Mavis Tire - White Plains Anmeldelser 

Placing my review here as a warning to others who may visit either the White Plains or Scarsdale NY locations of Mavis. Trying to keep it “polite.” In two consecutive weeks local Mavis shops have screwed up my tire reservation and installation. The first time was at the White Plains location at 22 Russell St. I confirmed our order for four tires and the appointment multiple times. They wouldn’t stop emailing and texting me to confirm. “YES, I’ll be there!” Despite confirming, when I arrived, I was told my tires were not there. The front desk client rep tried to switch me into other tires (which weren’t all weather, which is what I needed) and the rep joked I should go to Pepboys… and then informed me that Mavis owns Pepboys. Haha! Are you serious? I needed those tires so I could take my son to college, which is 3 hours away. The minivan gets heavy with all his stuff. You parents know the drill. So anyway, I called corporate, which apologized, offered a $35 voucher, and personally promised to handle it. The national sales rep then set up the new appointment at the Scarsdale location at 865 S. central Avenue, also near me. He puts in the order for my tires and says he swears up and down they’ll make it right. Well, our roadtrip is tomorrow, and I just returned from the Scarsdale Mavis and they only have 3 of the 4 tires. The store’s attendant, god bless her, was very nice, but explained that a lot of people apparently order tires and never show up so they sell them to others rather than actually reserving them for the reservations. Of course, I showed her my reservation for the four tires (again, made by corporate) and she just shrugged her shoulders. How does this business operate knowing they do not honor reservations? What recourse do we have when a business like this operates with total disregard for its customer? Anyway, that’s my Mavis story, and it was beyond poor. Very soon, you’ll see a prewritten apology from Mavis posted beneath this review (which reads exactly the same on every other negative review about Mavis everywhere else, whether on Google or Yelp), with a phone number asking me to reach out. Just know I did reach out. And nothing. For what it’s worth, my recommendation is to order via a respected local shop, which is built on reputation. Just one very frustrated man’s experience.

I brought my car to Mavis Discount Tire for service, and I had an excellent experience! The shop was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick and professional.

Mariah checked me in at the counter, she was knowledgeable, kind, and had such a warm smile. The manager Ricardo, also came over to introduce himself and made sure I had everything I needed. Everyone there made me feel genuinely welcomed and valued as a customer.

I’ll definitely be coming back to this location for future service. Great job to the whole team! 👏🚗

I had a tire valve stem issue with my tire. The asst mgr Doug was very helpful in getting my tire fixed promptly and professionally. I have only good words for white plains mavis store.

What made my experience so great after having 2 run flat tire blowouts was the caring demeanor Paul and Eduardo showed me in my moment of “despair”
Especially due to high cost of each tire. Paul left a phone message that actually made me laugh and Eduardo was so appreciative that I had a favorable review of the staff he made me smile!

I spent two days trying to get 4 tires for my suv and both days are a waist of time, after 7 hrs with my car they call me to telling me they can't no put 4 tires on my rims because the machine will scratch it. Unbelievable service whe you need them the must.
