Ripped Off
Took two different cars to the shop for State Inspection. Was told both of them needed new control arms to pass, among other things. I have limited knowledge of vehicle repairs, but I am a professional and expect others to treat me fairly in their profession. It has since been brought to my attention that multiple others have had the same “issue” with their cars from this location. Thousands of dollars unnecessarily spent. I will never go back to that location. What a shame.

Funny how all of the 5 star reviews…
Funny how all of the 5 star reviews mention Kapeel, not a common name and they are all spelled correctly. He told me that my car was not going to pass inspection without $2000 in repairs, then he offered me "a couple of hundred for the car."

They were great
They were great. The Mavis in Scranton didn't tell us that their inspector was out and they were unable to do our inspection. The guys in Dickson City took us without an appointment and we were out in under an hour.

Horrible service
Horrible service. I got my back breaks done here. They have kids working who just fooled around, yelled and took breaks every few minutes which an hour job took two days to fulfill. They also broke a piece while working on the breaks and I was told “he accidentally hit it too hard but I wouldn’t be charged for it”. Over the phone I was quoted $350 which I should have got a written statement saying so because when I picked it up the next day after they said it would be looked at first thing it was done in the afternoon it came out to $650. Which is insane. I would never go back here again and I would never recommend them. They don’t put the customers first and change their minds daily.

Quick and great service!
My friend and I were in the middle of a trip and had a little mishap, needing car work done en route. The folks at Mavis Tire were incredibly helpful and had us in and out in record time so that we could continue on our way (Holly was awesome!). We made it to our destination safely and with no more issues!
