Ordered some gear before Burns night, didn't arrive in time, used the contact form on the website twice with no response. Called the Aberdeen store and was told the Manager would call me back, but didn't. A second phone call got me through to a lady who finally sorted my issue out and refunded my postal costs.

Great quality shirts that need minimal ironing. Have bought cheaper versions but material is stiff and constantly creased

I came to McCalls Aberdeen to be fitted for a kilt for a friend's wedding. Nicki was extremely helpful and friendly, and took my measurements and helped pull together the outfit.

Craig and Nikki help fit out our team for a burns supper. Superb service providing good advice on matching jackets and kilts. We are just blokes after all!

I purchased an expensive horn kilt pin from McCalls
It had been worn only three times and unfortunately the pin detached at the hinge.
I asked if this could be repaired?
Their reply was: If you were to take it to a
jeweller I'm sure they could advise.
I asked for supplier/manufactures details, so I could contact them directly. Received no response.
When I did contact the supplier (The Sgian dubh Company) they asked me to send the pin to them and they would repair.
Shocking customer service from McCalls.

Order was cancelled due to lack of stock availability - poor that the website doesn't reflect actual stock levels, an easy fix.

Bought kilt socks. Great quality and good delivery.

Robyn was very helpful, friendly and professional. She gave great recommendations and showed me lots of options, all whilst making it fun and stress free.
I will definitely be returning here in the future

First class service. Ordered online, and it arrived two days later in the week before Christmas! Fitted perfectly and was in excellent condition, considering it was ex hire. A reasonable price too.

I was looked after my Nicki, who I have to say was absolutely fantastic.

I was looking for Kilt Hire for New Year and came across this shop. I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked to head down to kilt hire. Even though I needed the kilt - THAT DAY! Every member of staff in the shop couldn’t have been more helpful. However I must give a big thank you to Nicki, who couldn’t have done anything more. From helping with what pattern to have, jackets, ties, brogues, she was fantastic.

My partner was with me, and even whilst I was getting changed and trying items on; she said how lovely Nicki was chatting to her.

Thank you to all (Nicki especially) for the best experience. We will 100% be back again.

It was my first time getting measured and hiring a kilt, both Robyn and Danielle made it a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The next time I need to hire or buy a suit/kilt I will be sure to come back here

First thing ,you said you had the item then a couple days later you didn't have it, and you sent the money back ..which was good of you..
but i it left me in a pickle
I had to run around searching for an outfit to suit my heavy frame fortunately i found someone from Pakistan who could not only get my kilt but get it to me in time and they were a lot cheaper than you ,so i spent £400 with them and i will be doing more business with them in the future, ..two stars for returning the money paid within days
