I have a claim almost one year in little bit and you taking me back just 20% of my bike money back and they're still waiting money for the bike and claim when I try to call them always said they said nobody is available for a moment and they call me back but nobody call me back . so far no good

At Riders Group we have partnered with Mcams since our inception in 2016. We deal with a diverse customer base. On the most part however we cater to customer with smaller budget who is looking for a bike as a form of transport.
In this respect our relationship with Mcams for both ourselves and our customers have been invaluable.
Mcams will supply a hire bike to our customer, without purchase of additional Legal Cover policies, which often seems to be a requirement with our customers own insurance, This is reflected in the rate charged for that vehicle, the costs are not hidden from our customers and we believe the process with Mcams is smooth and we and our customer are in control of the bike.
Again unlike some options with insurance where the claim is outsourced to an accident management company anyway and the customers bike disappears to a "Approved Repair Centre" Where our customers bike can be come one of 600 in a production line and we lose the opportunity to do what we do best.. repair motorcycles.
I have read a number of reviews with customers maybe not entirely happy with the service, maybe that is down to a lack of understanding, on most occasions the opinion is that Third Party insurers always admit liability and that our customer is always given the option where their bike is repaired, a hire bike is always offered, a fair offer is made for a write off, and our customer has the option to have his bike back.
Ten years ago yes. Unfortunately not always the case anymore.
Our repair work is being taken out of our hands and as such we have evolved to compete. This can mean a little more paperwork required from our customers, that said they are always given disclosure as to what is required both by us and our business partner Mcams.

Well I am amazed this lot get such glowing reviews ! I had a motorcycle accident and the repairers I chose suggested McAms. They certainly brought a hire bike round quickly,hardly surprising as the rate they charge is an unbelievable £200 a day (for a 900cc) ! They hope to get this back from the other party as they only take on cases they feel they can win.However here is the danger - if they don't win they can actually come after you for the hire charges.
I got approx £800 to £1000 less than real market value when my bike was written off - my fault - I shouldn't have agreed to it.
I got some of the write off money paid when the hire charges got into the thousands and at that point I had to give the hire bike back. It then took ages to get the remaining few hundred quid back.
You have to send in all your bank statements for the relevant period to show you needed to hire a bike(???).
As time goes by you will find you have to deal with Armstrongs, their solicitors, not McAms - (check them out on solicitors review sites).
The totals for "storage charges" and bike hire are quite staggering and if ambulance chasers like this stay in business its hardly surprising that everybody's insurance premiums continue to rise so much.
My case took about 18 months and Mcams settled with the other drivers insurance just before going to court.
Be very careful.

Very helpful and dealt with my claim quickly. Would highly recommend to other bikes who had accidents that weren't their fault.

Dear McAms,

Generally, I have been very pleased with your services. I have got the full insurance due for my bike and help with my physio on my shoulder.

However, as regards to my gear, you have, in my opinion, fallen short I did not get anything for the crash helmet that was no longer any use after the crash. I told you about it, several times, but you did not respond.

I have, today, replaced the helmet that I could no longer use, I trust that you will reimburse this loss, and reclaim it from the person at fault, at no cost to me?

If I do not hear from you within the next three days, I will take this matter further with my solicitor.

Here at focus motorcycles we deal with Mcams on a regular basis and all of our customers that have used them have been more than happy with their excellent service and all of them have been paid out for more than they expected to get for the crash damaged bikes. Top notch service and well recommended

Honestly, all you people saying how good they are - please, please wait until your claims are fully resolved - I thought the same as you a week or so after a non-fault "incident" where my neighbour backed out of his drive straight into my vehicle, however 8 months on, I don't have the full value of my vehicle, I am facing paying £13,000 in hire charges for 56 days of hire - and yes that's right over £230 per day, I have probably made in excess of 100 phone calls either to McAMS themselves or to Armstrongs the solicitors they use - read every line of the small print as if the third party's insurance company refuses to pay the extortionate hire charges - YOU are personally responsible. In addition to that before i had received a single penny my vehicle had been exported to Poland for sale !!!!

Been dealing with McAMS over the last few weeks following an accident (guy reversed into me at a junction) and they have been great.
I rang my own insurance company on getting home after the accident on Friday evening, was told I would get a call back (after confirming twice that they are even working at weekends - which was important as I use my bike exclusively for commuting to work and wanted stuff sorting over the weekend) within 24 hours. They didn't ring and when I attempted to contact them on the number given for the accident management team, unsurprisingly they had closed for the weekend.
Found McAMS online and gave them a shout via their online form detailing my accident. Immediate response on the Saturday afternoon from Katie by email then by phone call a little later to get more details. They sent text messages and emails over the next 24 hours letting me know how things progressed. Sunday lunch time got a call from Katie to let me know they are sorting out a hire bike and that the fleet manager would be in touch. Literally finished that call with Katie and the fleet team was on the phone within 5 minutes. Pick of bikes available all suitable for my 120 mile a day commute and only reason I couldn't take it from them on the Monday was because I had to be at work for a meeting. Arranged the Tuesday instead and again prompt service with calls and texts from the delivery team.
Still now three weeks since the accident everyone I have dealt with that McAMS have arranged - solicitors, assessor/engineer team - all have been ultra responsive and communicative - which having dealt with a claim before is not something you learn to expect from your own insurance company (despite it being in their best interest to manage it efficiently to keep costs down). Touch wood, hope to not have another accident, but if I do these guys will be getting the call!

Will update when all complete, but I have no reason to expect anything less than as good as they have been so far!

A car hit my bike yesterday, didn't really know what to do after getting off the hospital. Luckily a friend got knock off a couple of months ago and McAms is dealing with his case. I am expecting a really good service from them as I keep reading good reviews about them but after riding reviews of Armstrong solicitor I am not really sure. Anyway I just started a claim today and so far they are really friendly! will amend this review after getting any update

I was recommended to use Mcams by a friend and have to say I'm glad I did! They had me back on the road the very next day and took all the hassle out of the whole process. Would not hesitate to use again or recommend to a friend or family.....keep up the good work!

I was involved in an accident in February this year. Mcams have been amazing, I contacted them immediately after the crash and they arranged to have my car towed to a local storage yard. I went to the hospital and then returned home, within hours mcams had contacted me and arranged for a hire car to be delivered, taking into account my injury, arranged for the car to be an automatic. The car arrived the next day and the process was smooth and painless. Mcams were easy to deal with as well as compassionate and helped me through the claim process effortlessly. Mcams are always there at the end of the phone to help with any queries. I would defiantly recommend mcams.

We can not rate McAms and our rep Simon highly enough. We have had 2 similar accidents recently, one customer phoned McAms straight away and she got a courtesy bike and settlement very promptly. Second customer called their insurance company, no courtesy bike and months later is still waiting for settlement.

Simon is always on hand to answer question, and the non fault accident cover is a great selling point for bike sales, customers can't believe it is free!

After having a no fault car accident, Two Wheel Moto ltd recommended McAMS to me, they put me in touch with their local rep Dean Ellison who was more than helpful in telling me what I needed to do in order to sort the situation out considering it was after 5pm on a Sunday! McAMS' out of office number were quick to get someone to call me back and discuss the details of what had happened. After liaising with Ciara for a couple of weeks, my car was booked in and a hire car was arranged through Dee and Frank. Even after a few troubles, whenever I rang they remembered who I was and was more than understanding and did everything they could to help. My car is still being fixed now but I can't fault the service McAMS have given me one bit! Thank you very much to Two Wheel Moto, Dean, Ciara, Dee, Frank and everyone else who has been involved.

For the biker: The team at McAms are true professionals, helping you through the mire of an insurance claim, assuring you get all that's due to you including a free replacement bike while yours is being repaired. If you're in a no fault accident, get the other person's details then cal McAms.

For the bike dealer: McAms gives the dealer another value service to offer customers and a good revenue stream for minimum effort.

i have currently had 4 claims using McAMS and i will not use anyone else nor have i ever had a problem. first used when i was 16 and just started work with little money and they got me onto a hire bike within one day, my own insurance said they couldn't let me have a hire vehicle so i would of lost my job. since then i have probably referred McAMS around 150 accidents and within them i think we have only had 1 complaint, from bad road surface to being hit by uninsured drivers and they have done everything they can to fight the claim and a big thanks to adam jackson, he is always there to help when needed,

The customer is always looked after with a like for like motorcycle and replacement helmet and for me the added bonus of customer retention and the satisfaction in having been involved in recommending the service is great!
