Match group. Do Not Waste your time with any of their dating sites , such as hinge/okc/pof/. All fake Profiles just to keep you on their sites. Fake messages.
And when you are on to them and massage them to question to ask them are these Profiles real . They banned you and you no longer can ask anything. Stay away for your safety from these fake sites. BIG TIME SPAM.

Do not even waste your time, especially if you are a Gen X aged person. The VAST Majority of profiles are fake romance scammers, or are inactive, and/or from former members who have not been on the site in years that they keep circulating to create the illusion they have more members than they actually do. They manipulate the algorithm to get you to pay more and more money for extras that do not deliver. Just say no

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR SUBSCRIPTION ON ANY OF MATCHGROUP DATING SITES!!!!! I’d give this company a zero if it were possible. I tried this dating app and after 2 months I decided it wasn’t for me. I signed up directly with the site for 6 month subscription so couldn’t cancel through Apple. I tried to cancel my subscription on the website so it wouldn’t automatically renew. A pop up showed up stating that I can only cancel 48 hours before renewal date or with 24 hours after. I set the date in my diary and tried to cancel approx 6 times during this timeframe and the same pop up kept showing up. I contacted match and their AI bot said I can cancel but will need to pay until the subscription was up. So I cancelled on the website agreeing to pay an additional 6 months on the premise it would would not renew at the end. 3 years later I’m still paying 9.99 per month when I’ve cancelled my subscription, deleted the app. In the the interim I’ve emailed matchgroup contacted the customer competition and complaints organisations in Dublin and Europe but matchgroup is elusive and moved their head office out of Ireland into elsewhere in EU. I emailed the European consumer protection and complaints organization and they diverted me back to the one in Ireland. I even tried to cancel with my bank to stop payments coming out and still I’m paying 9.99 per month. In total I’ve now paid in the region of €360 for a service I neither want nor use, it’s ridiculous.

This company is a poor company. I remember back in the day it was a very good programme. You can add matches, and if you want to have more matches, you just pay. Now you can pay every week and you get nothing. Oh yeah, you get a lot of spam, like a tree liking you or something, and I don't get really tired of this kind of scam programmes. I rather pay for a match, so let's say woman 50 euros; then I'm sure that I can find out how this works together, but now you're scamming me every week. I remember they have a bottle; they have a lid, but on this app there is no lid for every bottle.

I would give this company a zero if i could , and i have contacted the NYS Attorney Gerneral froaud office.
I joined last week, 2/26/26. Before i could even finish my profile i was flood with messages from profiles....this seemed strange. After setting up profile Bio and pictures the messages flooded in, Im a Average looking guy. Red flags going off now.
So here is how they scam customers. I bought credits to send messages to the profile that caught my eye...$ 89.95 for a couple thousand credits. Each message sent cost 100-150 credits. I found out only after buying package.
Now heres the real fraud, not one profile on the site that contacted me was a real person. All were AI profiles. Photos were perfect. The conversation went from 0- 90mph toward sexual talk. Red flag #2
So i start asking harmless questions
Wheres your favorite place in that city, the profile claimed were from. Response...... redirect
Favorite restraurant or food. Response .......redirect or non at all
What day and time is it ......the message cursor spin for minutes then stopped. No message. The AI had no idea because it cant know all the times for customers its messaging.
Realizing App ICupid to be a scam i deleted my profile and messaged the complaint bot my findings and intentions to complain
Within 12hrs of waiting for response ICupid ran three more additional charges of $89,95. And got the money before i could stop payment.

The Match dating site experience has been a nightmare since I started on January 13! It took me over one week to get the sign in process to work so that I had access to the site. Since then I've had numerous problems with signing in, many failed attempts to change my password or email address, on going failure with not being able to review other profiles and messages, lack of communication and no response from customer support to my specific issues, etc. It's been extremely frustrating. I recently have asked Match for a refund and to cancel my subscription and to erase all my emails, accounts and any personal info and data that they have stored on their servers to no avail. I thought that Match may have cleared my problem because I was able to sign in recently but two days ago the problem returned and I now am unable to sign in! I have reset my password and my email numerous times and I have been emailing the Match customer support team numerous times every day. They have not responded back.Match is making a huge mistake by not having a real person to handle customer care issues

They will transfer you from another one of their apps without giving you new sign-in information for this one. You wrongly assume that you will have the opportunity to fix that issue manually. Then they will take your money. Then they will lock you out. Then you won't be able to sign back in and their support team (which is extremely slow/unresponsive) won't be able to locate your account. It then falls on you and your financial institution to block recurring payments from going to this massive dating website conglomerate.

I hope hell exists and that the people who made this company burn in it for eternity. Either that or karma comes along and destroys these people in the most painful possible way. Started using these apps when I was 19 years old. I'm 34 now and still no girlfriend. Absolute waste of my life and time.

I strongly caution anyone considering OkCupid, or any Match company account. My account was permanently banned after I declined to engage with unwanted advances and allegedly made a minor, one-time photo mistake—my first photo was not a face photo, even though my profile clearly included multiple photos of my face. Other major dating platforms do not impose or clearly disclose such rigid requirements, and a permanent ban for a harmless, correctable issue is wildly disproportionate.

OkCupid repeatedly cited its “Terms of Use” but refused to identify any specific rule violation, evidence, or explanation. There was no warning, no meaningful appeal, and no transparency. This is not how reputable platforms treat paying users acting in good faith.

More concerning is the culture this enables: trivial rules are enforced aggressively, while harassment, bullying, and malicious reporting are tolerated—especially when users assert boundaries or decline engagement. This creates an arbitrary system where kindness, silence, or rejection can be punished.

Users should be aware that this platform will violate basic expectations of adult autonomy, respect, and fairness—even when you act appropriately and respectfully toward others. I will never recommend OkCupid to anyone seeking a high-quality dating experience or a platform aligned with industry standards, transparency, and human dignity.

Even worse, the company has KEPT MY MONEY AND REFUSED TO REFUND ME.

Swear to God, they must be bad ahhholes behind this company or something because they’re find lazy like they will just ban you, for no reason won’t even give you the time of day to explain why they banned you

Match Group (Hinge, POF, etc.) is headed up by Spencer Rascoff and based in Dallas, TX.
This company is a shady as a rain forest. They are crooks, liars and unethical people. Harvard is even hiding their eyes from Rascoff.
When people pay for a subscription, they expect to have access to what they paid for. Match/Hinge bans you randomly and in my case after 24 hours for doing zero wrong. Moreover, they never will tell you the reason for the ban nor will they refund your money or let you speak with a human being.
How this company is allowed to continue is beyond me.
Knowing this, and knowing there are hundreds of victims from being ripped off by this unethical outfit, I will continue to write negative reviews and for a lawsuit against Match Group and their ridiculous policies.
Question...If you get arrested and thrown in jail, do you want to know what the reason is you were arrested? If you purchase a product on Amazon and Amazon decides to keep your money and not send out the product you paid for, does that sound ethical?
Rascoff, you run a bogus, corrupt and unethical company. The answers given by the so-called "customer service" team are all canned responses from your CRM. They replies are rude, never tackle the problem and simply act to try and brush people off as if you are in the power position and your customers do not matter. For any company, Customers matter Spencer and they are the lifeblood for your overpaid salary.
I am demanding a refund for the MONEY YOU STOLE from me. Pay the refund, furnish an apology and explanation of why you wrongly banned me after 24 hours or get blasted daily for your fraud. Everything I said above is 100% factual and truthful. You run a unethical crap company. Perhaps you should get off your high horse and realize that hundreds of people got screwed out of money by you and your bogus outfit. Harvard and Harvard-Westlake must want to disown you.

Match/Hinge steals money. I bought digital credits for the dating app Hinge. And then they banned my account for no reason and refused to refund me.

I was permanently banned from Hinge without being given a clear explanation of what guideline I violated. My account was active for some time and I used it respectfully to express my personal dating preferences. I never harassed, threatened, or used discriminatory language.

When the ban occurred, I submitted an appeal through Hinge’s Help Center. The appeal was denied without any specific details about what content in my profile led to the ban. I asked for clarification but was told the decision was final. Without transparency, I have no way of knowing what rule I supposedly violated, and I was not given the opportunity to adjust my profile to comply with Hinge’s policies.

As a paying customer, I find it unfair to lose access to the service without clear reasoning, especially when other users are allowed to post inflammatory or exclusionary content without consequence.

I am requesting:
A clear explanation of the specific guideline my profile allegedly violated.
A fair reconsideration of my account ban.
The opportunity to adjust my account to comply with community standards, if necessary.

Hinge promotes itself as a platform for authentic connections, but banning users without transparency does not reflect that mission. I respectfully ask Match Group and Hinge to resolve this matter fairly.

USED TO BE GOOD In 2018(+/-). Now Its become a total scam. They hide your profile under a "shadow ban" for no reason or just outright ban you. Customer service is a fake as the many profiles that a front for foreign spies, crypto scammers, and human traffickers/prostitutes. They ban normal humans but allow these criminals to run rampant, must be kick backs involved.

They wont (or rarely) show you people local unless you pay. This company is horrible and unfornatley has a total monopoly on dating apps. I even tried email some executives... NO RESPONSE. They are deplorable group of scum supporting criminals.

Total SCAM. Match dot com, OurTime; OK Cupid, all run by this company. The customer service is a bot, I think, or customer service employees are worthless! There is no way to contact them directly. I’ve reached out via LinkedIn to the CEO, with no success. I paid my subscription and can’t get access. That’s theft!!!! This has happened to many people; go to the Match dot com Facebook page.
I had access, then lost it. Connected with a few women and since we didn’t exchange phone numbers, I’ve lost contact and they must think I’m not interested. Thanks Matchgroup!!

Match.com is a joke. A complete waste of time, money, and energy. Customer service is horrible and they have no idea what they're doing. They will ask the same stupid questions over and over again and never give a straight answer. It takes days to get a response and you're basically starting over with a new "agent" every time. If you complain about how bad they are, they just ban you from the site.

They banned me before I could even finish signing up because my account was locked and they couldn't figure out how to unlock it. Just a complete waste of time.

All users around the world please DO NOT subscribe or invest in the (Match Group) company which owns a monopoly of Dating Apps which is Hinge, Tinder, OkCupid, Plenty of Fish, Match...

As Match Group becomes so big they think they can flex their muscles however they like.

I was recently banned and wiped from Hinge due to mentioning the below question to a female that I was happily communicating with.

"I'm curious to know what your background is. It’s intriguing me".

That question does not violate any of your policies. It’s not racist or picking on any denomination. It’s clearly another topic of conversation.

I also mentioned to her that I had travelled extensively and appreciate the different cultures around us.
I cannot believe that when a person reports; then Hinge immediately reprimands the (accused) without properly investigating what the so-called accused has written. The written dialogue is the evidence and not the Report details!!!

Please don't instantly believe and act on a 'Report' issued without knowing the true details that had happened in the dialogue of communication. Read what has been exchanged and then make your mind up if there has been a violation. This is a very unfair process/decision and very unprofessional. There are always two sides to every situation and someone (usually the reporter) will blow it out of proportion.

I searched online and there is a tremendous amount of ex-user feedback outlining the same situation that has happened to them and most were on a subscription.

** Users beware if you have a subscription and your account becomes banned then you WILL NOT be able to get a refund for any unused subscription **
The Appeal process is an utter waste of time.

Jag fick mitt konto avstängt från Tinder utan någon som helst förvarning. Tydligen har jag brutit mot användarvillkoren, men ingen förklaring har getts till vad jag har gjort för att bryta mot dessa. Och nu har jag även blivit avstängd från Hinge, som en följd av detta, eftersom Match Group äger båda dessa appar. Jag har naturligtvis överklagat dessa beslut, men utan framgång. Så de pengar jag har lagt ned på prenumerationerna kommer jag nog aldrig se igen. Akta er för dessa skojare.

Beware - this is not a UK company and its already being investigated by the Irish information commissioner for breaches. Pay to use it at your peril
