Quick and prompt attention
I walked in around 8:45 PM with a suspected flat tire for my Tesla Model Y and I was done and driving out in less than 40 mins with the screw removed and tires properly inflated. The service was not only prompt but courteous and the staff kept me smiling all through.

Good/Bad Customer Service
I had two vehicle inspections done in two of your store in two back to back days, Peekskill and Yorktown. 5 Stars for Peekskill, got all my documents. The day prior my other car was inspected in Yorktown. I wasn't provided the State of NY Inspection Report. I went to get it and was threaten by Brian? Manager, took pictures of my plate n vehicle and told me I would hear from his friend the cop! All because he didn't like my review.

Mavis in Yorktown Heights, NY
Been going to this particular Mavis in Yorktown Heights for over thirty Years. Wife's car needed a state inspection so she made an appointment for a Sunday at 1PM. Got a call in the morning stating their only inspection person called out. She made another appointment while on the phone for Monday at 11AM.
She gets there on time and is told that the inspection could not be performed because they "had run out of stickers". Didn't they know there were no stickers left the last time their only inspector was at work? When she asked why she didn't get a call this time to cancel the inspection, the person behind the counter said that he didn't get around to it yet and said he didn't care if she went to a competitor for service. Corporate was nice about it and arranged for an inspection about two hours later at the Mavis in Cortland. As it turned out, they gave me a free inspection for my wife's trouble, but failed the car's inspection for bad wipers, so the $35 I saved on the inspection paid for the wipers.

The service was great & timely. Isaac was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what was done, what was needed, and what should be tackled on the next visit. The other rep was also great. He was helping out from Carmel. Great team! I’ll be back..

Knowledgeable & helpful Manager
I brought my car for an inspection…Eric performed a thorough visual inspection before processing my vehicle informing me of potential issues. He was very knowledgeable and explained multiple solutions/alternatives which i found extremely helpful…excellent customer service.

The Worst Car service place ever.
I will not even give Mavis Discount Tire one star, they should get negative star.
We sent in our car to replace all tires because they are old, need to be replaced. First day, they said they found tires we need in their warehouse and they can do it the day we scheduled with them. Then at the end of day, they said they couldn't do it, has to be next day. Next day, half day passed, they said the tires will be shipped and they maybe able to finish the replacement. Half hour later, they called and said the tires work is done. We got in, paid and picked up the car. Then I notice the old tires are still on the car, nothing changed. So we walked in to talk to them. They said they thought we only need one tire changed, so they only changed one. Who will come in to change only one tire unless there is a flat. So I asked them which one we asked you change? How did you decide which one to change? They couldn't answer. One employee walked to the car with us, and he agree there was no singe tire has been changed.
What an outrageous experience, and I didn't hear they say sorry.
With such a bad management and a dishonest place, I will never use them ever again. I also recommend people staying away from this business.
