My granddaughter a senior at UNG came in to check on a noise she was hearing with our Honda CRV with only 34,000 miles. We,her grandparents, that live in St Mary’s GA couldn’t get up to check on our car. We advised Abby to take it to Mavis in Dawsonville, GA. They told her she needed new rotors and breaks. Over $750.00 later she had this done. Abby works at a restaurant for tips while she is attending UNG and student teaching this semester. Now she has a $750+ bill on her credit card that she has to pay off! Not pleased with taking advantage of a 22 year old young lady! The date below is an appropriate time she had this done.

David (store manager) is a top notch guy. My daughter is a college student at UNG and we live in Savannah. Two times his crew has helped my daughter with her brakes & A/C. They are very understanding, reasonably priced and do a great job.

I bought my tires here last year with great experience. Today I had 2 holes that needed attention, and great service and experience again! Nice people to work with.

I called in to the local store, and they ordered the tires I wanted, saying they would call me first thing in the morning when the delivery arrived. They called me at 10:00 am, told me to come right in, and they would fit me in. I arrived at approximately 10:50. They took my car in at about 11:05, and I was done by 12:15. Great job, guys.

Great price get me in quickly friendly staff

Mavis was recommended to our family by a friend, as we do not have a tire shop. Today, my air pressure light came on for a tire. I have only had the brand new vehicle a little over 30 days. So I had stopped at a store on Hwy 400 and aired up the tire. Started back on my way home, and the air pressure light came back on. Stopped at Mavis with no appointment, no call ahead and was taken right in as a customer. A metal piece was found up in the back bumper ledge, so the culprit of my issue. The service guys physical showed me the metal piece and where my inside wall of tire was punctured. My husband called to inform me we have tire protection with the new vehicle. So the shop guys traded out my spare tire for the damaged one, let me know the spare did not have an air pressure sensor, as they made sure it was properly aired up for travel. And wished me well and sent me on my way... FREE of charge.. Dustin, assist manager, all entire staff was AMAZING!!
I cannot thank them enough for their honesty, professionalism and quick service. I am now a Mavis customer from this day forward. They were a blessing to me today and it was GREATLY APPRECIATED.

My review would be zero stars if Google allowed it. I had a flat tire three days ago. Once I realized it was not repairable (taking off truck at home), my wife called to make an appointment for Friday morning at 11AM. She used the Mavis card to pay a $25 deposit to guarantee the right tire would be there before the appointment. Friday morning, I received an email stating the appt time was now 9AM. I showed up at 8:45 AM. Justin, the manager told me they don’t have the tire there yet and it will be another hour or two. I decided to go have breakfast and wait for his call to tell me the tire arrived. After a bit of time, I called the store and changed my appt to Saturday at 8AM, when the store opens. I called around 4Pm Friday afternoon to verify the tire would be there for Saturday morning. Justin answered the phone and stated the tire had just arrived. Had I not changed my appointment time to Saturday, I would have waited all day Friday for my tire to be replaced. I arrived at the store at 8Am Saturday morning and bike of the mechanics were there yet. I heard the young lady (previously stated she had been there for 3 days and just started work there) tell another customer the mechanics were not at work yet. So, I waited until around 9Am to walk outside by the bays where I saw the employees having a BA session for some time, and saw my truck was in the lift. The impact gun was on one of the lugs and stirring there. The mechanic was standing outside smoking a cigarette and no work had been done yet. I walked back into the store and waited for the young lady to ask me for what I needed. I told her the sage from day 1. I then told the manager Justin they had management issues. Employee late to work and I have been there over an hour to have one tire replaced. He said no worries and he would get me taken care of right away. I walked outside to see them lower the lift. The mechanic was using his impact gun to torque the lugs. I left and went to Discourn Tire. I first checked the lugs on my spare tire on the trucks no work done. The is at Daxount tire noticed they had damaged all of my lugs but. The heads were all sunk in form over tightening the luges. I have pictures and Rg is is now documented. I have filed a complaint with Mavis corporate and expect a call from Wyatt, a regional manager. The call will come this next Monday. I have a documents case number as well. The new lug nuts are costing me $90 and tax today.

I had a problem with my engine running rough. I went straight to Mavis. Austin was on the issue right away and determined that I had a bad coil pack that was causing my engine to misfire. It was replaced and I haven't had any issues with that again. These guys are the best. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my truck. I will need tires soon, and will go to Mavis for them too. Justin, Austin, Brandon, Kimberly, "Shorty" and the rest of the team are nice, knowledgeable, and get you in and out as quickly as possible. I trust no one else with my truck.

I was in a jam in dawsonville and they helped me out.

I got my brakes changed out. They found the brake calipers to be damaged. They immediately got me and took me to look at them. They changed those and did my tire rotation. Not only were they knowledgeable, professional and helpful but they even helped me on the price!

The employees are always amazing and gets the job done in a timely manor

This oil change cost me around $400 bucks. The tech did not properly screw back on my gravel shield on the bottom of my Audi. A few days later if fell off on highway 400. I had to get my car towed from United Towing which was $240 and then another $100 to get my mechanic to repair. I also called Mavis and told them about what happened and whoever answered the phone said they would have the manager call. No one bothered to call me back. Very bad experience.

I am a repeat customer
Today I was servicing my wi wife’s car. Customer service was as always an outstanding. Service technician did a great job too. Recommend everyone to use this shop for oil change and tire needs.

William is a great manager and very customer service oriented. My reviews with Google a year ago was 5 star and it remains. I'm a big box manager and lack of associates is across the board. Those that do not know retail , can't understand, but to be patient and kind is the key. Noone has entitlement. All clients are.equal.

I called to several of the tire stores in the area and none could help me change the tires on my 1929 Ford Model A. (I provided the new tires, tubes and rim liners.). William, the manager at Mavis told me to bring the tires down he will take a look to see if his machines would work. When he saw the tires he was doubtful but wanted to try anyway. He made it work and he was able to remove the old tires and replace the rim liners, tubes and tires.
When everyone else said no right off the bat without even looking to see if they could change the tires, William stepped up to the plate and figured out how to do it.
