I am on a quest to find the best vegan leather products out there since I am a quasi-vegetarian but the rest of my family unfortunately have an addiction to leather.
I've tried so many different brands of vegan leather, from cork only to fruit skins, aloe skins, and upcycled plastics, etc., for items ranging from belts to wallets, bags, document holders and all. But I can say hands down this is the best vegan leather product I've come across in both style and durability.
In terms of functionality, the backpack is very spacious (it doesn't look bulky at all though!) and has such useful pockets inside, I immediately fell in love with it. It's hard to describe how well-made this backpack is as a person who has always preferred backpacks over side-worn bags, that also needs to carry it into high stake meetings. If you're looking for a versatile but serious business backpack, this is it. If you're looking for a jaw-dropping vegan leather product, this is it!!
I usually don't write any reviews. But now I have to!
As an old time (ex) fan of Italian luxury shoes (my favorites were -to name a few- Cesare Paciotti, Fabi, Ferragamo, Moreschi etc.) I always cherished the high-end CRUEL italian "pelleteria", until seven years ago that I became vegan. My only regret was at that time and it still is, that why I didn't opt for it earlier. And the only worry, how to maintain my wardrobe based on my desire, especially when it comes to the bloody leather and wool goods. Part of my worry turned to be a cheerful experience with Marzeri. I placed an order in early March and got my shoes on 10.06.2025. While the wait might be long for some people, my enthusiasm kept me motivated not to cancel my order, even though the company has been apologizing for the delay and offered a refund as an option. I wasn't barefoot and I'm familiar with "bespoke" process.
What I've just received are not a pair of shoes and a nice gesture of Marzeri as a gift to thank me for waiting but a masterpiece! I would rather frame them and put them on the wall instead of wearing them. They are just exquisite. I have had other "cruelty free" shoes before. But this one is different. The artisanal craftsmanship, the quality, the color and the fitting is heavanly.
For me personally, whatever is blood-based belongs to a brutal past of my lifestyle. Marzeri is the future.
Please keep it up guys! You will shape the future, even though I know it would not be an easy path for you mainly because of consumer behavior.
