Reliable & Trustworthy
Mavis has been a reliable and trustworthy place to take my vehicle. I was even recommended to go to this location because of my friend’s numerous positive experiences. Going there myself also confirmed this as well. They will shoot you straight and won’t try and convince you to get work that isn’t necessary. As a female that can be hard to come by and I’m very happy taking my vehicle here.

Communicating sucks at the Mavis on…
Communicating sucks at the Mavis on University in Huntsville Alabama even being lied to by the regional manager and he is not even communicating how do you take your car to get power steering fixed rack and pinion and the tire rods and a gasket with new bolts put on and I pick my car up after they had it for 7 days and it want go over 10mph. My car is not a brand new car and my transmission wasn’t bad either especially to just go out while sitting and being repaired for 7 days. The transmission has never gave major problems at all never before I took it to the Mavis. And I had horrible customer service after they tried to not tell me my car was messed up already. Smh

Dear customer, we're so sorry for your experience. We were able to find your ticket in our system. Our Regional Manager, Chad, investigated your claim extensively. It was confirmed that the work performed on the vehicle at our location was not in any way related to or located near the transmission. Regardless of that, Chad offered to have the vehicle towed to a local transmission shop for a diagnosis. We are waiting for the diagnostic from the shop to understand their findings and once we have those we can proceed with any next steps on the claim! Should you need to talk to Chad again dont hesitate to call us at 914-984-2500 option #2 and reference our ticket number #809269.

I took my car in to the Mavis shop on
I took my car in to the Mavis shop on University Drive for excessive vibration. They told me I needed a $530 brake job, but they neither found nor fixed the underlying problem (blocked brake hoses), so the problem persisted and I had to take it to another shop to get it fixed right. The entire brake job had to be redone, so that was $530 wasted. I called Mavis' 1-800 line, but they were no help at all. Don't waste your money.
