I cannot praise Mayfair watches enough. I had been looking for a Tudor Princess Oysterdate for a while. My wife prefers those to the Rolex as she believes it to be the smart choice. A 1995 with papers and box came up and I decided to put my trust in Dennis and Chris. I am very particular when it comes to watches so the expectations were high. I can honestly say the experience I received was second to none. Dennis kept me fully up to speed throughout the process and answered all my questions thoroughly. The watch arrived in the agreed timeframe and is absolutely immaculate. These guys are so professional. Take it from me, you will not go wrong if you put your trust in them. I own a number of prestige watches and will certainly be back to purchase my next watch. The big 50 is on the horizon so I have asked Dennis to source me a vintage submariner from 1977. I am confident he will rise to the challenge. I look forward to working with them in the coming years as I increase my collection.

I recently purchased a stunning vintage 1970s Omega watch from Mayfair Watch for my dad’s birthday. The gold-plated case, described as 20 microns thick, looked impeccable, and after some research, I felt confident it would last. Dennis was incredibly patient and helpful, providing videos of the movement and details about its recent service, which eased my concerns about its age. When the watch arrived, it exceeded expectations—even better than the photos! My dad was overjoyed, as he’d dreamed of owning a watch like this since he was young. Even my son admired it. I recently had the pleasure of purchasing two watches for our anniversary from Mayfair Watch for my wife and me. Dennis was incredibly helpful, sending us numerous videos of the prospective watches. He also provided detailed pictures of the movements, which we found fascinating.

Once we agreed on a price, the watches arrived about a week later. When we inquired about the delay, we were informed that it was due to a Watch Register check and a thorough cataloging process that each watch must go through.

When the watches arrived, we were delighted! They came beautifully packaged with a well-designed care package and a protective leather travel pouch. My wife and I are both thrilled with our purchase. Dennis was recommended to us by a fellow collector who had previously bought from Mayfair Watch, and we can see why.

P.S. We received our detailed certificates for each watch about a week later for our insurance, and they are fantastic! 5-star service.

I’m sharing my experience with Mayfair Watches Limited after several attempts to communicate with them, which left me extremely disappointed. I initially reached out through Chrono24, email, and even Instagram, but unfortunately, my inquiries were met with silence and slow response.

I had a few basic and general questions regarding a watch I was interested in purchasing, including:

* "Are you based in the UK? Your responses seem to come at very unsociable hour"
* "Do you have a physical showroom to view the watches?"
* "What is your return policy?"
* "Would this watch fit a 7-inch wrist?"
* "Could you send additional pictures/videos on WhatsApp for a closer look at the condition?"

I asked these questions multiple times to get more information and put my mind at ease, especially since this was my first time using this platform to buy.

Regrettably, none of my questions were answered, and the lack of communication made me feel uneasy about the transaction.

To make matters worse, the few responses I did receive were unprofessional and included inappropriate homophobic comments, which to some people is highly offensive. I have screenshots of these exchanges, which I will be sharing as a warning to others.

Ultimately, I felt uncomfortable proceeding with this seller, and I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

Really disappointed with these guys. I purchased a Tudor Prince Day Date in Feb 2025 but had to cancel the order before delivery was made as a family member of mine had passed away and I could not proceed with the order. I made them aware of this in good time. They cancelled the order which was fine but when I enquired about another watch sometime after I received a sarcastic response from one of the owners Chris. I've attached screenshots of the IG messages for full transparency on the review I left on Google and these can be viewed there. These guys appear to be nothing more than flippers only interested in money with dodgy returns policies and no interest in actual customer service. It's very disappointing, and I would avoid if possible and buy from the better known online dealers such as watchfinder/subdial etc that actually prioritise customer service and customer care rather than funds hitting their business account asap at all costs. You have to do better guys, really poor! **UPDATE** Since this review was made the owner of the business a 'Chris Henry Fagan' or 'Chen Danli' has reported me to my professional regulators (I am a qualified lawyer) by filing a report against me on the basis that my review against the business made him feel 'disturbed' and 'distressed'. I am truly astounded by the level of unprofessionalism and malice that has been displayed by this business and it is truly extraordinary. I am updating this review so the public can see the conduct of the individuals behind this business and to think very carefully whether they wish to be subject to this conduct. The business owner has shown that he is willing to ensure that i lose my livelihood as a lawyer because a negative review was made against his business. I had no gain in making my original review, it was my right to do so and was based on my experience and feelings. Truly extraordinary!!!!!! TAKE CAUTION WHEN DEALING WITH THESE GUYS!!! **UPDATE** I am now in the process of issuing legal proceedings against this company and the individuals behind its running. I have now sent c.6 e-mails to the averred owners Chris Henry Fagan and Danli Chen all of which have gone unanswered. They have had a copy of the draft proceedings and they have been invited to come to the table re settlement. This has been met with silence. I think what may have happened is that these people now understand that they are in the deep waters with this and that they cannot simply spout nonsense to customers in Instagram messages and e-mails. They are a business and must act like it. I will keep this review updated with my claim which i am currently waiting to be issued by the County Court Money Claims Centre. I feel that potential customers must be aware of what they are dealing with in this company and the individuals behind it and I have a duty to provide this information via my own extraordinary experience with these people. **UPDATE** Following my previous interactions with Mayfair Watch, the situation has taken an even stranger turn. Today, I was alerted to a package being sent to my workplace via DHL by this business, without any prior notice, consent, or explanation.
I contacted Mayfair Watch twice by email to clarify what this package was, given that we are currently in a legal dispute. Both emails were completely ignored. However, I personally witnessed the DHL driver arrive at my office, retrieve the package from his vehicle, inspect it, and then return it to the van. I later spoke to the driver, who confirmed that the sender (Mayfair Watch) had requested the package be returned to them before delivery was completed.
The package was a large, square box — definitely not a letter or simple mistake. The timing, lack of communication, and abrupt recall strongly suggest this was a calculated attempt to provoke or unsettle me. This conduct is, in my view, unprofessional and concerning. It fits a broader pattern of erratic behavior I’ve experienced from this business, including:
• Sarcastic responses to legitimate customer enquiries,
• A retaliatory report to my professional regulator following a factual review, and
• Total radio silence when pressed to behave transparently and professionally.
I have now formally requested an explanation from the business and, once again, received no reply. I urge all potential customers to think carefully before dealing with this company. This is not how serious businesses behave — especially not those asking for thousands of pounds of your money.

There were issues with the customs declaration. But they handled the situation great. Fast responses, keeping me in the loop. Allround great and proactive communication. Will definitely recommend this shop and will buy again from them!

I first read about Mayfair Watch in Reddit from satisfied customers, so I gave it a go; never mind that they are based in the UK, and I, in Asia.

Transaction with Mayfair was seamless. Answers to my questions prior to deciding on a purchase were provided promptly and completely.

After purchase was made, Dennis made sure to keep me informed of the status, even willingly accommodating certain requests I made regarding the shipment.

The item I purchased was as described. The watch is in excellent condition. I also appreciate the extras that were included in the shipment, plus Dennis' offer to size the watch for me prior to shipping (the sizing was on-point when I received the watch).

The company knows its business and does it well; a company I will not hesitate to recommend and do business with again.
