Went in for a tire rotation and realized I needed an inspection it was no problem the service manager got it done and the guy working on my car got me out fast, I prefer this store over the others in my area and have been going here for years, I get 110% satisfaction every time!

Horrible experience
Took my vehicle to get an inspection, oil
change and quote for tires.
The man behind the counter told myself
along with my daughter that we only need
3 new tires. One of the tires was pretty new
which was actually true.
Nick, the man behind the counter stated
that he would get everything done on that
Sunday. Myself and my adult daughter
who drives the car as well proceeded to
ask Nick about the tires, tire rotation and
the wheel alignment. Nick stated “don't
worry we'll get all of that done when we
put the new tires on.”
About an hour later Nick call to say that
the car needs new brakes, without it the
car would fail inspection. He neglected to mention that my brakes were done by a different Mavis location in June of 2022 and they are still under warranty. When I brought that to his attention he proceeded to tell me the full cost of the brakes along with the labor
price. Without acknowledging the recent brake replacement or warranty.
Fast forward. The car was driven that
Monday thru Friday after the completion of
the work. The dash displayed error
messages and the steering wheel was
shaking severely when driving on the highway. Called Mavis that following Friday. Milton stated I was not charged for a wheel alignment and one was not done. I explained what Nick said the previous week and he stated that he
does not know what Nick said or did and I
can bring the car back for a check up and
possible wheel alignment.
Saturday morning took the car back. Nick
Was there who basically LIED stating we never discussed him doing any wheel alignment. He kept talking over me and when I raised my voiced he tried to act like he was the victim and acted like I was screaming at him. Then he
asked me which one of the wheels were
shaking. The other Manger shocked his
head too because I said to Nick twice upon
arrival that it was the steering wheel. Not
sure if he spoke down to me because I
was a woman or a minority.
About two hours later. Mavis called to say
my rotators were warped. So I asked. You
told me last Sunday I needed brakes, and
the brakes and pads were replaced and the
warped rotators were not visible at that
time?
Told Mavis I would be picking up my
vehicle. Called the corporate office
(914-498-2500) who advised me to take the
car to another Mavis to make sure all the
Previous work was done correctly and a
regional manager will follow up with me
and my grievances.
That same day. Took the car to another
Mavis. News flash my rotators are not
warped the new tires needed to be balanced. Turns out that wasn’t done initially.
One manager at the other Mavis stated the guy you dealt with sounds like a crook.
I have been a loyal costumer to Mavis for
many years and I will continue to be. But I
will advise everyone I know where to and
where NOT to go.

This location has the most awesome staff!!! Chris was so helpful getting us in this morning, I can’t thank him enough!! I always use this location just because of the staff!!! I am writing this review in regards to the manager at the smithtown location. Steve went above and beyond my expectations in assisting me in the issue I had with my tire. He was professional and extremely helpful. I can't write enough on how pleased I am with the service I received from smithtown Mavis. He even squeezed me in that evening to fix my tire. Highly recommend!

I had a nail in my tire
I had a nail in my tire. Brought it up to Mavis and Steve the manager and the mechanics took care of me.
As long as Steve’s there I’ll never bring my car anywhere else.

Just brought 1 of my 3 daughters cars…
Just brought 1 of my 3 daughters cars in for an inspection. Steve got me in and out 15 minutes, great as usual. Dave checked out the car for anything that may need to be done in the future. He is always on top of his game👍
