Would give a zero if possible
Worst “company” ever. I wish I had seen these reviews first. I cannot believe I was scammed by these people. Their so called jewelry probably cost about 5 cents to make in a sweatshop. I was scammed for $59 and was told that it had to be returned to China not from LA where the package originated from. Funny thing is Raph only offered me 15% to keep the ugly rings as I read he offered up to 25% to others. Do your homework people. They are so ugly and crappy quality I don’t even want them. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY. There is a place in hell for companies like this that scam other people from their hard earned money.
This is yet another scam from China
This is yet another scam from China. The ring looked nothing like the picture. Was very cheap and not worth the money. I first had to take pictures of it which I did, and then they sent me an address in China where it should be returned. This would cost more than the ring. They also offered 20% refund and I could keep the ring. I have opened a dispute with the credit card company.
Real rating: NO stars
If I could rate this no stars, I would. Same as all the other reviews. Cheap, crappy jewelry arrived. I tried to return it and was offered a 15% discount. I insisted on returning and paid quite a bit to return it to China, but I didn't want to keep their cheap crap. Not sure I will get a refund, because I started getting emails about them closing their doors, which I assume is part of the scam. As if there is even a real shop! Like another reviewer, unless it is a known entity, I won't be shopping online anymore.
This is such a scam
This is such a scam! They photo beautiful, quality jewelry, but send cheap and tacky stuff of questionable material. The design is not the same either, only an awkward replica. They do extensive marketing and saying things like going out of business, last day for sale. Then then get your order with the beautiful jewelry shown, deliver it 2-3 weeks later and it is crap. When you want a refund you have to pay to send it back to China. So, if you keep the jewelry they have the full amount you paid. If you want to return it they offer the option of a 25% refund and keep the rest.
Total scam
Total scam. Do not buy from them. The jewelry is cheap. Look at the photo they advertise vs what you really get
Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company. Their jewelry comes from China. Very expensive to return any items. Their claims are a scam.
Do not order anything from this…
Do not order anything from this company. SCAM. They are not going out of business. The rings I ordered do not match as shown online. Tried to return for a refund and got the runaround. Items ship from IL, but they expect you to pay for shipping to China, which costs $48, and I paid $57 for the rings.
FRAUD!!
FRAUD!!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS CROOK!! THEY SEND YOU A BUNCH OF WIRES AND NOT JEWELERY. THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR PRODUCT AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST. DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY; THEY ARE OUT TO STEAL IT!!!
BEWARE! This cynical scammer really deserves ZERO stars
They really deserve ZERO stars. The AI-made fake front website pretends to be a family business running an upscale boutique jewelry business that is having a closing-out sale. The company is flooding social media channels with these "going out-of-business" sales ear-round. The cynical appeal to emotions in their claims stands in stark contrast to the manipulative and deceitful practices towards the unsuspecting victims.
THE CLAIM: "Every piece in our collection is lovingly crafted to celebrate connection — between generations, between people, and with yourself. Inspired by timeless bonds and everyday beauty, our jewelry is made to feel personal, meaningful, and uniquely yours. At Matila & Milo, we believe in creating with heart: thoughtful designs, handmade details, and a little sparkle to brighten your story."
THE REALITY:
This is a fraudulent dropshipping mass-scamming operation that instead of mailing the "lovingly hand-crafted" pieces ships mass-produced cheap fake costume trinkets out of China that look significantly not as described.. When customers realize they've been duped, they are told that their returns cannot be processed until the full shipment is returned back to the address in China:
Return Address:
Contact Name: Wang Maoqin
Address: Lane 1177, Jianlan Road, Meixu Street, Yinzhou District
City: Ningbo
Zip Code: 315100
Province: Zhejiang

Tel: +86 15314571683
Previous victims mentioned that this address is false as well. There is no recourse left for those who were seduced by the glossy instagram pictures advertised on social media.
BEWARE: Matilda & Milo is a deceitful scam operations that tuns on false pretenses and constantly targeting new victims to defraud.

Negative Negative Negative
If I could give them less than a 1, I would. I DO NOT recommend buying from them. They admired the ring I bought did not match the appearance or desperation of the website but they refuse to give me my money back. They want to give me a 20% discount on my next order. I’ll now go dispute it with the cc company to see if I can get my money back.
If I could give it ZERO stars I would
If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. I ordered a ring for my daughter in January, to be shipped to my daughter who lives in another state. I paid for the order with my card and provided my billing address for said card. Matildamilojewels changed my daughters shipping address to my billing address. It ended up in my local USPS and upon arrival automatically stamped it RETURN TO SENDER due to my daughter not receiving mail at my cards billing address. No ring, No credit for return, just the run around. Don't waste your time or your money.
Don't bother
Don't bother. Cheap, cheap, cheap, SCAM. Painted, high shine, ridiculous dupes of enhanced photography.
I got a ring as a gift and it does not…
I got a ring as a gift and it does not fit. I reached out to the company and they gave me a return address and said I would have to pay to send it back. They gave an address in China and it would cost $300!!! 🤬 What horrible business practice.
This is a scam
This is a scam. I ordered a few items from their website and received cheap ugly knockoffs. The quality of the products that I received did not match descriptions and photos on their website. I requested and refund and shipped all the items back at my own expense in October of 2025. It's February 2026 now, and no refund issued. They claim that they never received it, although the USPS tracking number shows that the package cleared customs in China on January 15th. USPS cannot track past that. Do no buy from them.
Wake up call! Products are crap and you can't return
I add my voice to the others calling this company a total, utter scam. The products are crap and look nothing like the photos on the website. In order to return them, you have to mail them to somebody's personal-sounding address in China! It's bizarre, plus the cost of returning a small package to China is $37, while the cost of the items was $42. I am just going to consider it a wake up call and will be much more cautious about buying ANYTHING on the internet.
Awful
I read reviews for this company after I had placed my order. I tried to cancel the order the same day. I was told the order could only be canceled within the first 30 minutes after the order was placed. I received the order and tried to return it. That is when the shipping address for the return was given to me, and it was in CHINA! The jewelry is of terrible quality. I ordered four items and wouldn't wear any of them. DO NOT ORDER from this company!
WARNING
I am putting this information out to warn other customers.
I ordered the Ocean Serenity Necklace. I think most will agree that the picture of it is fabulous, and I was attracted by the $100 off, and also the fact that it is handcrafted – pictures of a storefront suggest that the shop is located somewhere in a quaint part of America, with a white American woman with blond hair carefully crafting each item as they advertise.
After waiting over a month for it to arrive, with various emails apologizing for the delay, it did finally arrive. Unfortunately, it looked nothing like the photos. The frame was the same, but the blue was a piece of cheap plastic, and there were no stones on it as in the marketing picture. I value it at around $6.00. I contacted customer service, who were very polite and said they would be happy to refund my money if I returned the product. They provided me with an address in China. However, they wanted me to have the item tracked before they would refund my money.
I packed up the necklace and went to UPS, only to find that tracking an item back to China would cost double the value of the item. I paid $34 for the necklace, and the cost of returning it to China (with tracking) was a cost of $64, and this was the lowest price. Obviously, I was not going to do this, so I contacted customer support again and received yet another polite email saying they would be happy to refund me 20% (a value of $6.00 and I could keep the product.) I told them I did not want the product and requested a full refund, as it was not what was advertised. I then received a repeat email – signed by a different name – from customer support suggesting I send it back to China for a full refund. I then realized these ‘polite’ emails are AI-generated, and there was no personal contact going on regarding my complaint.
I have since dropped the issue as it is not worth my time, and I will probably throw out the piece of jewelry, as I would not wear anything plastic. My lesson – but I want to warn others. There are positive trust pilot reviews on their website, so perhaps I was unlucky and had a damaged product. (Their website also states that they have had over 1432 reviews on Trustpilot, but on the Trustpilot site, it says they have had 59 reviews...which one is accurate?)
Be warned - when they say a 30-day money-back guarantee, it will cost you more to get your money back. Very disappointed and feel as though I have been scammed.
I’ve been cutting back on accessories…
I’ve been cutting back on accessories lately, so I chose a very simple pendant. It has a reassuring weight and doesn’t bounce or shift.
Long shipping time & poor quality
Long shipping time, poor tracking visibility (shipped from China) and poor quality. Very cheap materials, not at all as pictured - the metal is not stainless steel nor real silver - looks and feels costume. 'Gemstones' are wavy, not smooth & somewhat cloudy. High price for junk jewelry. No phone number to contact - should have noticed this red flag before ordering. I'd recommend staying away from this site and the many other on-line sites with duplicate jewelry - they are scams...shame on me for falling for beautiful story & AI created site!
I would give them Zero stars if…
I would give them Zero stars if possible. The jewelry is junk. It barely represents what you see online, only a cheap and tacky version when you receive it. I told them I wanted to return it all. I got an address, and it sat in a postal area in China for three months. When it got returned, it had been stamped "refused." They refused the return, even after saying I could return it, and after sending it back at my expense. They're a scam company. Don't buy anything from China.
