Mavis Tire - Palm Harbor Anmeldelser 20

So it's been about 1 1/2 weeks since I had my tire patched here. I've driven no more than 20 miles and the tire with the patch is showing low pressure again. I took it in. They explained there is another nail , this one is close to the sidewall. So patching is not an option. So we discuss getting a new tire $150-$200.

I ask about getting a refund on the patch as they clearly missed the 2nd nail. Had I know obviously I would not have patched and just gotten a new tire.

They said "No" because there is no way to PROVE that it was missed, and I didn't drive over another nail. I said you can check the Odometer reading from my last visit - I don't have 20 miles on it.

While I can't be 100% sure I didn't drive over another nail in exact same tire in that 20 miles I drove in 10-12 days it seems the more likely they found the one nail *patched* and never did a 2nd pressurized test to find the other one

I cannot PROVE they didn't know about the 2nd nail - patched it and then waited for me to come back and sell me a tire on top of the patch.

I mean, if I am not 100% sure, then I guess I'll use their logic.

I am now having my tires serviced by another company.

So then I started checking out their positive reviews on Google. Amazingly, one reviewer, Ginger, was having a bad couple of weeks.

She had to have her tires serviced 21 times in 2 weeks by 21 different shops. Amazingly, all the Mavis tire reviews were 5 stars. Some of those shops are an hour away.

Great experience! I needed to have a new tire mounted and balanced and needed a tire rotation. After calling around, Mavis had the lowest price and the availability I was looking for. The day of the maintenance one of the reps reviewed what was being done that day with me and made sure I didn't have any questions or concerns before they began work. Within an hour, my vehicle was ready to go. I've used this location a few times now and I will continue to go to them. Fast, friendly and professional service for a reasonable price.

Monday morning, TPMS indicates one tire down 6 pounds. I stop by my local Mavis in Palm Harbor, FL to make an appointment. Instead, they repair the issue immediately and in 30 minutes my day is looking better!

Best customer service everytime!!! They are so accommodating, trustworthy and reasonably priced. I have had to go on two different occasions due to flat tires and they always treat me very well. They have a very nice waiting area and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. They are good about keeping me updated on the process of the service while I'm waiting. I highly recommend them!

They took me for a ride! Sure, they seem very nice and trustworthy, but in reality, they are very dishonest mechanics. I went in to have them replace a tire that maybe they could have fixed. Chris ran out to deliver me the news that I was in danger driving the car and that they would have to do a lot of work on it. They charged me 8 hours of labor over something they could fix in an hour. On top of it, after spending 2,000$ ( I had to bring back the car three times) The car is still not running how It's supposed to. Of course, the manager told me that the car needed more work and that I would have to spend another 700$ on it! I took it to a different mechanic which fixed the problem immediately and my car is finally riding smoothly... I would have a lot more to say, but I'm so upset and disappointed. The manager made sure that I would write a few great reviews, at the beginning...I will never go back to that place again!
