This place hires crooks….the location in Madison, MS is very deceitful……was charged for a part I didn’t give consent for……asked to see the faulty part, no response……filed claim with BBB, they didn’t respond……other shops in the area know their shady dealings…..you’re taking a chance here……!!….while waiting in the lobby customers are asked to give a five star review hence the ratings…….these thieves should disgust any hard working individual……

…..this place will rip you off!!……after being charged for a part I never consented to and was not informed of I took further action……filed a complaint against them with the BBB and Mavis never responded to it……beware, even the other car serviced in the Madison area know of their shady practices……..will continue to expose them through other review outlets……!

I went to Mavis Tire to have a flat tire fixed. Since I had a knock everytime I stepped on the gas from a stop, I asked if they would check my U-Joint. Mavis Tire, Kenny, went above and beyond in not only finding out it was NOT the U-Joint but actually took the time to inspect my 11 year old pickup to find several things that could be the cause, write them down with price quotes. Mavis Tire, Madison, MS is who I will continue to use for future repairs.

Oil change technician left filter out of filter housing and left his filter wrench in place on the filter housing. All oil leaked out of vehicle prompting emergency service to refill engine oil long enough to get to a service location and incurring costs for emergency service and remedial service to remedy the problem. It is unknown how much damage the vehicle may have incurred internally as a result of being without oil for a period of time. The Mavis location manager did not appear to want to accept responsibility for the issue, was totally unresponsive to any customer feelings and tried to avoid any reimbursement other than for the original oil change that was incorrectly performed. The refund document stated that “the oil seal was broken” instead of acknowledging error on the part of the servicing technician. No apology was given for the totally unacceptable service performance. My primary concern was the total lack of empathy demonstrated for the customers welfare and the failure to even ask if I and my wife were OK after the very stressful event or to ask how the company could make me well from the event. I asked several times to make a claim and the manager ignored that request saying he could only refund what I had previously paid. He did eventually contact someone by phone who he said approved refunding my cost of replacing the oil and filter at a different service provider. Please be especially careful and aware if you utilize Mavis as your automobile service provider.
