Returns must be sent to China which is expensive. The company sells stuff that belongs in the dollar tree store or TEMU. Poor quality, Marketed as high end but its just junk... Then the hassle of returns. I had to get my credit card company involved as Mayberry's advertising is misleading, scam, fraudulent.

I only wish I had looked for reviews before placing the order. I paid over $60 for a blazer that said it was coming from North Carolina but turns out it came from China so it took weeks instead of days. The fabric is so cheap and thin that it mimics a night gown, the pockets on the jacket are fake. Just a piece of fabric sewn on but no pockets and there is no lining.
These things come from China and arrive late.

When the item finally arrived, it was wrapped in a plastic garbage-bag type wrapping, which I didn't even both to open. I will NEVER do business with this company again.
Costly return/Inferior quality
The product arrived and was of inferior quality. I decided to return , and then found I would have to ship the product back to China, AND pay a re-stocking fee !
I feel this is NOT at all made clear in the ordering process. I am very disappointed, and out my entire purchase price !- AVOID THIS COMPANY !!

The first red flag was the shipping company they use who tried to deliver the package at 9 pm and marked it as "undeliverable". The 3rd party shipping company was impossible to get ahold of. I then tried contacting Mayberry which also are IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of. Their phone line is only a busy dial tone. They do not respond to emails and if they do respond it's a sporadic generated email that does not address the issue. So despite trying to cancel my order after not receiving it, i did end up receiving the package (late) after trying to cancel my order and get a refund multiple times. Once i received the package, the shoes were NOT what i ordered. I ordered a leather/khaki pair and received a felt material BLACK color. I then tried reaching out via email once again to return these and get a refund SINCE THE COMPANY SENT THE WRONG COLOR. Not to mention, the quality and look is completely different than online. The company answered back with a generic email saying "for a small upcharge of $15 we will replace your item with something you like" not addressing THEIR MISTAKE sending me the wrong color that i DID NOT ORDER. I finally had to dispute the charges through paypal and thankfully received a refund (thank you paypal). DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I ordered two dresses and a pair of flip flops. The dresses came and I only opened one. No label and the material was drippy polyester. It gave me the willies touching it. I never bothered to try the second dress. I bundled the dresses up and left them by a dumpster! Scammed again. US address, but really a Chinese company!
SCAM. Period. NOT worth the time and money
The website makes you think that the store is based out of NORTH CAROLINA! It's not! I would give them NEGATIVE stars if I could! Items took too long to arrive. Upon arrival items were poorly made, they did not look exactly like the items on the website and the cost to return shipping was RIDICULOUS! To ship 2 items valued at less than $100.00 and weighed less than 1lb was insane. This site is a scam/fraud BUYER BEWARE! After beginning a return request as stated in policy, I was asked to prove why I requested a return on the items.I was asked to take pictures in the items and I refused. I took pictures of the items and the imperfections to prove that the dresses did not look like the advertisement. I was offered a 20% refund after I told them that I was not going to exchange the items nor send them back for $178.00! My suggestion, DO NOT BUY!
This seller misrepresented themselves…
This seller misrepresented themselves with North Carolina noted on the website page. They are in China and the return policy is not worth the cost or the time it will take to try and send it back for a small partial refund. The quality was terrible the colors were absolutely ugly and nothing like the images on the website. They show zero bad reviews on the site. Do not fall into the trap I'm so embarrassed that I did not do more research and see the real reviews showing my exact experience.

This company is terrible. They don’t have quality items- all plastic- see through. Awful! And their phones don’t work and e-mails bounce back! They stole from me!!!
Scam! Cheap, wrong merchandise!
Scam! Dishonest company! Do not order! I ordered pretty linen blouse through Etsy. What I got was a cheap polyester tee shirt in a child size. Company refused refund. Offered 45%, then 55% refund but I refused. Alternative is to send shirt back to CHINA at my cost, pay 15% 'restocking fee', and still only get partial refund. DO NOT ORDER. To be fair, return process is clearly stated in company policies. I just didn't read it. Still, If company sends WRONG ITEM it should refund 100%.

if i could give 0 stars, i would. this was the cheapest looking, poorest made product i have ever spent $ on. when i complained and followed ALL of thier return protocols, they only gave me a 15% return on my money and told me to do with the product as I wished. My refund was $11 and the shoes went in the trash. NEVER order from this company.

This company is not in North Carolina. It's in China so therefor returns are expensive due to the policy customers pay return shipping to China. Don't buy from this company.

I bought a pair of shoes and within three months they fell apart. I was at a restaurant. It was embarrassing. Never again. These shoes are cheaply made. And they are horrible.
This place is a scam
This place is a scam. It is a Chinese company masquerading as an American company. Returns are completely impossible as you have to mail the item to China. Avoid this company.
Scam based in China
I ordered 2 dresses and 3 pairs of orthopedic shoes. The dresses were very low quality and the shoes were not orthopedic. This is not a company based in North Carolina. The goods were shipped from China. Calling their customer service was a busy signal. No customer service. Emails seemed to answered by AI. I tried filing a complaint with PayPal. On a sale of $ 234 they offered 43 . PayPal said take it. I refused . Mayberry countered with an offer of 23 ! I declined. PayPal ruled for the company. This is a scam company . A waste of time and money.

Stay away from this company! I ordered a dress and trench coat. The dress was fine, coat was to small. Followed the directions for initiation a return and in the meantime I ordered the large. Instead of returning the jacket I was offered a 15% discount. I accepted this and decided to keep the smaller size and give it to my daughter. I then made another order and this is when I had problems. I ordered a white dress in a large and an extra large. This dress was of poorer quality than the first. I needed the dress for an event so I kept the one that fit and asked for approval to return the other. Their policy states you have 30 days to do a return but don’t tell you must get approval to return items. In my request to return the dress, I explained that I bought 2 sizes of the Kathy dress and needed to return the one that didn’t fit. Again I was offered a percentage off or I could select something else of equal value. I rejected both these options and reiterated that I wanted to return the dress. I then received an email asking what was wrong with the dress and to send a picture of the defect. I answered saying the dress wasn’t defective just the wrong size. I didn’t hear from them and after sending emails and waiting for their response, the window to return the dress was closing. They never responded so I disputed the charge with my CC company. Mayberry lied and said I had received a credit. This was a lie. The credit I received was from merchandise I had ordered but was told it wasn’t available and my money would be returned. They then said the dress was less than I paid for it put the order information/ receipt they sent my CC company had exactly the same amount listed for the dress. I don’t see why my CC company didn’t catch this. Mayberry lied and said I wanted to return the dress because of a defect. This was untrue. I wanted to return it because it didn’t fit. My CC company accepted their version of the disputed item but I will be calling them back and pointing out the descrepencies. I will check to see if they belong to the BBB. If so I will contact them as well.
