these guys no NOTHING about changing tires
wouldn't remove old weights, didn't balance using red dot for reference, didn't use slippery stuff on tire bead, told him to set at 34psi, left at 38 and 36psi which tripped of my TPMS light, didn't change out old valve stems. Over torqued tires to 150lbs (told him Honda says 87lbs, I re-torqued them myself) Totally rotten service and work. I have a new car and he was filthy and looked like he just got outta bed. (I already had my seats covered) I will tell everyone about my experience there at Lake Charles LA and instead of manager fixing problem she sited with him. Said he was in the US Navy coast guard like that is suppose to mean something. called Corporate and gave me a run around. Took car to Sulphur Mavis and they fixed all the problems, they are good people and won my business (they also knew about the people involved, bad reputation)

We did find an open ticket with your information and see this was resolved by Regional Manager Jane. In reference to ticket 883370 the solution was resolved at one of our other locations which was a rebalancing of tires as well as a voucher to use in the future. Brought in my car for a brake job
Brought in my car for a brake job. Was told I needed new lug nuts also. Was given a price for the lug nuts which was $40-$50. Was given a cost for complete job of $700. When I went to pay the cost was $855. When I questioned the assistant manager why the increase he told me they charged me what AutoZone charged them for the nuts- $10 apiece(x20). Looked them up on AutoZones web site and they are $2 apiece. I was lied to and cheated out of $160. First and last time I will use Mavis Tire
