Very friendly service from Quanesha
Very friendly service from Quanesha. I needed two tires and an annual NYS vehicle inspection and because Quanesha was very kind and trustworthy I plan to return early next year to purchase two more tires from Mavis in Scarsdale. Good friendly service is paramount in the very competitive automotive service space.

They damaged my tire and did not take responsibilyt.
I brought my 2024 tesla for tire rotation.
They told me it was done and I paid for the service.
When i went to my car one of the tires was damaged. I pointed that out to the manager that i did not bring in the car that way. He was dismissive and said it came in that way.
In the past whenever I had brought my cars in for services they had always been quick to point out what was damaged and needed replacement. This time they never mentioned anything because they had damaged the tire themselves.
They refused to take responsibility for the damage and were very rude just walking away sort of giving me the finger indicating do what ever you want we are not responsible.
They did not tell me whether the car was safe to drive or not.
If you want to be treated horribly, have your car damaged and taken advantage of go to this mavis.
I have been in the scarsdale area for over 40 years and am going to urge all my friends to avoid this place because of this.

Charged $$ and told “You’re all set” Drove away and learned inspection failed
I was handed the keys, charged $37, and told “You’re all set.”
I got out to the car and saw that the 2023 inspection sticker was not affixed. After I went back I was told Car failed inspection based on an emission issue. I should have been told before I got in my car and started to drive.

Very very disappointed! Lying & scamming!
My niece took her car to the Mavis in Scarsdale, NY for a brake job, she needed new brakes for the front & back, & 4 rotors to be replaced. They quoted her just over $700 for the job. We let them know we already bought the rotors & just need them installed (usually $20 per rotor) with the brake job ($114 for front & $114 for back), the total should have been +/- $310 plus tax. They still quoted us $680 with my rotors! Tried actually lied & tried to charge us $120 labor per rotor! What a scam! Beware of Scarsdale Mavis! Filing a complaint with corporate! BTW… took the car to Mavis in Franklin Square (Franklin Ave), Russ and his crew couldn’t be more professional! Same job, total price $347 with tax. Thanks Russ!

I was disappointed when I heared your master mechanic (Andrew) was no longer working at your shop. Andrew was a highly competent mechanic that was honest, well mannered and trust worthy. Loosing him was like losing the only barbar I was comfortable with. You lost my business and will convince my friends to avoid this shop.
