor rugs. I contacted the company and they said that I shouldn’t have had them outside during incremental weather and i missed the 30 day damaged product return windows…??? 1- They weren’t damaged when I received them obviously, 2- They obviously aren’t made for olde outdoor spaces, let alone covered porches and 3… It’s summer…?!?! How is this considered incremental… when and where was I supposed to use them? What a rip off. Don’t waste your money on their rugs. I’m literally devastated on how much i spent and now how I have to replace my rugs and they are adamant they will not refund, return or replace and somehow it’s my fault. Terrible customer service.

Awful! Received a damaged piece from them, they told me to dispose and provide proof, which I did and that I would get a refund as soon as that was submitted.. Still have not heard back, sent several emails to Sydney and called. No response. Infuriated and will be calling my bank to file a dispute with this company and contacting the better business bureau if I do not hear back today!

I placed an order for a rug on 6/27/23, and after 4 weeks with no updates or tracking information from the company, I reached out. Their customer service rep. told me the rug was "lost in transit" and that they'd ship a new one in two days. 3 days later, I still had not received any updates, so I reached out again. The same rep. informed me that a rug would ship out 8/28/23 -- two months after I placed my initial order! I explained that this was unacceptable and am still waiting for an update and tracking number. Beware of the McGee & Co. scam!

I placed an order on May 30th with a 4-6 week arrival time. It is now July 25th and I still have not received my furniture. Anytime I inquire, they say it will be shipped "next week". Not upfront, would not order from this company again.

My experience with this company has been terrible. Shipping takes forever and when the items finally arrive usually one of them is damaged. After reaching out to their customer service on multiple platforms I still have not been responded to.
